It's a Macdonald's. This one is housed in a well cherished Lisbon modernist landmark building, Caleidoscópio, which used to house a small shopping center, of which shops only a bookstore made up to 2010. Included in the overall effort to rehabilitate the Park, the city, the University of Lisbon and McDonald's established a protocol to refurbish the Caleidoscópio building. McDonald's would finance it, and would keep 20% of the building space for its restaurant and drive through. With a wide working hours (daily 9-23h) McDonald's would help bring "eyes to the street" and boost safety in the area. The remaining part of the building functions as an academic student center. That, and the proximity to the University Campus, draws in a younger crowd to this McDonald's. There is a nice outdoor sitting area facing the garden side (although the loud pop music could be tuned down), but orders may be made to go and enjoyed elsewhere in the Park. The indoors are clean, as per McDonald's standards worldwide and has a few seats too. Human interaction is reduced to a minimum as orders are made through touch screens.

I have been there so many times (going down for a coffee it to eat while studying in the student center upstairs). Very poor Mcdonald’s it is. Bad organization. Really bad. I get that there is a lot of people, but they have a mess. They do not ever use the screens to show what order numbers are up. They only yell the numbers in Portuguese. Why? You have the screens! Just use them, come on. Also, when it is busy you cannot use the McCaffe, you come up to it and no one comes. Sometimes you wait 10 minutes for one coffee. Sometimes the coffee is already waiting, but you didn’t know, because no one called you and you get it cold. At least the place is rather clean. I think this is the only highlight. Otherwise, probably worse Mcdonald’s in Lisbon. If you don’t have to eat there, go somewhere else.

Crazy high prices for low quality fast food. Local restaurants are cheaper and much better quality. Sandwich only prices at 9 EUR or 5 EUR for a Big Mac only? Your competitor offers at least good promotions in the app with flame grilled burgers (of also doubtable quality) starting at 1 EUR.

The service very bad, it took a long time to have the order ready, when it was ready I told the guy it had taken a long time, he just stared at me and didn't say anything at all, no apology whatsoever. The croissants were good.

Great location in the middle of Campo Grande by the lake. Service was fast, it was a sunny day out and tables outside allowed for a very pleasant meal with the kids.

Cappuccino they should have served me vs the cappuccino I received, vs how they fixed it after I complained. The girl behind the counter simply said,"well, it's just a nice picture."

Cool spot around Campo Grande área attached to Jardim Mario Soares. Some tables have tablets for kids!

Ordered via uber, got charged the entire order but missing 3 sundaes. The restaurant included their receipts where they charged the sundaes. Called them to know how I can get my sundaes and there was nothing they would do. Also no ketchup came although specifically requested. No napkins.

I have noticed that on almost all branches of Mcdonald, some products like veg burger are marked permanently as sold out, which unethical. You can remove these options rather than showing sold out.

It's a McDonald's like everywhere else. Nothing to write home about. It's a pretty clean and central one tho. Really useful when you change transportation mode in Marques de Pombal.

It's a MacDonalds, but it's located in a beautiful building, inside a city park.

Very unorganized staff. Order took much longer than it should have for how busy they were. Manager was not the greatest at resolving our order issues. Store was dirty with lot of flies. Experience could have been better.

They forgot my order and nobody felt responsible to help me when I asked. I waited for 25 minutes until one employer gave me my icecream with an eyeroll. And it was alrrady half-molten.
