one of the most beautiful places I‘ve ever been to! The view over Lisbon is breathtaking - especially in the evening hours and the location is lovely. A little escape in the middle of the big city. The staff was super friendly. From arriving and having our luggage carried to the room to bringing us towels to the pool. We absolutely LOVED it !

An really amazing experience at the Torel Palace. We were a large group of 40+ looking to travel to Lisbon for a long weekend. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the trip was cancelled 3 times, but the staff at the hotel were completely understanding. Numbers changed regularly, but they did everything they could do to help. Finally, we arrived in February and the hotel was everything we imagined and more. The apartment and the rooms are finished to an extremely high spec and the views are pretty spectacular. Food was delicious (excellent breakfast), bar terrace was the perfect hang-out spot and staff went above and beyond. We had a very large group and everyone had an extremely positive experience at the hotel. Many of us will be back again👍🏼

This place is amazing! We chose this place to celebrate our engagement and couldn't have been happier with the decision. We had the most unforgettable experience at Torel Palace. The views were stunning and the restaurant served the most delicious food. All of the hotel and restaurant staff were so kind. The complimentary wine and snacks in the room were fabulous and we even had a free room upgrade the second night. We will definitely be staying here again our next time in Lisbon.

I am grateful to have stayed in many hotel chains across the world however this is by far one of the most disappointing experiences. Described as a boutique hotel however facilities are dirty, service lacking and rooms are priced significantly higher than the value provided. €3000 for 3 nights is extortionate, staff are rude despite customers paying money higher than the average monthly salary of most working there. You’re better off staying somewhere else.

A beautiful, classic hotel located in the hills of Lisbon. I was lucky enough to spend my birthday weekend here courtesy of my partner. Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of bubbles and a complimentary room upgrade to a suite. The room was in a newer part of the hotel, recently renovated to an extremely high standard, it felt like absolute luxury. The beds are super comfy, easily one of the best nights sleep I’ve ever experienced in any hotel around the world, and the breakfast buffet was filled with great options clearly made with quality produce. There is a bar on site which would not be out of place in a swanky London hotel, definitely worth popping in for a night cap. The hotel is located at the top of the hill and walk down into town is pleasant however I would recommend getting cabs back up as the walk can be hard work. My partner and I agreed we will return here if we decide to visit Lisbon in the future.

A marvellous hotel with excellent staff. My girlfriend and I loved the decor and the luxurious furnishings of our room, especially the magnificent afternoon we had at the pool with the view over Lisbon. It was definitely an unforgettable stay and we will certainly return. Thank you so much Torel Palace Lisboa for making our stay in Lisbon an amazing one!

Wow, this property is an absolute dream. From booking to check out everything was easy & the team was very helpful. I wanted the "pink room" and put in a request upon booking tho I knew it couldn't be guaranteed. To my surprise, I received the pink room! Every room is beautiful and the view from the patio is unmatched in the city! The bar is beautiful, the restaurant has a lot of great options & housekeeping was lovely every day. Oh, also the included breakfast was perfect! Mimosas, coffee & water to start the day off, right! I would immediately book this property again! It's tucked away, and you really feel like you are coming home to something special every night. Great job!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Torel Palace in Lisbon, Portugal, and I cannot express enough how truly exceptional my experience was. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charm and beauty that Torel Palace exudes. The breathtaking views from the hotel are nothing short of spectacular. Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee on the terrace or winding down in the evening with a glass of wine, the panoramic views of Lisbon are absolutely mesmerizing. The picturesque scenes alone make Torel Palace a standout destination. The rooms are a true testament to luxury and sophistication. Elegantly designed with a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic charm, the attention to detail in the decor and furnishings is remarkable. Each room feels like a serene escape, creating a haven of comfort that made my stay truly unforgettable. What sets Torel Palace apart, however, is the outstanding staff. The team members are not only professional but exceptionally friendly and accommodating. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful recommendations from the concierge, every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfection. Their genuine hospitality truly enhanced the overall experience. And let's talk about the location – it's simply the best! Situated in the heart of Lisbon, Torel Palace provides easy access to the city's vibrant energy and cultural attractions. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, the convenience of the location adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your stay. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire Torel Palace team for making my visit to Lisbon truly magical. Thank you for your commitment to excellence and for creating an atmosphere that goes beyond just accommodation – it's an experience. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit and another delightful stay at Torel Palace. Highly recommended!

What a magical place! The service set the tone for such a relaxed and sophisticated hospitality experience. It's the little things that need not be mentioned which highlight the level of class. Outstanding culinary team with an epic edifice. What a joy. The bar is set high by Torel's team.

The hotel seems to be a beautiful old estate that is on a hill overlooking the city; absolutely stunning views. The service is great, wonderful staff. The food was excellent. The rooms are cute; but, at least in the pink building, the wooden floors are not soundproof and we could hear the guests above us. Also, the hotel is located next to the Elevador do Lavra. You are overlooking most of the old city, which is an impressive view; but it can be tiring (if not difficult) to get to the hotel on foot (without taking the funicular).

The best place to stay in Lisbon! We can not say enough great things about Torel Palace Lisbon! We went to Portugal for our honeymoon and our first 4 day stay was at Torel Palace in Lisbon. The place is beautiful and the staff super friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a suite with balcony and king size bed. We loved being in a more quiet area but a short walk to the action. The hotel staff were amazing and we had a great time and hope staying at the hote when in Lisbon. We highly recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking to up their game and have a beautiful hotel stay when visiting Lisbon. Glenn & Donna

Absolutely loved our stay at the Torel Palce, everything was perfect from the rooms to the location and the staff. We are already planning our next stay and would highly recommend the hotel to anybody wanting to have an amazing base whilst exploring lisbon and the surrounding areas.

Torel Palace canceled our four day stay, two days before I was supposed to stay, while we were on our honeymoon. I know they have every contractural right to do this (though I did not, my booking was non-refundable), and they canceled due to construction delays, it was frustrating that they declined to cover the difference in rate for my new hotel for my booking directly through them. I did a bunch of research to find the right hotel and booked two months in advance, when rates were lower. Scrambling to find a new hotel in popular Lisbon in two days notice is no easy feat, and obviously more expensive for a comparable room. I’m sure it’s a beautiful hotel and I wish I could have stayed there. Their booking agent was very polite. But, I think there are better ways to handle this.

We had the most amazing stay at Torel Palace recently. The staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating to some last minute requests that made our trip even more memorable. Everyone was very friendly and clearly passionate about Lisbon and the surrounding towns, and they helped us plan our trip very successfully. The hotel is incredibly stylish and the rooms very comfortable, with amazing views overlooking the city and down to the sea. We have great memories and will definitely go back one day! Thanks team Torel! Tom & Lily

We absolutely loved our stay at Torel Palace! From the moment we arrived, we were met with great service, the staff are so nice and accommodating. There's a gorgeous view from the deck where you can have drinks, and a lovely buffet breakfast in the winter garden in the morning. Our room was great, renovated with chic furniture and the comfiest bed. Location is great too, we were a short 10min walk to the city centre, restaurants and bars. We'd love to come back in the future.

A little oasis of quiet within busy Lisbon. We had a really nice room with a charming view. Interiorwise the rooms in the old house are a bit of a wild mix and technical appliances will need overhaul, but we really liked it. Very good service.

I’ve been coming to Portugal all my life and this is hands down one of the the most beautiful and lovely hotel I have stayed at. Gorgeous views, serene atmosphere, excellent service and treatment from the staff. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with old world charm and modern touches. We will definitely be staying here from now on in future visits. Thank you for taking care of us

Torel Palace Lisbon is a fantastic and beautiful hotel, well located with friendly and helpful staff. The pool and various "chill-out" areas are a godsend after a morning of exploring hilly Lisbon when hot! The only let down (hence the 4/5 rating) was the bathroom within our room where we experienced a number of issues during our stay. Whilst it didn't ruin the stay we did hope for better given the money we spent. Following conversations with the staff they did surprise us with a complimentary bottle of sparking wine which was thoughtful of them. Overall however, we would not hesitate recommending this hotel to friends or anyone reading this review.

This cute hotel is nothing short of spectacular. We arrived late for check in but everyone was so kind and welcoming. We got lucky by getting an upgrade of our room. The room was just fantastic. It has a private elevator that leads directly into the 2-bedroom apartment, with a terrace of great view. We even got a welcome drink for each of us. Everything was spotless and luxurious. The hotel also has a restaurant with great food and reasonable price. I had a delicious shrimp taco and chocolate mousse cake. The hotel also comes with a pool and really nice bar area. I will definitely come back again. If you want to book it, make sure to contact them directly and the price is usually better than other websites!

We did not have a good stay. A concierge broke one of our bags, our room was not as advertised and was basically a shoebox with leopard print walls, the AC didnt work and the room was hot, there was no bathroom door only a curtain, and on two separate occasions on the same night at 3:30am and 5:00am, someone tried to come into our room. This is not how we wanted to end our honeymoon. Unless you can afford to upgrade to - a very expensive $$$$ ‘apartment’ - this was not worth the price tag.

The bar is my favourite place to chill at night, Aperol is delicious, they bring nice snacks, the service is exquisite, humble and super friendly. Highly recommend to enjoy the most wonderful view over Lisbon, hotel pool and delicious dishes.

Hidden away at the end of a small street in Portugal is the beautiful oasis of the Torel Palace, where beautiful rooms and perfect service await you. We only stayed here for one night but next time we will make it a week. There is beautiful outdoor space to enjoy a cocktail and enjoy the great views, a small but luxuriously set pool (I think unheated) and very comfortable and quiet rooms. Breakfast was terrific and included and everyone working there performed their duties to perfection. The tiny bar is adorable and we had a great time enjoying after dinner drinks with other guests.

What a wonderful place to stay; we have just got back from Lisbon & Torel Place made the trip. The staff were very attentive & the room was very clean & comfortable with an amazing view over the city. The pool gave the added edge, it's not often you find a pool in a city. We had a mojito each afternoon by the pool before the sun went down. The hotel is on top of one of the bigger hills but the funicular to take you up is literally outside the hotel. Would love to stay there again.

What a place, from top to bottom. Characterful rooms with a warm, intimate vibe. We stayed in the penthouse which was epic, but also felt very homey. We also tried to tip the porter who refused, saying that to him what matters most is that we had a good time. A genuinely great place and one for the good memory bank for sure.
