Spent an hour there before train departure. Not too busy in the Sunday afternoon. Nice beers with couple of choice. Decor inside is great. Haven’t tried the food so not sure how it is.

Beautiful building. Food unfortunately was just a slapped on burger, overcooked, all very dry, bun dry too, couldnt finish it as was hard to swallow. Asked for no tomato on one but got no tomato on both, no garnish only lettuce, no onion. Service was quick. Not up to Wetherspoons standard we have come to expect. Wish we had gone to Mcdonalds. We love Wetherspoons normally and always look for them.

Decent Liverpool Wetherspoon’s which occupies part of the ground floor of a grand building close to Lime Street Station. 7 cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I visited including a mild. The Grade II listed building was originally the North Western Hotel a 330 room establishment opened in 1871 by the London and North Western Railway to serve Lime Street Station. The hotel closed in the 1930s and remained empty until 1996 when it was converted into student accommodation and the ground floor became a public house.

Great pub in a very impressive building. And part of the Liverpool Lime Street Station. Prices as is always the case for Weatherspoon we’re very low. 2.60 for a pint of bitter. Certainly not London prices. There’s plenty of choice also with multiple bitters and lagers on draft. Was pretty busy when I was there and it was mid day on a weekday. And even then struggled to get a seat. I can imagine in the evening or weekend this place will be packed.

Disappointing from the start. Had to ask the staff to clean our table before serving our food whilst stood at table, it was filthy. Food arrived and was a Mixed Grill which was undercooked and excessively fatty, 2 thirds of it were unedible and left. I was very disappointed and wouldn't rush back to spend hard earned cash. Worst meal I've been served whilst dining out for a long time. Go somewhere else to avoid disappointment.

I enjoyed a drink of Absolut Vodka with lemonade at this station before catching my train, served quickly as was convenient! The pub has a lovely classic style and the Christmas decorations add to the feel.

Had a brill breakfast before catching my train home. An extremely handy location and fast service. I bought all of mine as extras instead of the singular full breakfast since you can't amend or change things on the app but worked out more or less the same.

Called in for a quick meal with my wife and son in October 2023, before heading to the Empire which is helpfully next door! It was extremely busy and we got the only free table. Despite this the table was wiped down and the crockery/ glasses from the previous diners was cleared quickly, by a member of the team who was clearly very bust but made time for a smile. We ordered on the app which was very easy and the food arrived very quickly. Menu was as you’d expect from a Wetherspoons, and I went for the ‘three plates for £14.93’ offer – two pizzas and a chips – and each was good in terms of size and flavour. Would recommend, and would visit again if needed a quick bite.

Solid 3. When I saw the prices for meals and beverages here, I wasn't expecting much more. It's really bland greasy, and fatty. Be aware that you will most likely have to wipe the table yourself, but in exchange you will get an inexpensive snack before your trip.

Very, busy place. First, find a table and locate your table number (gold circle on top). Next grab a food menu by the doors. Great variety...some of the flatbread looked delicious. I chose the fish and chips with peas. You order your food at the bar and pay for it there and they will need your table number. Within 5 minutes, the hot food was delivered to the table. The fish was light and hot and the batter crispy. The chips (fries) were awesome. The peas were delightful, and needed a little salt. Ordered a jack Daniels. Great lunch!

Well located inside Liverpool Limestreet station, so it's an ideal place to wait for your train. The pub is usually packed, so getting a table can be tricky. Staff are really friendly and there are a good selection of craft beers on offer.

Really handy for a quick bite to eat/drink whilst waiting for the Train (there's an entrance from the Pub straight into Lime St Station which is good). Food is good (just typical Spoons food) it's delivered quick which is great There's lots of space inside so always somewhere to sit 👍

A fantastic day. 19 of us for a family reunion on Saturday. Staff were amazing, so friendly, helpful and obliging. The place was really busy but they went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Well done and your staff deserve a hefty payrise Mr Wetherspoon. We'll definitely be back but smaller numbers next time 👌❤️

Nipped in for a quick pint while awaiting the misses. The staff member who delivered our pints was friendly. Good selection of cask ales at a very wallet friendly price. The pub felt a tad dated and tables were a bit sticky but overall a pleasant experience and will remember it's hear in the future when I am waiting at the station.

Nice addition to the station and great when there's time to burn because let's face it this is a spoons- cheap and cheerful. Not loads of space but there's a decent amount of seats. With the app you don't have to worry about moving!

The decor inside was good and was themed towards the railways as Liverpool lime street is just next door. There's loads of tables and various rooms separated by short corridors, with some tables upstairs as well. The food was really nice and the service was good.

We were recently staying at The Liner Hotel and visited here three times. On every occasion the food was good, everything was clean, ordering via the app was easy. Only ONE thing let it down, on our middle visit the server was dreadful. Our first order of drinks she had a face like thunder and put my husband’s beer down so hard she spilt it! Subsequent deliveries of food and further drinks were also delivered with a scowl. Thankfully the servers on our two other visits were fine, mostly very friendly but always pleasant.

A great classic Wetherspoons pub. There is a good selection of food and drink and all food that I ordered through the app was brought quickly and tasted good. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Really lovely pub. There is plenty of seating, spread between different sections. It is connected to Liverpool Lime Street Station which is very convenient. You can enter from the train station (no stairs) or street level (which has stairs to climb). Friendly staff. Good food. Good drink. Reasonable prices. Ordering from the app is very convenient. Restrooms are inside the pub or you can use the ones just outside the door in the station itself.

Went today ordered a cheese burger, it didn't have any cheese on it. When the guy came to ask we hadn't even had a chance to taste the food yet. Also staff need to listen to orders better ordered 2 pepsi max got 2 pepsi cherry. Lots of staff wandering around not doing much when tables could of been cleared

Worse weatherspoons I have ever been in - food cold and over cooked. Looked like child's portion manager arrogant and very unhelpful - I would give np stars if I could

I liked fast friendly service abit more expensive than other Wetherspoon probably down to the location but still reasonable. Would probably try one of the other in the city next time 👍

First time ever I had to send a breakfast back and request a new meal. The first I received was no more than lukewarm across all items with the baked beans being almost cold. The mushroom on the plate was tiny. The second breakfast was much better, it was hot and the mushroom ok but could have been larger. The free refills of tea, coffee, hot chocolate is a good touch by the chain.

Definitely one of the largest Spoons I've ever been in, place is absolutely massive! Surprisingly nice for one right next to a train station. Ideal for popping in to have breakfast before catching the train home after a weekend away. Surprising amount of people in here on Monday morning.

Beautiful old railway lounges with usual wetherspoons food and drinks. A great place to wait for your train. We liked the free to refill hot drinks. Staff friendly and helpful.

Ordered mixed grill, probably the last mixed grill I'll ever have in me life. Alright, the chips, the peas and the sausage were nice. The rest, I wouldn't even give to me dog. On the app, it didn't give me the option to pick how I want my steak, it come, black. I actually attempted it, it was that chewy; without removing it from my mouth, I would've been here until next week. The gamman, taste nothing but charcoal. The actual taste of grill was in my taste buds. Well, I carried on eating as much as I could considering the price I paid for it, but to be honest I'd rather not bother again. I'm so glad a waiter never asked how it was, I would've told them to try it. I actually like weatherspoons, I think they deal with busy situations fantastic. The food came quick, although it did feel like it was forgotten about on the grill still cooking since lunch time. Anyway, I'd never get it again and wouldn't recommend it as you can't chose how you want your food cooked.

Nice place for a bite to eat or a drink. Food is very good and the unlimited hot drinks is great to. Always seems steady but not too busy to be queuing too long.
