We stayed here on Friday 20th August. Paid 150 euros. Absolute rip off. The bathroom was tiny and when showering water run under the bathroom door into the bedroom. The bathroom door handle was falling off and there were large areas of rust. The window was filthy and no extra pillows were available. Avoid this place at all cost! Will never use Ibis again.

I didn't have high expectations regarding this one-star hotel, however the smell in the hotel and especially in my room was disgusting, the smell of mold or something... It was nice that while I was still on my way to Le Mans the receptionist called me on my mobile and explained the procedure of late check-in. Also, thanks for the hot water I asked for once. Well, the stuff was friendly and helpful :) (Sorry for taking pictures too late - with my stuff scattered over the bed)

What an absolutely diabolical end to a fantastic holiday week!!! I booked 2 rooms as a stop over to break the journey up on the way back up to Calais, tiny rooms, rubbish facilities, €42 for an excuse of a breakfast, it was like a bloody cattle market!!! No food left half way through by the time we actually got into the dining room. Beds where rubbish, room was red hot, shower was broken, the only decent part was the very friendly, helpful guy that was on reception when we arrived, the morning staff however were ignorant and rude, on reflection I'd rather of slept in the bloody car!!!! Very very poor establishment......

Don't bother. We had a very long drive during our vacation in Europe and decided that it would be safer to break up the drive and stop at cheap hotel close to the highway. We showed at the hotel around midnight and found a few people stranded as the self-checking wasn't working. After nearly an hour with Accor Hotel customer service, we gave up and drove off to finish our journey.

This is a tale of two halves, we had booked last minute via a online booking agent for Ibis budget university site, the company had taken the money out, upon arrival no booking on the 24 hour automated machine, we rang the night receptionist. Now first problem between us This is a tale of two halves, we had booked last minute via a online booking agent for Ibis budget university site, the company had taken the money out, upon arrival no booking on the 24 hour automated machine, we rang the night receptionist. Now first problem we speak English ,Spainish, Portuguese and Galician but the night reception only French this might sound rude, I get it your in France but Le Mans is an international center for Racing.. we were travelling up from Spain and needed a place to rest. So she tried on the automated machine .. Used google translate.. “you have no booking” I show her the booking number from the online company and where they have taken the money it even says on the booking form and my online bank statement Ibis Budget Uni, she points to her phone and pressed the talk button on google the voice says “you have no booking” and goes back inside and leaves us there. Sorry Ibis your night receptionist was rude unhelpful and uncaring. Luckily for us we drove to your other site in the centre and found Arron who was excellent who went above and beyond to help us at 12.30 at night. Ibis you need to sort you automated machine ..

Pleasant reception staff. Very small but clean room. Comfy bed but pillow was hard. No air con so room was very hot and stuffy as we stayed on a hot day. Well situated with a nearby shop and bar.

Staying here overnight. Room is clean, so is the bedding and en suite. Perfectly adequate for a one or two night stay and a good price. Useful small supermarket across the road so bought bread and jam for breakfast. (Always have my travelling kettle for drinks). In middle of university campus, so a bit of life around the place and plenty of places to walk our dog. In all, very happy.

We booked this hotel a few minutes before we arrived, the man on reveption was very welcoming, very polite and very helpful. The room was very clean, spacey and aired. Shower was pretty great too. My only wish is that we had booked the breakfast too, it looked fresh, and plenty to choose from. Cleaning ladies were very polite and did their jobs to a high standard. Normally we use F1 hotels, best hotels and premiere, but I would say in all honesty that Mr Bed was far better than the others. Well done Mr Big, we WILL be seeing you again later in the year and also next may. Thankyou for your kind nature and great service.

Awful experience.. we booked through the ibis website. We arrived about 9.00 no receptionist the office was shut. We were given a QR code to book in however no QR reader.. the booking in machine didn’t work as it wasn’t connected to the internet.. we rang the two emergency numbers given you could hear them ringing in the closed reception office. We rang Accor All who directed is to the Ibis in the center of Le Mans.. we arrived there , but they wanted us to pay again another €57.. we refused as we had already be payed, eventually found a different hotel. My advice is if you do book here make sure you book in before the office shuts as there is no night receptionist. Update we rang the day after they promised to look into the problem and refund us. Still no refund or email as promised.
