Slayed the day away, the only problem was the bits of pastry on the checkout thingy

Sainsbury's (Hayes Station Approach) is a very convenient store to grab your snack and drink on the go. Self service tills are available. The display is ok. Moreover, it is easy to walk to this store from Hayes train station.

Prices expensive. Was given the opportunity to give feedback when I was given the receipt. Could not do because the Store No and transaction no was not or did not appear to be on my receipts. Visited again and the service by the staff there was aweful. I walked away and purchased nothing.

Awful local shop only used as a necessity. Understaffed by people who largely communicate in some Asian language. Staff not representative of the local community. They push you towards self service tills as the main counter is permanently empty. Why do I need to be told that the self service counters are available, I shouldn't have to explain myself to a company and staff that aren't doing their job properly

I tried to return an item bought from argos, and was collected from another Sainsbury's store. The staff member claimed that it is not possible as the item was not collected from this store. This is in clear contrast to argos website, which clearly states that items can be returned to any sainsbury's collection points, even if they were home- delivered. The staff member did not even entertain the idea that he might be wrong, and refused to return it. I had to drive to another Sainsbury's store (different from where I collected the item) and return it without any issue.

I'm pretty sure that no one does inventory check to see if items are actually available. I order 12 items and 9 of them are out of stock, how on earth is it this unorganised, is the manager trusting the supervisor and is the supervisor trusting a new person and that new person is probably trusting he's ignore it and it will go away strategy! Jeez 🙄

Getting fed up of going in here and having to ask a member of staff to serve me because there’s never any one on the main till. If I didn’t ask someone god knows how long I’d be waiting before one of the (mostly) dopey staff noticed I was there!!!

Attrocious service, slow, long queues, staff don't seem to know what an ID looks like beyond a driver's license, very rude staff and they talk too much and get upset if you're just there to go in and get out. Products sold past expiry date, greedy - hide the plastic forks behind one of the outdated human operated tills as if someone's out to steal them all (oh the horror!) and give no indication of it. Don't come here. This might be the worst supermarket in Zone 5 after the Iceland just across the road from this one and that's saying a lot.
