It’s unfortunate, we really liked the place. There was a nice open area with tables and kitchen. It was a really nice common area, well decorated. The unfortunate part is that we were unable to sleep at night because of the restaurant located just below. It was a mixture of poorly insulated walls and loud restaurant which prevented us from sleeping properly. The other unfortunate part is how we informed the booking agent that we needed to check out early the following day to catch our flight home. They told us we could self checkout early morning but failed to mention anything about the potentially loud restaurant. Also, they later claimed of not being aware of the restaurant below!?? According to online research , the restaurant has been there for almost a century, c’mon guys !! The city of Lisbon should not allow rental properties above a running restaurant. They didn’t now stop until 12-1am. Book at your own risk, we wish we knew this part in advance, otherwise we never would have stayed the night in this place. Anyway, nice place, feel free to book if you don’t mind the noise and can run on little sleep.

The room was really nice, modern, super cozy and with aircon. The host, Pedro, was really flexible and he was available over the phone all the time and can dispel any of your doubts. The location was amazing, a few minutes walking from metro Avenida, in safe district and close to bunch of cool restaurants. The stay included magnificant breakfast which is available in the common kitchen anytime. 100% recommended and I'll be back definitely in the future.

Schlimmer als schlimm! Wenn ich null Sterne vergeben könnte, würde ich das. Wir haben ein Zimmer im Keller des Hauses bekommen, welches schlimmer war als was ich bis jetzt gesehen habe! Klein, stinkend, Riesen Schimmel an der Wand, Haare im Bett, Fenster zu einem dunklen Schacht ähnlichem Hof ohne Licht sehr alte & beschädigte Einrichtung, sehr kleines Doppelbett. Das Zimmer entsprach keineswegs den Bildern der Buchung. Zimmer wurde storniert. Neues Hotel gebucht. Nicht das was man sich an einem 2 Tages Trip nach Lissabon wünscht.

Reception worked with me to pay ahead of time and check in late. The studio apartment itself was as described, but lacked locks on the windows that went to the roof. This was a HUGE SAFETY CONCERN to me. My room could have been accessed by anybody in the building or that climbed up a story. On top of that, I didn’t feel comfortable walking in this neighborhood alone at night and there were people constantly yelling in the hallways. The room itself was nice. The kitchen was a huge benefit, and the bathroom was modern and clean. But be weary of safety when booking.
