Upsides:
Cheap
and
relatively
clean
gym
with
a
nice
atmosphere,
friendly
staff
and
lots
of
machines.
Downsides:
Can
get
very
VERY
crowded,
the
dumbells
are
not
great,
the
barbells
are
awful
and
the
cardio
area
is
very
poorly
ventilated.
You
WILL
find
it
hard
to
breathe
when
doing
serious
cardio.
Barbells:
This
gym
really
needs
some
better
barbells.
The
current
barbells
are
not
very
grippy,
very
bendy
and
there
is
no
chalk
stand
on
top
of
that.
I
normally
do
not
use
straps
when
deadlifting,
but
if
I
do
not
use
straps
and
chalk
at
this
gym
it
constantly
feels
like
the
bar
is
slipping
out
of
my
hands
as
it
is
just
not
grippy
enough.
If
you
ask
me
then
upgrading
the
barbells
would
be
a
serious
life
improvement
for
anyone
who
lifts
weights
at
this
gym.
Cardio:
Better
ventilation
for
the
cardio
area
would
also
help.
Like
1
or
2
ventilators
over
the
cardio
area
for
some
air
circulation.
Currently,
low
intensity
or
short
duration
is
fine,
but
trying
to
do
serious
running
or
cycling
for
anything
over
30
minutes
will
be
very
uncomfortable.
I
tried
running
10k
here
once
when
it
was
storming
outside,
but
I
would
rather
run
through
the
storm
next
time.
Both
my
towel
and
myself
were
completely
soaked
in
sweat
after
30
minutes
and
I
was
constantly
gasping
for
air.
A
warming
up
or
short
cardio
session
is
fine,
but
serious
cardio
is
just
annoying.
