This is the worst Hilton I have stayed in a long time. Not even close to Hilton standards. Parking is a nightmare. Rooms are filthy and totally outdated. Diamond and/or Gold members have no benefits. Elevators don’t work properly. Breakfast is poor. There are many Hampton Inn hotels at much higher standard around the UK. I have stayed here twice and my impression just got worst. Definitely not worth paying more than £50 to stay. You are better off staying in an Ibis, premier inn or holiday Inn Express, which will give much more value for you money. Staff try hard to be nice but can’t manage to compensate for such poor standards.Really hard to believe that Hilton allows this Hotel to carry their brand. Unbelievable. Stay away!

Beautiful rooms, lovely access via the escalator and lift so nice to get around. Right in the middle of Leeds. Clean all around, pleasant staff. However it was difficult to get served at the hotel bar as there wasn't much staff around, also not much of a cocktail menu.

The location of this hotel is ideal, right in the centre of Leeds. I needed to attend a conference in the city and the Hilton made sense to visit. Please don't bother telephoning as the operators aren't that helpful. The hotel staff however? By far the most lovely and most supportive ever. The room was clean and appropriate for a wheelchair user. The gym isn't accessible but not a priority at present. The coffee in the foyer was a true delight and the service by the staff was warm and very accommodating. I must admit, the restaurant blew me away, I wouldn't have expected such tasty food with halal options too. Truly surprised in a magnificent way. I would actually come back for the food let alone the lovely service and attentiveness of the staff. The breakfast options were nice with no surprises, and yet again the staff outshone any other hotel I've visited. Very well done team! I am now looking at more conferences based here! A highly recommended option if you are visiting Leeds as it is right in the centre of town.

Nice hotel the car parking is on the small side so any big cars do struggle to get into a space and be able to get out. The staff were helpful and friendly the breakfast in the morning is too classy and the amazing range of foods is very very impressive. The rooms are nice and we're d coated well with towels and toiletries available for me personally it would be nice to have a sachet of hot chocolate in the room as I don't drink tea or coffee but again only my personal preference. Bottles of water were an added bonus so would recommend the stay, the location is good but there's so much road work happening at the moment this does cause a lot of traffic issues.

Rooms good. basic and clean. Access to pool, sauna and steam room. Had several issues with room keys and had to keep going back to the reception to sort out. This was very frustrating. Parking convenient and under hotel which was good, but multi storey very tight and narrow even for confident driver. Facilities good. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good.

Probably the worst hotel in Leeds. Staff is not helpful. Building is so old. I can't see anything from Hilton quality, It was my decision to book this hotel because of it's Hilton but this is big disappointment. I have two part booking by OTA and staff asked me to do c/in & c/out in the connection day (they can normally combine it by system) I specially highlighted that I'll c/in 12:00 in arrival day. Staff charged extra pounds for each hour (they have room already, they was not in shortage of rooms) Reception didn't accept my company card for deposit and made me wait a lot for this issue. Location is bad, building is quite old. Rooms are not good for stay. I can surely say that Hilton Leeds doesn't deserve what they charge. Hilton Headquarters should investigate this hotels quality regulations. I wish I could stay in hostel %25 cost of this resort, probably it would be same quality.

Relaxing 1 night. Comfortable room. Good gym and pool. Enjoyable breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. And next door to City Centre Station. Overall no complaints.

A really nice hotel in the heart of the city. We'll appointed rooms and helpful, friendly staff. Drinks in the bar are on the pricey side though! Having the Reception on the third floor really messes with your mind! Useful car park but exit ramps are very tight.

  • 4/5 Humphrey O. 6 months ago on Google
In the centre of town, with parking facilities. The car spaces are narrow. You have to squeeze yourself up to come out of your car. The room we stayed in was small but clean with nice WC and shower. The proximity of many areas of interest to the hotel is one of the reasons we stayed here.

Awesome. Everything exactly as you would expect from a quality hotel. Girl on check in was brilliant and Chap on breakfast was really helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous, room was wonderful. Pool was small but perfectly adequate. Everything was perfect.

The rooms are god awful! They need be gutted and refit. You walk in and the first thing you see is ugly brown carpet. I swear it’s from the 80s. My room had several stains - looked like either cigarette burns where the carpet melted or gum. The bathroom is incredibly small! But that’s the least of the issue. The faucets including showers are extremely finicky to get the right water temp. It’s either too cold or you will scald yourself!! The shower pressure is barely a trickle. And last the furniture had trim / finish pieces missing exposing the rough wood underneath - perfect for getting fine clothing snagged. Overall I would not stay at their hotel given a choice until rooms are refitted. This is should not be called a Hilton - the brand should remove its name from the facility.

Nice enough but lacks basic amenities which you would expect in a city centre hotel. For example, rooms do not include a mini fridge (even if empty) and the sink in my room couldn’t be plugged. Also lots of noise from adjacent plant machinery and a very strange smell in the lobby. Staff were very friendly.

  • 5/5 Camille G. 11 months ago on Google
Stopped over for 1 night with my Granddaughter, the room was fine, bed was comfy, plenty of hot water for bath and showers, we both slept really well with no noise from inside or outside the hotel. The pool was just the right size and depth for a 5year old. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

  • 1/5 Alex T. 4 months ago on Google
Rooms are terrible & very outdated, the bed moved across the room when you sat on it! When we made a complaint about the room the receptionist was slightly rude & very unhelpful! Will not be staying here again, £150 for one night is extremely overpriced

If you are hypersensitive or have sensory issues I would avoid this place. The staff are amazingly helpful and pleasant and the place is clean etc but due to the location it is very very noisy at night and incredibly stuffy, no air flow despite opening the window. There is no ventilation and the lower floors smell of drains. The little spa area is cute. Buffet breakfast spread was gorgeous - the smell of drains in the foyer put me off a little although it wasn’t as prevalent in the actual dining area. I don’t want to trash talk as it seems to be run very well and I can’t fault the staff at all but I found it a difficult place to be due to sensory reasons.

  • 3/5 Alex C. 7 months ago on Google
Rooms are outdated. Squeaky mattress. No fridge for cold drinks. Maintenance staff open the door without checking if someone is in the room. They just open the door with their master key. Somewhat odd because our checking out time wasn't due until 4 hours. Reception staff friendly and welcoming upon checking-in. And when I could not access the gym twice. They used their pass to allow me access. The room is said to be deluxe. But small for a deluxe, more like standard in size and in features. Breakfast excellent selection. Serving staff friendly and hospitable.

Friendly professional and efficient staff.. comfortable.clean rooms. Great location. Tiny criticism...lighting in bathroom not great for make up. Overall though a great place to stay. Slept well in a comfortable clean room.

I’m surprised by some of the reviews on here. I would probably say this is one of the best Hilton’s I have stayed in. Firstly, the staff are absolutely superb. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, particularly at breakfast. It makes such a difference to your stay. Well done to the whole team. 😊 Secondly, the breakfast is one of the best selections and quality I’ve had at Hilton. Two types of bacon, excellent sausages! 😂 Overall, a very pleasant experience. It’s location is also fantastic, so that’s a big plus. In terms of the rooms, they are a bit dated in some areas. Mine had a newer bathroom, but it was clean and the bed was comfy. Again, the housekeepers were brilliant. I agree having the reception on the 3rd floor is a bit random. The Health Club has now closed, so maybe reception could now move downstairs, which would provide a better welcome and more security. Thanks to all the team for a brilliant stay!

Last minute booking at 23:30. Reception very friendly when checking in. Stunning hotel and very modern rooms with walk in shower etc. The only fault I could give was we were on the 9th floor and it absolutely reeked of Cannabis which even went into our room.

  • 2/5 Alfonso F. 1 year ago on Google
Room is small but comfy. Bathroom small. Room very clean. Parking very narrow. Breakfast 🤐. Menu very poor. 90%of the staff amazing but after paying £5K for 1 full month per advance. They did not want to bring me a service room on day 7 because I had £189 on my account? Remember after paying £5k per advance? Really?

Having stayed at the Hilton Leeds City many times for work travel, I am always happy with my stay. The service at check in is always efficient and friendly and the room is good quality and sufficient for a short stay. You do get some noise from the train station, being so close to it, and you do hear people in the corridor and in the adjacent rooms if they're being loud though.

  • 5/5 Clement Le B. 2 years ago on Google
First time in Leeds, decided to book the Hilton for its services (swimming pool, gym, good breakfast). The room is big enough and very comfortable. The personal is very lovely and polite. Large breakfast choice and good quality! Will definitely go back there again for my next trip in Leeds!

  • 4/5 Paul D. 2 years ago on Google
Polite staff and helpful too. Areas of the hotel are a bit tired but they appear to be refurbishing. Rooms not so big but foe a short stay absolutely fine. Have all the bits you expect in a room from tea/coffee, safe, towels and toiletries. And most important, clean. I thought breakfast was good too.

  • 2/5 Jamila T. 2 years ago on Google
Good location in the city. There was strong eggs smell around the hotel. Very tired looking rooms needs a refurb I think. The heating/air-con didn't work, the monitor wasn't attached to the wall. Not what you would expect from the hilton brand. You could get better hotels for the price.

  • 5/5 James L. 2 years ago on Google
I have stayed here twice. The rooms were comfortable, although no bath in the room I was in. The window was a little difficult to register as "Closed" on the aircon although it was shut firmly, so i had a little issue with getting the aircon to turn on. But the bathrooms were nice and the bed comfortable. All the basics you would expect were present. The staff were very accommodating, allowing me using the car park during the day and no "waiting around" at the front desk for either checking in or checking out. Overall a pleasant and friendly experience and I would be happy returning.

Had an absolutely amazing stay here, we booked the day before on the website and got a discount for signing up to website, the room was nice and clean with a nice modern bathroom and good view. All staff we encountered gave the best customer service, we're all lovely and super friendly, made us feel so welcome! Added a few complimentary extras too! 100% will be back soon!

Great Location but front entrance is looking very much in need of some TLC, not the most attractive approach. Rooms were very good, breakfast superb, bar selection and service very good. Room price also value for money. Accommodating and freindly staff throughout the hotel. Enjoyable stay.

Great location, very close to train station, shopping, dining; and more. The lobby is bright and welcoming with a nice bar/cafe. Staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. The rooms are a bit tired but overall clean and comfortable (also lots of outlets which is always great). Based on the great location you can deduce that there will be a bit of city/train noise but it didn’t effect our sleep or experience. We had a minor issue with the flusher not working on our toilet but the staff was helpful and we simply moved to a room a few doors down. While we didn’t utilize the gym facility, it looked wonderful as it’s a full health center not just a hotel gym. We will definitely stay again!

Only a four minutes walk from Leeds station so very convenient. I found the room really clean, good Aircon and a very comfortable bed. I had a shower & bath and both were good with a good shower pressure. Some train noise due to being so close to the station but this was quiet and didn't interrupt my sleep - I slept really well. Hotel has leisure facilities and I used the pool, steam room & sauna. All were really good, pool was busy but this was a Thursday evening when I used it. Breakfast cooked & continental self service, really nice quality. For the room, facilities and breakfast I thought this was excellent value and feel well rested after my stay.

  • 3/5 Leon D. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent service and good. Really welcoming and helpful. The room was a bit dated. Was ok in terms of cleanliness and comfort but the air con didn’t work well, the shower was nice. The pool and sauna are fine, small but nice. Parking is really tight.

Great central location for Leeds city centre. Service was excellent. In particular Gabriella at reception couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. A very warm welcome after a long journey, thank you Gabriella. Breakfast was incredible, a great selection and very fresh. If I had one complaint, it would be that the rooms are looking a little tired and in need of a refresh but I was given a king suite and was very spacious and had everything I needed. I will definitely be staying again next time I am in Leeds but will remember to take swimming shorts as I didn't realise use of the pool was included..

This hotel is a great option if staying in Leeds. The bedroom is very comfortable and well equipped (iron/board, tea/coffee/biscuits, toiletries, plugs next to the bed!) with a large desk and tv. It’s also conveniently located just a couple of minutes away from the train station and the centre of Leeds. I had room service which was quick, easy and the food was great. The room and bathroom in particular are on the smaller side, though.

The worst Hilton you can stay in. I booked 2 rooms on a Friday night and both were below quality. 2* room branded as a Hilton Old decor, worn out carpets, stiff windows. 2 plugs sockets in the whole room. The temperature control buttons didn't work. They had a sign outside the parking saying it was full, had a look and there was multiple spaces. Came back later and the sign was gone, the car park was full. Staff at the reception are slow. Jacuzzi didn't work and there was a swimming lesson happening which took half of the pool. Pool, sauna and steam are all smaller than average. I've seen budget hotels better quality than this.

  • 3/5 Michelle D. 1 year ago on Google
The location was great. I was just a bit disappointed because I always expect Hilton was one of the best. But to experience a faulty air conditioning on a very hot weather plus a block sink in our toilet, it’s not acceptable. The noises in the middle of the night woke me up too. However, they do serve nice breakfast 😆

  • 4/5 Craig W - H. 1 year ago on Google
Nice is the best way I would describe it, old leaks in the bathroom ceiling not even patched with paint to hide the staining; the logical place to have an electrical outlet for the iron is apparently right next to the room & bathroom door... Not the ample open space down by the windows, Which even closed, barely isolate the outside sound. Damage to walls all over the place & TV had dead pixels all over the place on the right side. One extra star was the Pool & Gym. The Staff here honestly saved this stay 👀 The cheese was good on the Pizza, which is why I still finished it and didn't order anymore (Honestly no idea how a hot pizza can be hot & so stiff); done a nice wee handwritten message; think Starbucks coffee cup, I enjoyed that too.

The room was huge and the sitting area that was attached was incredibly spacious. It felt like a suite! The location is great with all the restaurants 15 minutes walk away. It is just off the motorway and incredibly easy to get too. There is an attached sports gym and pool. I could not get to it due to work commitments but looked huge. Excellent experience.

  • 1/5 Susan R. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms not upto standard, very dated. Unhappy with the room at the price we paid. Hilton staff were good.other hilton hotels we used in the past, are much nicer.Staff very helpful. Not suitable for a disabled person. Pool disgustingly unkempt. The floor had hairs swimming around in and lots of water in ladies changing area. Private Swimming lesson in session during guest time. The pool isn't big enough as photos show. Extremely disappointed in whole experience. But as I said the staff has done there best . Can't fault them. Also no fridge in the room which would of been expected for price. Certainly not the star rating as stated. £850 2 nights.

  • 2/5 Tim W. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is looking very old and worn out! The breakfast was not very good, the hot food was cold, the fried eggs were soaking in grease and solid! Bread was hard and on the turn. Rooms are basic with worn out furniture. The pillows were amazing though. Could not control the temperature of the room as the controls were broken! No ventilation the bathroom which leads to a steam room when the showers is used. Not what you would expect from a Hilton
