I can't recommend this gym enough. You'd be hard pressed to find a better place to learn & train in Fulton County. Very casual & friendly environment but still offers the best technique around.

The best place in Alpharetta and one of the top spots in the entire state of Georgia for both gi and no-gi jiu jitsu. Tony has 17 years of experience training jiu jitsu, earning his brown belt under UFC Hall of Fame martial artist Matt Serra in New York and his black belt under Renzo Gracie black belt Paul Creighton in Atlanta, added to this he has 7 years of military experience in the Air Force special forces branch, TACP. Tony perfectly blends his work ethic from both disciplines into his jiu jitsu program to fit new and long-time practitioners alike. He harbors a great environment at his school and no one feels left out nor unwelcome. I am happy to call Tony a close friend and thankful for his vast assortment of knowledge and instruction in the martial art. He truly cares about his craft and students and that is why I can't recommend Iron Horse enough to anyone stopping by or signing up.

I was in the area to see a show and dropped in for a nogi class. Everyone was very friendly and the environment was relaxed. We did a short skills session than rolled. If I lived in the area I would happily join this gym. Thank you to Richard the instructor.

I started here and I loved it. Great energy with a wide variety of skill levels. Tony is also a fantastic instructor who cares about other people in the gym and can tell he is well liked across the jiu jitsu community. You won’t regret coming here.

Beginner, started training here 9 months ago. Fantastic facility, full range of skill levels & great training partners. Detail-oriented instruction that will elevate your game quickly, regardless of your prior experience. Head Instructor & Founder, Tony, has built not just a gym but a high-level Jiu-Jitsu community comprised of humble, competent & motivated individuals. This is THE place to train if you are near the Roswell/Milton/Alpharetta area.

Came down from Lowell, MA for work and thought it would be fun to drop in and train at a local BJJ school for a day while I was here. I am really happy I did!!! Tony and his team were so warm and welcoming that it immediately felt like they were part of my own family. Tony's clear focus for the details and love of the sport were obvious from the start. No doubt this kind of positive environment has and will produce some great competitors due to its combination of effective technical instruction and warm supportive culture. If I lived in the area this would be a go to school for me and my family. Tony is a real stand up guy and I am looking forward to watching him continue to build a great school. Thanks for the class Tony!

Hands down the best place to train BJJ in Alpharetta! Tony is the best instructor when it comes to teaching beginners, intermediate, or advance level students. He is without a doubt one of the best instructors in the Metro Atlanta area. There is a reason why students from other gyms go to Iron Horse to cross train. Iron Horse offers a great environment with friendly people, atmosphere, and instruction. I can’t recommend Iron Horse enough.

😐 Since I joined in October 2019, this gym has gone down hill. I originally joined for the free weights and kickboxing class. Since the pandemic there has not been a mask mandate and nor do they social distance or limit number of members for kickboxing class. The gym is also dirty, every blue moon one...

😠 This place has become a zoo. So many rude teens and doing dumb things by the spa and pool area. The staffs at night shift should enforce the policy strictly. Also, for some reason all the friendly night shift staffs were all gone. Now they have a very unfriendly lady at the front desk. Please provid...

😠 Location is right next to where I worked so I was excited to join. I use the Peloton bikes in the back of the gym area. One month in, one of them broke. 2 weeks later, the other one broke. It’s been well over a month and no effort has been made to repair either one. I will be cancelling our family m...
