Lovely pub by the river - excellent beer selection plus burger kiosk. It had a spacious outdoor seating area but gets very crowded. Great place to hang with mates or take a date. Because it’s busy and bustling the tables can be a bit messy.

What a lovely pub! It’s super cosy and the service was fantastic. I loved the food. I ordered the trout and it was cooked perfectly - full of flavour. The views are nice and there were heated booths if you want to sit outside in the chilly nights. Reasonable prices for food and drinks.

Good Young's pub close to the South end of Wandsworth Bridge. Four cask beers - and one cider - on handpump when I last visited. Loads of outdoor, seating, much overlooking the river, most of it covered.

stopped off for lunch here very very busy and hot. Staff pleasant and always busy. I ordered a meal and asked especially make sure there's no peas ( can't stand them), the meal looked gorgeous till I dug down the bottom filled with bloody peas when I asked for the same again this time with no peas they couldn't do it as this was how the meals came in. So that told me nothing was fresh Shane was so looking forward to the pie. they then made a mistake on the drinks order and meal order I ended up having to pay more . Shame I ended up getting something I didn't actually want but I was now really hungry. Ordered the ship burger 🍔 never again absolutely no flavour left most of it didn't even stay for dessert was thinking about going to the macdonalds next door . Won't be back unless really hungry or need the loo.

For years, I've frequented this pub, and it's an absolute gem. Situated by the river, the location offers stunning views and a vast outdoor area perfect for dining and unwinding. There's a burger bar and another bar outside, which is especially enjoyable during good weather. Inside, you'll find a cozy fireplace and a spacious restaurant area. Keep in mind that it gets quite popular on weekends. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the concrete-making facility nearby.

Such a brilliantly situated pub sitting by the river Thames, which brings a pure summer vibe with the outdoor bars and food stools.. The drinks went down especially well being sat by the river and in the sun, the atmosphere would be hard match in London with only a few that could challenge it.. The customer service was special, with smiles upon smiles on everyone's face including the security's.. 5* Would recommend on an overall amazing experience 👍🏼

Sunday roast was a good portion, Yorkshire pudding was nice and the mash underneath the beef. The beef cut wasn’t the best. Overall I enjoyed the pub roast, of course doesn’t beat a home roast but it’s convenient. The seating outside felt you were practically sitting on top of your neighbour. Way too close to too many people even for pre covid days, especially now, food establishments should be more responsible and at least have a reasonable distance between customers/diners. However, inside I’m sure is fine.

A solid pub on the bank of the Thames you can really settle in for the day or night. A good selection of spirits, pints, and holiday specials to keep you happy. The menu has all the British classics and the roasts make any Sunday. So relax inside or outside looking out over the river and enjoy your time rain or shine.

It was a lovely experience, the customer service was top notch with a friendly staff mix. The food was definitely amazing as my friends and I ordered some for her birthday celebration. The drinks are strong and worth the price. My favourite days are definitely Saturday and Sunday because of the live DJ .

We found our new favourite pub for dinner. So difficult to find a good pub in London with a good menu and environment. There is some great seating outside for river side drinks and bar food and then inside a freak nice charm for a sit down meal with the family. Every dish was done well and the staff were helpful with any changes or requests.

Came here for a quick bite on a weeknight. Food was tasty, would definitely come back in the summer to enjoy the view outside.

Great riverside atmosphere. Absolutely recommend at summer time when the the terrace facing the riverside is brilliantly enjoyable. Drinks a bit pricey; pints at 7, spritzs at 12... But the atmosphere is worth it!

The burger patties used to be bigger but it's still delicious! On the pricey side though. Tables on the deck are crammed so if you want your covid-free space choose a different place! The view lovely as always..

The Ship never disappoints with food. I had Leek and Chicken Pie which was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. They are very welcoming to dogs and make no fuss about where they sit.

A lovely pub with great space and lots of different areas. Was well heated in the outside area and blankets are provided. Just extremely shocked that a mulled wine knocked us back by over 11 quid. Seems extortionate?! Must be a stunning venue in summer.

Nice pub. Service wasn't great when we went but they might have had an off day. Guinness wasn't great either.. Lovely looking pub though. Will be back to try it again.

I've heard of this pub for a few years now so I decided to see what all the fuss and hype was about. The Ship is absolutely massive and it was so busy it was unreal. I thought it would be a nightmare to order a drink but a path opened like Moses parting the red sea so I was able to order a drink really quickly. I'm not keen on outdoor spaces but the atmosphere was great so I spent a few hours enjoying the scenery and my Guinness. The crowd is quite interesting. I've never been to Glastonbury but it did feel quite bourgeois, Notting hill, horse riding, "I spend my summer in the south of France" type people 😁 The staff are fabulous, I can't tell you how big the space is but the staff constantly clean all areas, they're very quick in delivering your orders, they have a smile on their face. Whatever you're paying them, it's not enough, they are great 🤗

Great service, really good food. They had a kids menu as well so that was a plus. Definitely worth a visit.

I had a lovely evening with friends at The Ship on Saturday evening. We sat outside. It was so cozy. The decor made me feel like I was in a ski resort. Love the addition of the fire pit. The team was friendly and attentive and the food was great.

I came for the sip and paint party and have to say it was amazing! The mulled wine and gin were delicious. The offer said it came with mince pies, but they had even thought about gluten free people, like me, and offered some gluten free brownies as well. The staff were so brilliant, I got home and instantly booked for the wreath making.

The Ship is the best on the river pub in London. Catering for any taste and a superb cuisine from fast food to gastro dining. I've been going there when in the area since 1984. I love the fact that it's still by the cement works. It's unique location tells us that this is not the only unique aspect to this fantastic eating, drinking and all round community venue. You'll not be disappointed and it still has its Victorian pub building as its core. Wonderful and TOP DRAWER.

Good pub in two halves -traditional at the back and more modern extension at the front. Big outdoor drink8ng area that's popular on a sunny day.

Popped in for an impromptu lunch. Great cod and chips and fillet steak served with a delicious sauce on the side. Service could not have been more welcoming

Ideally situated at the side of the River Thames and less than 10 minutes walk from Wandsworth Town railway station. The pub is part of a chain (Young's) and there are several pubs belonging to the same chain in the same locality. Foodwise service was good however if you've visited any of their other pubs you'll quickly recognise many of the dishes as there seems to be a fair degree of duplication. That said it's no bad thing. Well worth a visit especially if you can secure a place in the beer garden as you'll be able to enjoy views both up and down the Thames. Update I'm pleased to see a new menu albeit some of the old stalwarts are still there. A good experience.

Great atmosphere at this pub, if you are looking for a fun night and good views of the river this is the place to go. It gets busy so try and book if you can. Good selection of beers.

This is a great venue! I went there to watch the 6Ntions with some friends, and we had an awesome time. There is a great selection of the beers, and food is pretty good too. Staff were all friendly. Only negative for me was it was very very busy, which meant that getting to the toilets was difficult, as there were a lot of people to push through to get there. On the whole, a great day and I would go again.

Very nice place. Fresh new look and well presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of seats, inside, outside with and without shade. The food was delicious and drinks on par. Not too much variety on food but drinks galore. Great place to visit with friends, family or partner. Advise to book on the weekends.

Loved the vibes at The Ship! Lots of seating for big groups inside and outside. Food was lovely and a nice variety of drinks (I must add the Guinness was the best I've had during my 2 months in London)! My date also loved it and we'll definitely be back - thank you!

The location is obviously one of its attractions. Food from burger bar is good and filling, but need to order fries separately if you are hungry. Lots of customers go to the burger bar to order food, only to be told to order from bar. Cook looked a little board with repeatedly saying this. So why no sign? Beer well kept and reasonable selection.

Food was amazing today and so was the service. Well done the Ship! Your serving staff did you proud today and made our experience and the cost of lunch worth every penny! The young guy that served us and accommodated us to move table because we were cold is exceptional in customer service. He was polite, friendly and knowledgeable of the venue and menu and ensured the table was cleaned first without having to ask . If only more places had servers like this! So often I go out and spend a lot of money I feel I've worked hard for and wasted because of poor service! For that reason we will be back. Chicken Kiev was delicious. Desserts were outstanding. Great range of rosé wines and nice crowd. White horse in comparison last night was appalling. Thank you The Ship!

Youngs pub & beer kept well - great start. Food was tasty and whilst there was a problem with the meal the team responded so helpfully. Cool wood burner by the bar too. Will be back

I recently visited The Ship and had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff greeted us with a smile and made us feel right at home. We decided to try the whisky sours, which were recommended to us, and they did not disappoint. The balance of flavors was perfect, and they were incredibly refreshing. It was evident that the bartenders took pride in their craft. For dinner, we were pleasantly surprised by the level of knowledge and attentiveness of the staff. I have a food allergy, and they handled it with utmost care and professionalism. They were able to provide me with suitable options and ensured that my meal was prepared safely. This attention to detail made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food itself was delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the game pie and the The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion sizes were generous Overall, our experience at The Ship was exceptional. The combination of great drinks, delicious food, and attentive staff made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a fantastic dining and drinking experience.
