Maybe it was clean 6 months ago but this place has gone down hill quick. Filthy and we're inhaling it all. Please clean your walls and vents! Cobwebs across every lighting fixture. Large ones on ceilings, dust on walls and on machines. I would never let my business get this bad. Photos included from today.

Have been going here for a few months . There is a gentleman there who is the personal trainer . He comes and raises the volume the volume on the speakers while also using a boom box. I have asked him to please lower it , as I have ear bubs in my ears and can still hear it. He ignores me or give me lip . He has also made it clear to me that he brings in 10k per month in revenue so that the owner allows him to do as he wants . I asked to be let out of my contract and was told that will not happen.

Amazing place! I visited from my home in AZ, where we have a nice Anytime, but this one is even nicer! Great new equipment, amazing showers, etc Only small thing is that the woman in the front office feels the need to yell to get your attention to say 'hi' even if you have headphones in, she is meaning well I'm sure, but it's a bit jarring when you're in the 'ZONE'

Had no problem with this gym location until I moved and was no longer going to be able to go to this location. Back in June 2022, I had asked to cancel my membership. The worker at the gym told me I would be charged for the next month and then payments would stop going through. Fine. Gave him my fob and was on my way. To this day, I am still getting charged every other week and have seen charges come in weekly. Have only finally been able to get anyone on the phone recently and can’t get a straight answer on how to get the payments to stop coming through.

Very happy and impressed with the level of professionalism at this location. Ken does an excellent job of managing the location and Brandon is a phenomenal trainer. Both display great people skills, knowledge about fitness and are overall great men. Highly recommend working with both of them.

Clean, relatively un-crowded and fun gym!!! Nick the manager is friendly and good looking!!!! 24 hours a day with key fob entry so you can feel secure if working out really early/really late in the day. The best anytime fitness location in lake county 🙂

Decent gym. However the owner doesn't pay you for training when he said he was during the interview process. I had to basically clean for free bc he then ghosted me! Didn't even have the balls to tell me I wasn't hired. I contacted him about my money and he left me on read the same day.

I have not been under contract with this gym for a number of months. I was still accruing a tab for every month that had gone unpaid. I had experienced identity theft, so my debit card information was changed, hence why my payments fell behind. I called the customer service number, which was completely separate from the actual gym, and paid my past due balance. I called the gym and explained my situation, and I was told that I should still have access to facility because my membership was not canceled. That was not the case. I have since joined another gym. Policies and procedures should be uniform across all aspects of the establishment.

They have everything you need for all levels of fitness. Great place, clean and nice equipment. Only complaint is that the workout area is a bit tight, but that doesn’t prevent one from lifting.

This gym is okay if you have no other options. Poorly maintained (last I went there was a hole on the ground near the free weight area - hopefully that’s gotten fixed), but thankfully there are much better Anytime locations nearby. These guys suspended my membership in early September as they claimed that I stole merch from them on 7/22 when I haven’t gone to their location since 7/6 and they think that calling me two times in the middle of a work day and me not answering was justification to suspend my membership. Thankfully, the management at the much better run AF at Lake Bluff called them to restore my membership, as Libertyville had no proof (they didn’t even bother to check their cameras, just decided to suspend me). Their equipment is decent and like I said it’s fine enough to get a workout in, but that’s about it. EDIT: I mean yea I’ll post about it months later (September was 3 months ago, btw), same way yall decided to suspend me two months after the non-existent theft took place. Is there a timeframe requirement of which a person can leave a review after a bad experience with your gym? Lmao

Joined here about a month ago and love it! I usually go around 5:30-7 am and theres never more than 4-5 people but usually just 2 or 3. I personally love the cubbies instead of locker rooms as the locker rooms Ive experienced are usually smelly and Im always trying to weave out of people taking pictures in mirrors hahaha. For the bench press review below, the safety bars are removable so you can bench with full ROM. The hydromassage is great, bathrooms always have PLENTY of good smelling things (shoutout for having apply cinnamon glade spray in the middle bathroom ;)) and the staff is really friendly and works hard to keep the gym clean. The only con is a lot of members dont rerack weights so if you come at an unstaffed hour you might get an extra workout from reracking weights before using a machine.

I wanted to go to this gym....yet I keep calling and calling and it rings and rings i really wanted to join and get enrolled but😒 no answer just a beep!! I guess planet fitness it is !! 🤷🏻‍♀️

The vibe is non-intimidating, supportive, and fun! The instructors are skilled and hilarious and somehow make doing planks fun.

I do like it here. I've been a member for a few years now. The only thing I dislike is that the trainer's don't approach members that are doing things wrong and assist them. My background as a past trainer urges me to assist but I digress due to it not being my place or some people don't get the fact that you just want to help. It's generally always clean, most of the time there are available towels. I'm there in mornings and afternoons. It's always clean and has available cleaning(bacterial wipes) for use.

This is such a great fitness facility! People are warm and friendly, and the workouts are the perfect combination of challenging and fun. All the instructors are super helpful, engaging and friendly.
