Mixed
feelings
about
this
place.
Rooms:
decently
clean,
well
air-conditioned,
comfortably
big
beds.
Nice
foam
textured
pillows,
not
too
soft
not
too
hard.
Lockers
were
big
enough
for
a
suitcases
and
a
backpack,
and
as
long
as
the
keycards
were
correctly
matched
they
were
easy
to
use.
However,
there
were
some
mix
ups
with
the
bunks
assignments
and
lockers
that
caused
some
confusion.
We
(ourselves
and
our
fellow
guests)
easily
resolved
things
ourselves,
but
it
should
not
have
happened
in
the
first
place.
Bathrooms
and
toilets:
there’s
a
private
shower
room
(separate
shower
and
sink/mirror)
and
toilet
for
each
room,
both
are
spacious
and
very
clean.
However,
there’s
no
sink
in
the
toilet,
so
if
you
want
to
wash
your
hands
after
and
the
shower
is
occupied,
you’re
screwed.
There’s
also
no
hand
soap
provided
at
the
sink.
No
shower
mat,
so
the
floor
gets
wet
very
quickly
when
someone
takes
a
shower.
Amenities
were
minimal
but
what
was
provided
was
good
enough.
Location:
a
little
too
far
away
from
the
centre
for
this
price,
as
it
was
a
ten
minute
walk
from
the
nearest
Metro
(we
paid
36
Euros
per
bunk
per
night,
and
booked
2-3
weeks
before).
Hard
to
find
for
Uber
drivers,
which
can
be
tricky.
However,
supermarkets,
bakeries,
and
restaurants
are
nearby,
so
your
daily
needs
won’t
go
unfulfilled.
Staff:
the
ladies
on
the
staff
we
interacted
with
were
all
helpful
with
our
questions,
but
unfortunately
we
cannot
say
the
same
for
the
gentlemen
who
had
the
night
shifts.
During
check-in
(we
checked
in
around
11pm),
the
security
guy
and
front
desk
staff
were
a
little
too
close
and
“helpful”
as
we
used
the
the
check-in
machine.
Credit
cards
and
passports
are
required,
and
we
did
not
comfortable
that
they
would
reach
for
our
documents
too
hastily
move
the
process
along,
even
though
the
machine
was
simple
to
use
and
we
did
not
ask
for
assistance.
At
one
point,
later
in
the
evening,
the
front
desk
staff
physically
took
my
girlfriend’s
debit
card
from
her
hand
to
“explain”
how
the
vending
machine
worked.
Why?
It
is
a
vending
machine.
There
should
be
no
reason
for
him
to
literally
take
a
card
without
at
least
asking
first.
During
check-in,
as
is
standard
procedure,
he
showed
us
to
our
bunks
and
explained
how
the
keycards
worked.
When
we
arrived,
there
was
already
a
set
of
seemingly
used
duvets
and
a
charger
on
one
of
our
beds,
and
he
casually
took
both
things
and
threw
them
on
another
bed
(this
would
later
contribute
to
the
confusion
with
our
roommates,
who
were
supposed
to
occupy
that
bed).
He
made
no
mention
of
this
action,
as
if
it
was
normal.
New
duvets
were
in
our
lockers,
however,
given
the
way
this
staff
member
handled
this,
I
cannot
be
certain
that
each
guest
genuinely
gets
a
new
set
of
clean
bedding.
Other:
we
did
not
do
laundry
here
because
it
is
ridiculously
expensive
(7.5
euro
per
cycle).
The
vending
machines
were
also
expensive.
There
is
no
kitchen
nor
fridge,
so
late
at
night
the
guests
have
almost
no
option
but
to
buy
from
the
vending
machines.
In
conclusion,
not
the
best
but
also
not
the
worst
hostel
we’ve
ever
stayed
in,
wouldn’t
necessarily
choose
to
stay
here
again
but
it
is
a
decent
last-minute
option
for
budget
travellers.
