This is one of these delightful hotels in Holland, whereby you feel continuously pampered by the super friendly staff. Where you can eat really delicious food with a large choice and variety. It is not a cold, super modern hotel, but one that fits like a warm coat, with just the right combination of nostalgia, modern comfort and fits the surrounding perfectly. Wander around in the old city of Lochem and you sense why this hotel is perfectly suited for anyone who appreciates the finer details of living. For me this is the top-hotel in Holland, warm and cosy and one long enjoyment to stay.

Located in Lochem and nearby to many or the agricultural processing and support businesses, this is a passable hotel. The service is good but hotel property is show age. Like most small city hotels in the Netherlands there is no air conditioning, but there is a small indoor pool. Located within 10 minutes walk from center of Lochem, many restaurants, cafes and bars are nearby. The restaurant in the hotel is fairly pricey (14€ for a burger) so the nearby restaurants give plenty of alternatives. Ideal for a business trip, this hotel is OK for a short weekend. There are better situatated country hotels with more charm in nearby Burchem.

Good coffe, the best in North of Netherlands. I had drink more coffee, and this is the best, with color, smell and terrific taste.

Beds are old and very soft, not comfortable. Place is bit outdated. Staff is very friendly!
