This hotel was very nice and affordable. It is just down the street from the busy main area of Rio Dulce. Everything was clean, and the AC worked well too. The staff was the NICEST! They told us all about the boat ride to Livingston, and about the castle. They explained the best places to go, when things open and close and were very helpful.

We just checked in and I feel very unwelcome. Our balcony has the laundry and people barely greet us when coming into the Chambers.

Nice little family owned hotel off the beaten path. You can choose between rooms with only a fan, or one with AC. Choose the AC cause you're in the tropical lowlands and it's HOT. They even have their own little restaurant on site. Good food, friendly staff. My room with AC was about $25USD. Unless you need immense creature comforts, this hotel is a great place to stay.

We were kind of coercively led to this place by a local who aprouched our group. Fortunetly we only spent one night. The place is very shabby and overpriced. It does give off the naturey vibe but it really is in terrible shape. The walls are like carboard, you can everything going on next door! The sheets barely covered the matress and looked dirty. My sister later complained about bug bites. The worst part was the shower. It had only luke warm water which wasn't bad but it flooded the bathroom and even our room. After we showered there was a huge puddle of water and no towels to clean the mess up. I give this place one star because they had a cute little friendly cat to play with (they did not want the cat their).

Good location, good services, rooms are small but will work on an emergency
