The entrance fee is 30GTQ including one drink (beer, soft drink or coconut). The beach is fairly clean though the ocean was not as blue as I imagined.

Nice, clean beach. The entry fee is 30Q per person, and it includes beer/coconut/soda so it's fair because the facilities are good and the beach is long so even with many people it doesn't feel crowded. If you plan to visit any other country with nice beaches, this place is not a must visit at all, as you will easily find there better ones. But, if you're only in Guatemala or crave a dip in the Caribbean, this place will do the job.

Beautiful beach. Only way to arrive is by boat. Water was warm, since it had rained, the water was a bit murky, but we still enjoyed it. There’s a couple stands that sell drinks and snacks, but don’t expect to have a large meal there.

The beach is really nice and well organized. Dhrinks are pricier than the rest of the area. Food is great, like anywhere else in Guatemala. Water is not clear and you will probably see a lot of plastics. My friends and I spent around 30 minutes colecting it so it would be nice if you would do the same. Other people joined us. It's good for the environment. Overall, it's worth it to go.

You can sleep here! They have 2 bungalows and 3 tents. We really recommend this experience. At 3pm everybody leaves and you have the beach just for yourself. The cabin are rustic and very nice, the bed comfy. The beach is Beautiful, very well taken care of, it looks like a garden, full of hammocks, chairs and everything you need to be comfortable. The staff is really nice and help you in what you need. And you can pay in credits card, a plus in the region.

Took a day trip from Banana Palms in Rio Dulce. The front desk recommended a boat guide by the name of Danilo and we couldn't have been more pleased. Super nice man that brought along his son, teaching him how to guide. The boat was very sound and clean. Life vests were available and the boat was shaded. Do yourselves a favor and make a day out of Playa Blanca. It's magical. It is 30 quetzales ($4.50 usd) per person and well worth it. They serve drinks there and we heard that it was hit and miss if food was available so we brought snacks. We saw families with coolers. Very gentle waves and the water was warm even in February. I wish we could have stayed longer but there was a thunderstorm rolling in.

Beach was nice. Employees work hard to keep it clean and customer service is good. The only thing is that is not cristal clear water but this might he due to it being the rainy season.

Beautiful white sand beach very touristy with drinks available and fresh coconut to drink from. We took a boat ride from Rio Dulce to Livingston overnight and then the boat brought us to Playa Blanca the next day. As with everything in Guatemala, make sure the price for everything is negotiated first before you do anything! Restroom was environmentally friendly and such a cool idea.

This is a great tourist attraction to visit and to spend some time to relax on the beach or in the sea. This is the second time that I have visited la playa blanca. I wish that there were more things to do here.

Secluded Beach you can only reach by boat. We rented a jetski and arrived at 930am. It was empty and super clean. They offer drinks and food at very reasonable prices. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area

Day trip from Rio Dulce by hired private boat. 2 hours. Public boat also available from Livingstone pier. I ordered shrimp at the only beach bar/restaurant. Great service from the staff. It was delicious. Spent a couple of hours at the beach. Great massages and cheap. 2 hour return to Rio Dulce.

Wow. It is so very beautiful and peaceful. Not a ton of tourists. It was a bit of a long boat trip from Livingston to get there. But it's definitely worth it.

This is such an awesome place. It is a place to go and relax and just enjoy your "me" time. They have cabins you can rent and stay overnight. If you are taking one of those toured trips, spend more time in this place. Don't waste your time trying to go to Livingston. It is a very horrible place. The waters at Playa Blanca were not so clear, unfortunately, maybe because of the constant storms they were having in the area. SPECIAL THANKS TO NAUM FOR HIS HOSPITALITY!! I hope I got your name right. Oh, the drinks are amazing. They are not stingy with the alcohol. Love the place. I am ready to go back.

Our Guatemalan grandkids LOVED the beach. It was well maintained and had LOTS of photo op stuff set up. Shaded picnic area is super close to beach so kids could play while we relaxed in hammocks and chairs. 20Q entrance included 1 free drink. Sodas, beer, water, and cocktails as well as snacks were available for purchase. Ice chests are allowed. However, if you are expecting WHITE sand like in Belize and Honduras, you will be disappointed. It was more like an artificial beach at a lake in Arkansas but with salt water. Water was not clear so no snorkeling. No waves, more like Bayside waves. For us it was great because our grands got to see another part if their own country.
