An excellent hotel, dog Friendly, very welcoming, will use again if we're in the area

Our stay at this hotel was mostly prompted by a need to stay somewhere that accepted dogs. Their large enclosed garden and easy access during the night, was the best we've found in years for her. The bedroom was huge, with two double beds and a separate bathroom with a large shower. Everything was comfortable and the breakfast was good. There wasn't a restaurant there for the evening meal but we were directed by the receptionist to a nearby place with good food and were very happy with her recommendation. Everything was clean and well kept. We'd be happy to go back if we go that way again in the future. Although inside the ring road, the hotel was quiet and we were not bothered by any traffic noise.

Lovely setting very quiet. Small breakfast room but good choice. Pet friendly but if you have an older pet ask for a down stairs room , we did not was a bit of a struggle for our elderly springer. They do not have a restaurant but will order takeaway meals to be delivered to room or if a nice day you can eat in the garden.

Really beautiful setting, with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The garden is perfect for kids to run around and play, c.f. or for adults to enjoy a drink in romantic setting after dark. Only the heavy storm shutters in the rooms, that can make it uncomfortably warm detract.

A nice place with a nice garden full of activities. However, dinner was the offer of a pizza restaurant takeaway menu which was a real shame. And I felt sorry for the one very charming girl who was on shift servicing everyone, particularly when a sulking owner came storming past me having been arguing behind the bar. The rooms had no air con which made our stay insanely hot during unusually high temperatures. I had to sleep under a water-soaked sarong. The room was in the 30s at 2230 at night, which was incredibly uncomfortable for my young family.

Family friendly small hotel. Simple, clean with delicious breakfast. Beautiful relaxing gardens, with entertainment for the children. I'd definitely go back there.

A beautiful hotel very warm and welcoming, nice rooms, good size bathroom (no bath)but once again they do allow dogs which is great, the only downside they dont have a restaurant, with wonderful gardens to walk round its a winner

Great grounds. Lovely room. Clearly in process of upgrading so not yet perfect but I recommend this hotel and plan to come back.

I loved the place , it’s cosy and has a nice garden outside. It’s also in a really good neighbourhood with access to most places conveniently. My room was always warm and I was well looked after. They even made sure there was gluten free bread available for me at breakfast. The staff was always helpful. Ms. Aline gave some really good tips on what to do and was always ready to help. The rest of the staff as well. Mr. Vincent actually came to pick me up himself from a park because we had a taxi situation which I appreciate greatly. The intern at the reception was always forthcoming and pleasant. You have to be prepared for a stay at a home more than a hotel though but rest assured I had no complaints. There was another young lady at the desk who was also kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend them.

we enjoyed our first stay here so much in December 2022 that we booked in again on our return to France in January 2023 - the hotel and room were just perfect for us, and the staff are just lovely - great value for money, clean, modern, lovely breakfast and evening meal was delicious, no hesitation in recommending to others and will definitely book in again when traveling to and from the UK - thank you for everything

Ein charmantes Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Garten. Wir haben eine Nacht im Familienzimmer verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal sehr nett. Sehr zu empfehlen, auch für Familien mit Kindern. Das Stadtzentrum ist in nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Beautiful couple received us with smiles and personal attention. Great that they offer a simple dinner for when you travel from far. Breakfast is abundant. Rooms clean. Thank you.
