Good place with lots of seating, specially to seat outside under the sun, if any. Service was a bit slow, and there was not that many people. Lots of seating available at noon on a Saturday, but got crowded closer to the evening. Drinks took a while to arrive, food was a bit faster. Great food and tasty, I tried what I thought was something Dutch, a huge meatball served in a sauce with some fries and some other sauces. Nice atmosphere, with diverse groups, friends, family, couples, etc To me it was a bit pricy.

Popped in to this cafe for lunch whilst wandering the old town of Leeuwarden and ended up with tea for the evening as well. It was great sunny weather so we sat outside. Fast, friendly and attentive service and huge portions. One doggy bag later we had Caesar salad for tea!

Excellent service. Lunch bitet: fries (great), salmon.wrap (great), crispy chicken (okay), nachos (neh. not good).

The one time I ate here it was fine. But don't come here to drink a beer, it tastes like glassex, the cleaning soap for your windows.

Nice terrace with heaters and even heated cushions on the benches. The monchou cake is really good. The caesar salad for lunch is good and a really big portion

Amazing service, classmate had to shoot a short movie. They offered a complete dining ares on the third floor all to our selfs.

Delicious meals, great service, the decoration is the best of this town. They are flexible with meal alterations and the wait time is short. If I could eat there every day I would.

While we love the atmosphere, the kitchen uses so much bleach that the entire ground floor smells strongly like bleach which makes you sick. Our 3 course menu’s main dish arrived 55 minutes after the first course, we complained as we had a movie to make but no response. Sorry not good enough

Lovely old fashioned place with a good, varied menu for both food and drinks. Friendly, efficient service. We sat inside where it is a little dingey due to the low lighting but it has a charming ambiance

Bbq beef strips portions are big and tasty. Cocktail was great too. I would recommend this place.

Came in to try their vegetarian options and they were able to accommodate suggested changes to their Gorgonzola pasta dish. Instead we got a delicious pasta dish with veggies and pesto spice. The lentil curry dish with rice was my favorite and far surpassed my expectations. We were also served complimentary side dishes (coleslaw, fries and sauce).

We had lunch at De Walrus and thoroughly enjoyed it. The servings are so big that I didn't even manage to finish mine, even though I usually empty my plate. Waiting time was negligible. Our order was served within 5 minutes.
