I have always wanted to go here and I finally went. I enjoyed it. Great artwork. They have a roof top that was cool! Don't know why I waited so long. They asked for a donation admission that supports the arts! Happy to donate!

I could not have picked a better place to book the best night of my life. My husband and I got married at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center on May 19, 2018. We had our ceremony on the front steps and the reception right inside. Stasi, the event coordinator, did any amazing job accommodating us. She was very proactive and helped me out so much when planning everything. I could not thank her and the team enough for making my day so special. We've received so many compliments about our venue. Our guests were amazed by the beauty and personality of the building. One of my bridesmaids actually suggested to her sister who just recently got engaged to get married here. So if you don't want to take my word for it, just ask any one of our 120 guests! By the way, it rained on our wedding day and even that couldn't ruin a damn thing! This place is beautiful.

This place is amazing. To see how an old post office building is repurposed to be one of the now hottest destinations in downtown Fort Myers is truly marvelous.

We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at the SBDAC and we were blown away by, not just the beauty of this building, but the staff were AMAZING! The value of having our party there cannot be understated. They were accommodating with ALL of our needs and requests, we never felt nickel-and-dimed like most places and the staff, OMG I can't say enough, the staff were the AMAZING. Starting with Stasi Gonzalez who helped us book the event and organize all of the details. She was so easy to work with and communicated extremely well. Then on the day of the party, we met Spencer who helped us with loading all of the party decor and food into a safe place. It is important to state that we had originally planned to have the party on the rooftop until a completely unexpected rainstorm hit us 1 hour before the party was to start. This is where the SBDAC team really stepped up! They moved all of our stuff down to the 2nd floor indoor gallery, moved all of their bar setup and helped us decorate an entirely different space within 45 min of the party starting. To say these people were hardworking, accommodating and efficient is just an understatement. Special thanks to Harper, our Event Manager who made sure everything was getting set up perfectly and she stayed throughout the entire night. Jacob & Olivia, our Bartenders we THE BEST and also helped with the change of venue set-up (Jacob, thanks for helping me fill those vases!). Alex, the Barback, and Luz & Christian for moving tables, fetching chairs, re-directing lighting and literally doing anything we asked. You all were amazing! And shout-out to Dharma (please forgive me if I got your name wrong) who directed all of our guests to the new location and ensured no party-crashers tried to sneak up. All in all, parties are so much work, but the SBDAC makes me look at our future and see what other events we could consider hosting. Maybe next time the weather will cooperate and we can party on the rooftop!

We recently held our annual employee event at SBDAC and I have to say that everything was AMAZING. From our initial contact with our event coordinator, LaDwaina Barron, who made the entire process so easy and accommodating; to the staff that worked the event, very courteous and attentive. The night was absolutely wonderful! We can't wait to host our event here again in the future. Highly recommend if you have an upcoming event, such an amazing venue.

It is a treat when our Southwest Florida Symphony musicians get to play at the historic Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, surrounded by fine art. We hosted our first Mini-Masterworks of our 60th Anniversary concert season here last night. The String Trio delivered an EXCELLENT performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations. We can’t wait to be back. Thanks to all who support the music and arts in our community!

A lively evening of live music, spoken word, poetry, as well as displays/exhibits of contemporary art, fashion design and entrepreneurs in personal care and healing. KUDOS to GCL. SBDAC was the perfect choice for our wedding. The venue has a magical feeling. The outside is absolutely beautiful. The staff here will do whatever it takes to make the day right. We had rain in the forecast and the venue staff was flexible all day long moving from plan A to B to C and back to B!! Truly a great space for a wedding of 100+. Stasi was our point person and was extremely helpful over the course of the year we worked with her. I highly recommend!

I had an amazing time visiting the Sidney &Berne Davis Art Center to watch a group of local artists perform. It was my 1st time visiting there. The center is very beautiful both inside and outside. The luminary columns outside displaying names after dark, adds a breathtaking view to the downtown Fort Myers area.

This non profit facility is the place to go for spectacular concerts! Each month there are new art exhibitions filling the two galleries to tantalize even the most well traveled among us! High entertainment combined with a great cause. People are united in wedded bliss nearly every weekend in this historic and gorgeous building. And their photos turn out phenomenally due to the unique backdrops of marble, limestone, coral and seashells! Not to mention the two bronze Caloosahatchee Manuscripts that grace the sidewalk out front, which light up so prettily each night. It just may be the most notable downtown photo spot. Also the Davis School of Music offers students of every age lessons and the opportunity to perform in the Grand Atrium in front of live audiences. Simply an incredible experience for everyone!

We rented the arts center for our November 2022 wedding and we couldn’t have been happier! From the initial tour with Stasi to the planning and night of with Rebekka, everything turned out so beautifully. This venue has EVERYTHING! we had the reception on the front steps, cocktail hour on the rooftop and reception in the gallery. The rental even included shutting down the street! We are so thankful to the entire team as Hurricane Ian impacted so many venues in the area, we were still able to have our big day just a month after the storm. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! The River District that's a nice shopping area with a nice selection of stores and it makes you want to drive in and out. It is on a busy route so once you're in to the business district, you can take your time looking for a place to park looking for a place to shop and looking for the store you're looking for. most of the buildings are nicely presentable and has a nice selection of stores this area is quaint and unique and it's a nice place to shop and visit. I'm sure the locals are real pleased with this shopping district. and the prices are in line with most of the shopping centers in the area.

A wonderful museum talking all the exhibits good for contemporary also vintage art.... Loved how they laid out the place can spend hours here looking at things and so many ways and different concepts of what they really mean... Went with friends and a wonderful time discussing stuff and then we went to the rooftop bar and dance floor which was amazing by itself.... If you're in town I recommend it.......

PERFECT venue! The staff was efficient and kept everything very low stress. Harper was truly amazing, she was always available and went above and beyond our expectations. The building itself was beautiful and was the perfect setting for our Florida wedding. We are from out of state, so communication was key, and they made sure to help with all aspects of the day. Because of this, I can say that our wedding was perfect with no issues. Highly recommend!

Downtown Ft. Myers is a treasure to the whole region and nationally. Sidney & Berne Davis Center is a crown jewel of that. Offering a venue and programs that enhance, embellish and greatly add to the art and culture scene. Providing a great place to go, see and be seen. Look them up check the schedules for what suits you, then go to that and pick another thing there. Enjoy.

So glad this beautiful historic landmark is getting better exposure beyond hosting exclusive events. Local art is on display free of charge but a donation is encouraged and worth it to gain access to the gallery and rooftop bar. It's nice to have something else to enjoy downtown!

My wife and I booked the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center for our wedding because we fell In love with the architecture of the building and the stunning views from the rooftop bar. Our Event manager Rebekka was fantastic at answering my many, many, questions and personally helped make sure everything went as planned on the hectic day of, while my wife and I were getting ready. The entire staff went above and beyond to work with me, my wife, and our vendors to make sure our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. Couldn't recommend them enough!

We had our wedding at the SBDAC January 2022. Our main point of contact was Stasi, and she was so great. She is so knowledgeable about the venue and presented all of the possibilities. She was very accessible throughout the planning process and responded in a timely matter. She made planning our day easier. The venue itself is gorgeous. We loved the coral columns and the history of building. We had our ceremony outside and the reception inside. We ended up draping the inside for our event, which looked beautiful. The bar staff was great - our guests loved the quality of the drinks. We loved this venue and would recommend it to anyone inquiring. Ask about having an event on the rooftop - it's beautiful and recently finished.

The Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center is a wonderful and beautiful place that puts great art on display in a slightly more comfortable/laid back environment than a typical art museum. Just right for me. The statues in front alone are worth stopping for, imo. The exhibits in place right now are very cool, and the rooftop bar looks great. I'll try to visit it one of these nights :)

We visit here every year for the Festival of Trees. The building is an architectural gem in downtown Fort Myers. It is even more breathtaking in the evening when the outside artwork is lit up and casts the words onto the buildings. If you happen to be in the area during the holidays you will not want to miss the festival of trees to see all of the beautiful displays.

Having my wedding at Sydney & Berne Davis Art Center was the best decision I could have made! Melody and Stasi were beyond fantastic and the team at SBDAC were second to none. Not to mention that the venue is absolutely gorgeous! I knew I wanted a unique venue that fit our love for our city. SBDAC was the first venue that we visited, and its elegance and beauty made it difficult to picture ourselves getting married anywhere else. However, what truly made a difference was Melody. The way she stayed on top of everything was amazing. She knew what I needed before I needed it. She made the planning so easy and I felt confident in her which made for a stress-free day. Melody and Stasi make weddings look easy, especially during a pandemic! You can tell that they truly care about their couples and take pride in their work. I was able to completely enjoy my special day because of the team at Sydney & Berne and although I never plan on getting married again, I would with their help!

My partner and I chose SBDAC for our wedding reception. When none of the default wedding packages quite met our needs, the SBDAC staff worked with us to find something that did. Everything about the reception was wonderful! The upstairs gallery we held it in, the furniture, table cloths, sound system, lighting, everything! The staff were amazingly helpful. They were always on the ball and made sure we never had to do anything ourselves day of. I highly recommend the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center for your wedding and reception!

Stasi was always available and helpful through all my planning stages. She helped me tremendously in understanding how to host a night to remember! Craig was our hero the day of the party, from setting up to breaking down and everything in between, he was helpful, kind, and was on top of everything! I will definitely be looking to them for the next big event. Thank you so much for the memories!

I highly recommend the rooftop for a gorgeous view over the river and of sunset! If you are planning a party here, ask for LaDwaina to help you, she is awesome! She helped my vision come to life in many ways, and it would not have been the same without her support and kindness. Dharma also is very cool and helpful. The whole team at SBDAC is great to work with, and the venue is among the best downtown Fort Myers has to offer. Much gratitude to the LaDwaina and the crew that served us!
