I came to this hostel because it was well reviewed, and especially the friendly owners. Sadly that was not my experience as a guest. (When I looked more carefully the good reviews came frequently from first time reviewers - i.e not guests but staff or friends.) The rooms are very small and are crammed with people, mostly men. It’s not a comfortable place for a single female and there is no woman’s dorm. Some of the residents live here and that creates a different vibe than a purely traveler community. The general facilities are good, but i could not sleep here due to crazy loud snoring of two men in my room. After two sleepless nights I had to leave to find a more quiet place. When I asked the owners to refund me for the remaining three nights they refused and were extremely unprofessional - even calling me names! I’ve stayed in dozens of hostels and this was the worst customer service experience of any. Weekends are sold out in Lisbon and my bed was resold seconds after my departure. The lack of flexibility with regard to refunds is shortsighted. I don’t normally bother to write such negative reviews but I feel that fellow female travelers should know this place is just not suitable. I hope the owners soften their rigid attitude and become more focused on customer experience.

We had a terrible experience with this hostel. They added one bed to our dorm without informing us, even though I booked a dorm for 4 people. Some of our clothes were stolen the next day. They were "miraculously" found by the staff after we requested CCTV footage and threatened to go to the police. The staff was really rude and even called booking to cancel our reservation. If you ever go there, please put all your belongings in lockers because the rooms don't have locks and someone steals guests' items at that place on a regular basis. Be careful! There's plenty of other hostels in Lisbon that you can choose.

There are two floors. We were in the second one. There was a big kitchen, one small bathroom with a toilet and a sink and a bigger one with a toilet, sink and shower. Everything was really clean. If we had a problem we could ask the employee. The location was nice. It was like we were on the highest point of Lisbon. Furthermore there is a Lidl 8 minutes away and the sightseeing stuff is only 30-40 minutes by foot away. Also there is a balcony where you can hang you wet clothes on. Would go there again. Btw. the male employee was pretty cute.

Beautiful Hostel! The cheapest ones is also new with all the stuff perfect, the bed are comfortable the owner is so helpful and cute! The guest also are all respectful is a sort of big family and you feel at home. Also brilliant position close to the city centre and a lot of supermarket. You can enjoy and chilling in the big terrace that they have at the second floor, or take a seat in one of the two kitchen. This place is the best spot to enjoy Lisbon! I will return for sure!

Pros - The hostel was very clean and comfortable. The guy in the reception was very friendly and helpful. Cons - The hostel was on the top. Be aware that you need to climb atleast 400 meters to reach the hostel from bus stop. There was a bus stand nearby but the frequency of buses are very less. Metro station is about 800 meters from the hostel.

Nice, safe and cozy hostel well connected to the city centre by public transportation. The room was a little small, but the bathroom was spacious, bright and clean, shared within about ten people. Great place for young people.

Stayed for 4 nights, no problems besides the noice from a construction side close to the hostel, but that should be temporary and during the day anyways you are mainly not there. Owners were kind with us as we tryed to connect with them and the other guests and that should be what is a hostel for, to be social, get to know who is living with you and make new friends!

The room didn't lock and it didn't have air-conditioning - which it really needed, but over all it was a fun and comfortable stay. The bathrooms (except one of the four) are amazing and so spacious

Luis & Maya and their unsung hero Leonardo have treated me like family and Im forever grateful.A rating of 10 would not do justice for the amazing MONTH that I stayed there for. I dont generally do rating buts a defenite recommendation for any Bachelor,Couple and family visiting. A new facility with new equipment and in general a great vibe attracting great respective guests too.They are very helpful in times of need and always avaliable. Wishing this beautiful family a successful journey and I will definitely visit this hostel again. muito obrigada minha familia em lisboa
