My wife and I visited Domaine Tempier in 1994. Lulu poured some of the most wonderful Bandol wines from years past and because I mentioned that I was a devoted customer of Kermit Lynch, she treated us like family and not just customers off the street. They produce, in my opinion, some of the most delicious and drinkable Provençal wines I've ever had. Their wine will always be a benchmark for the Provençal style.

Veroníque graciously poured for my mother and I--though our visit was during a hot difficult harvest. The wines are as always, delicious and robust. And we reminisced about her beloved mother, Alice Waters and Kermit Lynch--bay area food and wine luminaries--and the spirits of our nostalgic link to Bandol & Provence.

Since a long time I really like the Tempier Bandol rose a lot. Now I am in the neighbourhood I absolutely needed to visit the place. Very friendly reception and nice tasting. Unfortunately not all wines are for public sale. I think some of them are only for restaurants? But nevertheless great to be here and even the wines are sold out in the Netherlands, you can buy them still here. So great place to be.

My family and friend had a private wine tasting at Domaine Tempier. Daniel was our "sommelier" and demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the wine, the growing of the grapes, and the vinification process. We sampled blancs, rosés, and rouges, ranging from 2014 to 2020. A wonderful experience! And the location is gorgeous. Do make the effort to arrange a tasting and sample some of the best wines the Bandol region has to offer.
