Right in the Leiden city center , location is great. Food was delicious. Price depending your choice 10€ to 30€. Service was fast , staff was friendly. Recommend

Great location, really nice building with plenty of effort put into decorating well. We were in the large room at the back of the restaurant where the kitchen is, incredible ceiling and wall of beautiful plants. I ordered the vegan red carrot burger which was, without hyperbole, one of the tastiest and juiciest veggie burgers I have ever eaten, such an original combination of flavours whilst still tasting just like you hope a veggie burger would taste. It was a very busy evening but the staff were well organised and friendly and we had a great evening.

Spacious restaurant in the heart of Leiden. Food is really delicious and you have enough space when seating at the tables. Service was quick and polite. Recommending BBQ burger and soup of the day.

Came here with a friend for lunch; it's a beautiful interior and the food and service was great -- I had the beetroot burger, and I would come back again for it.

Food was very nice, I can’t say anything negative about it. I didn’t like the service though, one of the waitress put the plate to the ‘corner’ of the table and left without saying anything. Our food took 49 minutes and in the end we realised it was forgotton. This is not a problem, it can happen sometimes. But the human interaction part is important, in the end you pay for the service too.

Lovely building and very good location. The staff was really friendly and we didn't have to wait a long time to get our orders. I had the chicken saté, which was really delicious. I loved the fresh made fries. The raspberry ice tea wasn't really anything special, so not really worth the price.

We really enjoyed our time at The Waag. It is a beautiful historic building with lots of original features still in place. The service was quick and friendly, the food was tasty and hot and the atmosphere was happy. All in all a great way to meet and catch up with friends.

Weighing house turned into a nice brewery. Went there with friends for dinner and the place has a lovely atmosphere. When it comes to food, everything was delicious. We ordered few red carrot burger and groente curry and they were damn good. Highly recommend this place in Leiden and will probably visit again.

Great place, everything was very delicious and served very fast !

Stick with the appetizers. We had reservations and ate inside. It's a beautiful building and cool vibes. Appetizers were very good, including Sticky Chicken and Burrata. From there it went downhill for two of us. Burger had weird texture. Giant prawns were absolutely tasteless. So disappointing. Our son had vegetable curry and really liked it. The ginger mule had so much lime and couldn't taste any alcohol in it.

Amazing experience and amazing service. We showed up with 9 people out of nowhere, no reservations and we were very well received and taken care of. Food was great, the Waag Combo is a must. Good service. Awesome ambiance. A must when in Leiden!

A wonderful location with good food. The Salmon and the Sate was both great.

I love the environment, the food menu is not extensive but all quality offering and the interior design is really great. All in all, a great place to meet up with friends, in summer and winter.
