Quick friendly service, unbeatable prices, short concise menu, decadent, rich, and fresh. This Café is the jewel of the northeast side. The atmosphere is cozy and homey, like eating at your grandmothers house. The hardwood floors and compact rooms provide an intimate dining experience when attendance is low (perfect for weekday lunches). The chorizo biscuits and gravy are by far the best biscuits and gravy I have ever ordered at a restaurant and deserve a full review on their own. The roasted red potatoes are savory and perfectly seasoned. The salad is as if it were hand picked from a local garden, clean and extraordinarily fresh. For desert you have several options, all of which are decadent and delicious, featured here are the lemon bread and cheesecake, both of which are worth driving across town for. If you visit Indy, you must go to Tam's Café.

Tam's is a small, operated restaurant that serves delicious breakfast and lunch food as well as sweet treats. It is located in an older house that has been turned into a cafe. Tam's serves coffee and teas as well as sodas to drink. I've tried a few things from Tam's including the Loaded Potatoes and most recently, the Norris Hash. The hash has potatoes, sausage, spinach, fresh tomatoes, onions, green peppers, 2 eggs and toast. It was on the Sunday specials menu and was well worth it as it sold out as I was leaving around 11:20am. The staff is always accommodating and hospitable. Every time I've visited the staff always makes sure I have all I need while I am there. Nancy, the cook is a wizard in the kitchen while cooking with a conventional oven and more standard home kitchen appliances. The best I can describe the experience is like when you go to your mom's house for lunch or breakfast, and you get that warm reception and care. I highly recommend eating here to anyone that wants a small-town restaurant experience where smaller details are taken care of.

All I can say is WOW!!! The chorizo gravy is to die for!!! The quiche was great and to top it off a cinnamon roll was perfect! Small and quaint with and outside deck!

Tam's is a pleasant surprise tucked away in Lawrence. From the outside you wouldn't think it's a restaurant but as soon as you park and get out of your car the smells tell you right away you're in for a treat. The food is great. The service is great. I had the grilled cheese with the jalapeno jam and it was delightful. Cannot wait to get back over for lunch again. If you're looking for a place to sit down, slow down, and eat a great meal, Tam's is the spot.

My new favorite place for breakfast/brunch!! I had their chorizo biscuit and gravy special. It’s so hard to find good gravy, and theirs was delicious 😋 Also had their cold brew with special vanilla mix and it was delicious. Loved sitting out on the back porch.

The Lox and Bagel sandwich was fantastic! A neat spot down in the historic Oaklandon area. I highly recommend it!

This place looks like cute little home turned into a restaurant. The chorizo biscuits and gravy was good! It came out hot with plenty of gravy. My husband has the meat quiche special. I had their iced coffee with their specialty creamer. The iced coffee was okay buy enjoyable enough. The cherry Danish was super good. Everyone was really nice and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We have been 3 or 4 times. Service and food is always very good. Don't forget to get some of their baked goods to take home. Word to the wise. If you don't enjoy bees, don't have breakfast on the front porch. Eat inside or try the back deck.

We went.because it had a five star rating with many reviews. We missed it initially because it is a house with tables inside and out. The food and service was great. The prices were fair. Unique and worth visiting for a great breakfast.

Our first visit, but not the last. My wife had the quiche with ham (they also have a vegetarian quiche), and I had the breakfast burrito with sausage. Wife had a fruit cup, and I had the breakfast potatoes. Everything was delicious with prompt service. It's a converted house with a limit of 25, but it wasn't crowded when we were there. Weekends might be more crowded. A variety of coffee drinks are also available. Thumbs up.

Absolutely unique and delicious! I had the quiche of the day, that also included a salad with the most delicious lemon-vinaigrette dressing that was light & not overpowering. The servings were large. I also had a pecan cheesecake that was yummy. My friend had a croissant bacon & egg sandwich with scrumptious home fried potatoes. We love this place & will return again for lunch the next time.
