The food was nice but not mind-blowing, and the portions were small considering the price. When I asked the staff what the difference was between the wines, he said he didn’t know what they tasted like - disappointing for a place that prides themselves on being a gastroBAR. You would think that they would know more about their drinks. Seems like a very touristy place that only foreigners go to.

Nice looking place but food was just simply not good enough, especially for a place that has the bravos to name themselves a bistro bar on the signage. Menu looks interesting but when the food came out it was bland, stodgy and hugely disappointing. We actually mentioned to a server that the cheese plate had all three of the cheeses that had no flavour and she agreed but of that didn’t help us much. I’m afraid I would have to say avoid this place.

Overall a really good experience - tasty food, good environment and cozy space, friendly staff, delicious sangria. Especially recommend the Black Angus and Ceviche. Considering the "tapas" option, to share with more people, I expected more quantity on each dish.

We had a super nice dinner. The service was friendly and very courteous, the food were absolutely delicious and unique! Had a great selection of modern tapas to affordable prices. We recommend this place and will definitely come back 👍🏻

We had quite a few dishes as you can see from the photos and let me tell you that all were amazing. Pork belly was excellent!! This one of those places that you have to return.

I found this on the maps as I was looking for a tapas place in Lisbon. We didnt have any reservation but gladly we were accomodated. The food was so good, although I noticed that the choices are a bit limited. Nevertheless, all that we picked were delicious. I had a bottle of white wine as well. Favourites by far was the Portobello which was recommended to us by the staff. The croquettes were nice too. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience here. Amazing food. Good service and nice atmosphere. The only downside perhaps is the location, in order for you to get there you have to take a lot of stairs - well its Lisbon so you have to be ready for that.

Amazing experience at Tapa Bucho! We are usually very picky eaters when it comes to food and we’ve traveled around Portugal and found ‚the place to eat’! Awesome food, great service (unfortunately we don’t remember the names who served our table) but they responded to all our individual requests. The food is very fresh and tasty so we visited them twice in the same week. Obrigado dear Tapa Bucho Team! We are definitely coming back

Excellent food and service. This is my second time eating here, and it never disappoints. The plates are small and meant for sharing, which I am unfamiliar with, but I was guided by Gabi’s recommendations and had a selection of traditional Portuguese selections including pica pau and huevos rotos. I would highly recommend

Full bar. Excellent selection of mixed drinks from Europe and Latin America. Nice selt of Tapas - particularly croquettes. Our service was a bit slow.

There was a bit of a wait to get a table for 2, but it was worth it for us! The Sangria was good, and we enjoyed eating the Padron peppers, patatas bravas, and charcuterie board.

Can’t pick a favourite dish, everything we ordered was 10/10! The oxtail tacos, portobellos mushrooms, padron peppers, prawns & pork belly were what we had. Great little rooftop as well. We got seated quickly only because we arrived as a walk-in right at opening. Staff were all lovely and friendly as well. Highly recommend and would come back here!

An okay tapas bar. The food was not worth it. I would not recommend taking the ham and cheese board because there is not much to eat. The pica pau beef was hard to chew. The prawns were good. The cocktails might depend - London lux was really good, but Demon was spicy for no reason. We understood the concept, but the spice kind of hindered the taste of the cocktail. A bit expensive for what we got

The food here was amazing! and our lovely server Morghana was the best! We loved connecting with her. We highly recommend the ceviche and the Tuna tacos to start off with, the dessert Creme Catalan is a must!

This place is overrated. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing either. We shared the codfish cakes, tuna tacos, oxtail and calamari croquettes and some fried potatoes. The only dish outstanding to me among these are the tuna tacos. Please note that the portions are very small for the price though. Wine was good and our server was attentive. We went for outdoor seating which wasn’t as comfortable as I’d have liked.

Had really great dinner here. Very tasty! Particularly the chocolate cake, chicken burger, and cauliflower dish 😋

This place has beautiful cocktails 🍸 but food are not the same. Atmosphere was the other good point of this place ( I believe all Lisbon’s restaurants have the same vibes). We had a long chat with our around table which was amazing. Staff just need to pay more attention to who is not drunk as we waited 25 minutes to give order. Thanks 😊

Wide range of tapas. Everything was great. Wouldn’t go for the entrecôte though - definitely not their expertise (ordered medium-rare and got medium also the cut had a lots of fat)

Amazing food, very delicious but unfortunately the service was not good at all! We had reservations, were on time and still had to wait 40 minutes because no one felt in charge to serve us. After that the service continued to be bad. They forgot orders and seemed uninterested in their job, even though we ordered for 30€ per person. But the food was great! Nice to look at and great taste.

One of our best meals in Lisboa. Lovely setting in a lively part of town. All dishes were good. Ceviche and oxtail really stood out. Great wine and reasonably priced.
