Lovely hotel right in the center of Lisbon. Staff are so nice and helpful and will go beyond what's expected. They're also very quick to respond to messages. The rooms are very nice, they have plenty of space and are very comfortable. Also the balcony has amazing views! However, there is limited storage space and no room service. But if you order drinks at the bar they are happy for you to take them to your room to enjoy. Really recommend this hotel!

Beautiful place, very clean, in the middle of the historical part of Lisbon. The service at the reception for both check it and check out was super friendly. They have the room cleaning 🧹🧼 service everyday which is very convenient. The night sleep 💤 was really amazing, super quiet, nice bedding and great temperature. The room was pretty small with not many storage and room to put the stuff on. The shower 🚿 with a glass door is not really recommended for families. Breakfast is 14 💶 per person with a 24 hours notice that we didn't take. Overall super great experience, thank you!

I was traveling with my friend and it was our last night in Portugal. We decided to choose this hotel because of its convenient location. And we fell in love with it from the first step in! I wish we could stay longer! I adore dark interiors and Esqina did an incredible designer job to make their dark interior outstanding and chick. Room was clean with a beautiful view on a castle, breakfast was delicious. And I want to say thank you to all the ladies on reception who helped us and gave a lot of valuable advises about the city and the places. I'm sure I'll return to this place ♥️

The hotel is undergoing renovations in the front lobby but the place is still quiet and the service was great. The room was clean and the location is really convenient and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. It is on a hill though so be warned if you're taking luggage from public transportation.

I highly recommend this place. Get “Premium Double or Twin Room, City View” room if your budget allows. It’s 150% worth it. You will get to watch the beautiful city every night & make sure to bring a bottle of wine from a super market across the street. You will enjoy the taste of wine of your choice, watching the city every night. I will 100% come back here!!👍👍👍

Substandard and spurious post checkout claims Really substandard hotel, we were due to stay two days but actually left early as it was so sub par - booking a much better hotel close by. Initially we had decided to just chalk it up to a mistake on our part and a wasted night and ££ £. So didn’t state the reason for leaving a night early to reception - it’s not their fault and nothing they could do, so why ruin their day… BUT the only reason we are leaving this is because we received an email 24 hours + after we actually checked out stating that we had 'taken a cafetière' and asking to charge our bank card - which we categorically hadn’t. Seems like a poor attempt at a money grab after they know we didn’t stay the full time and checked us out a day early The good: entrance is nice; bed comfortable (see cons as to why we didn't sleep) The bad: room small but low quality, air conditioning so noisy we barely slept, shower in bedroom with zero frosting or any form of privacy Overall, just not worth it when similar priced hotels are available near by with better amenities

My husband and I just came back from a trip to Lisbon, where we stayed at the Esqina Cosmopolitan,a little gem of a hotel - well priced, near the Alfama district. The room, while small, was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see, very clean, and the bed comfortable. The best part about this hotel, however, is the staff. Carla (and Vanessa) went above and beyond to help us with our dinner reservations, sights we wanted to see, and general questions about Lisbon. Their smiles and good will made the Esqina a 5 star stay for us and we can’t wait to go back!

Tatiana, the receptionist was amazing!! She made our stay extra special and she recommended the local food and attractions which were bonus! We also met Bruno who's their bartender and he made our trip extra memorable! The drinks he made were so smooth and delicious! This hotel is very clean and has a nice view! Highly recommend to everyone!

Went to the bar two Sunday in a row. Bruno is remarkable, and his cocktails are incredible. I have had crafted mocktails once while I was on an alcoholic and sugar cleanse and crafted alcoholic ones the next time. The beauty is how Bruno creates magic and with friends it's always an amazing experience!

Very clean and very comfortable! We couldn’t have asked for a better location to explore Lisbon. The hotel is at the top of a hill and each way you walk down brings you to a different area. Quite close to Alfama which was nice. Shout out to Magda and Tatiana for the great recommendations!

I've just got back from 4 nights in Lisbon, staying at the Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge. This hotel is an absolute gem! Reasonable prices for the rooms which are spotlessly clean, large and airy with brilliant air conditioning. We also had a large bathroom with rain shower and toiletries provided. All the staff were absolutely amazing and super helpful, with the night porter being very welcoming despite us needing to be let in at 1am two days running. The location is great and only a few minutes walk from the Baixa-Chaido metro station, plus close (reasonable walking distance) to shopping and many attractions. I'll definitely stay here during my next trip to Lisbon and would recommend this to anyone looking for quality accommodation at a very reasonable price.

staff were amazing! hotel was clean (and has A/C) and location is amazing! i know this wont be the case for all the rooms BUT the room my friend and i used had “glass” shower doors - no frosting, etc so very very see through 😂 (FYI)

I have never stayed on the hotel. However, the friends that have, had a wonderful experience. Every Sunday I go to the hotel bar downstairs. I go there because the bartender, Bruno, is one of the best bartenders in the city. I don’t say that lightly. Every time I go, whether it be with my partner or my friends, he creates drinks for us that are new and different and delicious. I bring everyone I can to the bar. And just in case you get hungry the food is delicious as well. The chef is wonderful and personable, as is the rest of the staff. The only question I have is why they don’t do more marketing to get more people in the door? The venue was lovely, the food is quality, the staff is wonderful, and the drinks are amazing. If you like cocktails, don’t ignore this place.

This is the perfect location! walking distance to the city centre, to the train, I love this place. if we ever go back to lisbon we’ll stay here again. The food was amazing and staff were friendly. The rooms were clean with a beautiful view! I highly recommend.

I randomly chose this hotel as I didnt have much time to research stays in Lisbon, for the cost and location close to all the central neighborhoods, it’s great value. I like that it’s away from the louder night time partiers and could get good sleep. I was greeted by Sophia in front desk and was super warm welcome. We had laughs over how i thought i can eat pasteis da nata one week later (don’t do that, eat it when you get to your room with the complimentary bottle of porto). Overall would come back to stay here. Also Tatiana at the next door restaurant was cool bartendar to hang out and chat about Portuguese local life while I sip on Aperol Spritz.

I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel during a stopover in Lisbon. I loved the staff, the people were so friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Bruno at the bar. A very talented mixologist of Brazilian origin. He introduced me to flavors and combinations I'd never heard of before, always with kindness and attention to detail. The rooms are modern and the beds very comfortable. I really liked the showers. Beautiful terrace and location close to everything. Would recommend again. Anik from Montréal.

We had a great time at the Esquina Cosmopolitan Lodge. We were a bit concerned when we pulled up because it was between two shuttered buildings covered with graffiti. But fortunately, the hotel is very clean, the people nice, and the rooms comfortable, even if tiny. The breakfast tasted delicious, and we loved the proximity to so much to see and experience in Lisbon. We recommend it.

My wife and I recently stayed at Esqina during our Lisbon stay. Perfectly located to be able to walk to most of the sites, two public elevators within 30 second walks (once you’ve done Lisbon once you’ll know why this is such a positive). Close to lots of restaurants etc as well. Rooms are well appointed, modern and clean, well thought out and smart use of space. Staff are second to none helpful, Sofia even prepared us a two page “to-do” list which became a bit of a fun game to see how many we could tick off. Nothing was too difficult and the stay was enhanced by Sofia and the team. To round it out, the bar/bistro downstairs run by Bruno is the ideal spot for some great food and world class cocktails.

The hotel is very nice and colorful, while missing a small fridge for storing milk / wine Breakfast was very good, there was local bakery, granolas and eggs upon your request We enjoyed at the restaurant- it was nice and tasty, the waiter was very nice and offered us some spots to enjoy, he was super friendly and funny I don’t remember his name, after the chat with him we took a car and enjoyed kashkaish / aveiro / Sintra Ines - she was our favorite, we will come back for next time. 🤍 So a big thanks, I already published this hotel in an Israeli group. It was YOUR STAFF whom informed me that it was a floor above and someone couldn't get out. Maybe have a word with your staff regarding these details. It appears you are the bitter one based on your response. I suggest getting the bed bug problem resolved as this is a basic expectation from guests and hotel industry standards. Do you expect guests to write a positive review if the staff were incompetent and there is a bed bug issue. I was very excited to check out of your so called hotel as it was not a pleasant experience at all. Good luck with everything as you are really going to need it.

My wife has an excellent stay at Esqina for three nights in October 2022. The location was beautiful, the staff helpful and attentive, and the room was both comfortable and stylish. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in Lisbon.

My friend and I have stayed here for two nights and loved every minute of it. Everyone has been so kind and helpful. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were clean. The rainfall shower was fantastic with plenty of hot water. I would love to give a special shout out to Bruno Alvez, the evening bartender. He is a master behind the bar. He makes the best caipirinha I’ve ever had. He truly made our evenings special. Many thanks to Bruno!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Me and my father stayed at “Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge” and we could not be any more satisfied and we love it! It’s a rather small, five story cosy hotel with a personal atmosphere. It has everything you could wish for and more. It has a restaurant, a bar, a two story terrace, 24-hour reception, elevator, wi-fi, airport transfer and much more. The staff is very attentive, supernice and helpful. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable the air conditioning keeps the room cool and the blackout curtains keep the room dark for a good night’s sleep. The room also has a desk, a TV, a water cooker and more. The view from our room on the fifth floor was very nice with an overlook of the historical “Castelo de S. Jorge”. The breakfast was nice (the scrambled eggs and bacon was really delicious), the food was outstanding and the cocktails were really good as well. The terrace is a nice place to have a drink or coffee or just spend time relaxing or talking to each other. The location is absolutely PERFECT!! It’s only a few minute walk to the shore, to the busiest streets of the “Old Town” as well as many popular tourist attractions, historical and cultural sites and other experiences. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody!

I’m extremely impressed by the behaviour and dealing of Aldair, he is extremely great great great as a person, he is genuinely a good and kind person, he is a gem, I’m very sure he will be a very successful receptionist, he has a lot of potential. He is a great guy, a great addition to this hotel. Extremely cooperative and patient, he did my check in after midnight at 3am, I’m sorry I waked him up from sleep but I’m very thankful, I can’t forget this. . Long Live Aldair!!!

The front desk staff are very helpful, and super fun. Great location close to all of the action, but the street is very quiet. The rooms are modern and super comfortable, and my room on the 4th floor had a terrific view.

Ines at the hotel desk was the best! So very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The hotel location is superb and very walkable to historic district, Alfama, the Tagus River square area and the center downtown square. Hotel restaurant very good as well. The room we had was very comfortable, king bed , great shower and big balcony. Compared to rooms in the USA it is small but all we needed and really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend this hotel too 100%z

We booked Esqina for our honeymoon to Lisbon, it was the perfect hotel to choose! Beautiful and modern, and all staff were warm, friendly, and extremely accommodating. It’s the perfect location to access all the districts (and be able to get back quickly to cool off during the hot Lisbon days). We enjoyed hanging out on the terrace, and we had an incredible view from our window. We will only stay here next time we’re in Lisbon!

My husband and I spent several nights at this sweet hotel. The location was great, out of the busy area so very quiet, but easy to it access busy. Take a city elevator just steps away. Best of all was the most friendly, helpful, and kind hospitality from everyone that works there. 2nd best was the awesome breakfast that's included. The best of all our hotels with included breakfast in the nearly 3 months in Europe. We would defiantly return next time in Lisbon and highly recommend this fine place.
