I had big expectations for this place, however it was quite disappointing. I ordered 180gr Filet Mignon with a side of baked potato and a Bruschetta and the waiter did not even ask how I wanted the steak cooked. It came out very well done, to the point it was hard to even cut it. The food was average, and very expensive for its worth. I ended up paying around 45€ for the above mentioned. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the place. It’s quiet, with dim lights, and very cozy overall.

The service was very good and we didn't have to wait to be seated. Got two ribeye steaks which were ok. No seasoning whatsoever...

If you're after a proper steak in Lisbon - prices are higher than most places, and still better than most 'steak' restaurants in town.

Still one of my favourite American style steak places. Meat is diverse, good quality and well cooked. Pricing is fair compared to other showoff meat places. Cozy and family like, has bunch of things for kids to paint and draw. Service is organized, but don't sit some of the more hidden tables otherwise might be tough to get the waiters.

Wonderful restaurant! Our family had a great time here. The Manager was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had a good dinner.

Nice restaurant...food was excellent and top quality. Even the kids meals were good....very good steak house....the staff very good. Place clean and atmosphere great....i very quickly forgot i was in the shopping mall as shopping malls are mostly not an option for me to eat...

If you ever want to have a great meal when you visit Lisbon, head over to this place and choose any of the items on the menu. They are delicious! I've had the sirloin cooked to perfection and I can also recommend the salmon. Will return to try the other offerings they have.

The prime Rib Steak for two is a must for meat lovers and is well enough for two. You also get a very big bowl of salad to share. The taste of the meat was great, no sauces added and cooked to our liking. The waiters were also very helpful and nice.

Block House was a good experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my steak, a little bloody but delicious. Staff was professional, efficient and took care of business. I like a friendly atmosphere which I did not find here, but staff was not rude or ignorant of their product. Did I mention that I enjoyed my steak? 🥰

The place has a nice, very dimmed but cosy atmosphere with 3 or 4 dining rooms cleverly decorated and iluminated with small foci of warmed light. The kitchen integrates into the environment being open to the gaze of the most curious. Inside there is a self-service kind of place with pre-prepared food, salads and many other ingredients, do not be confused, it is not a self-service, employees use it to prepare your dish according to your request. The salad they serve you definitely comes from there. One can enjoy the general comfort and appreciate the meals especially people who love grilled meat. The only disadvantage is the fries served as a complement to the dish. I can't guarantee it, but I'd say these are frozen packaged potatoes. I realize some people prefer them because they're crispier, but I prefer them freshly cutted and fried for a distinct flavor. The staff are friendly and efficient. The dishes arrive relatively quickly.

Lineup was one French onion soup, followed by chicken breasts with an oven baked potato all in the company of a weissbier. But let's dig into the matter: A too thick and plasticized gratin covered an overreduced and salty onion broth with a few of the said onion presented limp and tasteless. One could only see too much fridging and microwaving into that... The main dish was returned because of a cold potato, and even if chicken medallions were not briskly dry, they lacked taste and could have far more tenderness. With a second go, a new only marginally warmer potato came with a reinforcement siding on the youghourt sauce left untouched as it was overdoing. The house offers good expectation, but kitchen staff needs to have an overall picture on what they are doing, which they really didn't have... Not returning in the near future.
