I recently had a pleasure of visiting a quiet and serene pub on a Sunday afternoon and had a delightful experience. What really stood out to me was an exceptional service provided by the server Selma. From the moment I walked in, Selma greeted me with a welcoming smile and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Her kindness and warmth has truly made my visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this pub and especially Selma as your server. Her professionalism and attentiveness were top-notch. I look forward to coming back again and again, especially for a relaxing glass after a long day at work. Overall, this pub is a great spot to unwind and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere

Delicious fish & chips (had to order twice during my stay). Generous succulent, earthy Camembert appetizer warmed to perfection. Friendly staff. Perfect warm welcoming pub to catch a futbol match on large screens. Conveniently located in quiet Bloomsbury. Bonus: attached to hotel if staying overnight.

The service from all the staff was fantastic. A big hats off to Temi, who was friendly, attentive and went out of her way to help us. When we found out she was still a trainee and only been in the job for 2 weeks, we were blown away. This young ladies attitude and work ethic beats many in the industry. She is a credit to the pub and the company and we wish her all the luck in her future career. We had nachos and wing sharers and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality. The place is well worth visiting!!!

Of the few times I've ventured in here, I have to say it's been quite relaxing and I've always enjoyed my pint(s) in this pub. It has a good atmosphere, few big screens to watch the footy and you'll always bump into some interesting friendly characters from all over the City and sometimes even further afar. The reason I've given this pub a 3/5 for food is because the only time I ordered food here I got a burger and chips and it wasn't very nice, certainly fell short of my expectations put it that way. I'll defo visit again and hopefully the food might be better.

Callaghan’s offers you a great choice of food at great prices. Don’t go further, book your experience and leave your dinner organisation in the capable hands of manager Florin. A great partner to work with 👍

I recently visited Callaghans bar on a Friday night for their live music event and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service provided by our waitress Selma. Selma was attentive, helpful, and always had a smile on her face. She made sure our table was comfortable, our drinks were filled, and our food was served promptly. She also had great recommendations for food and drinks based on our preferences. The live music event was also an enjoyable experience. The quality of the music was great and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The bar had a great selection of drinks on offer, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, I had a fantastic evening at Callaghans bar and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night out. And, of course, Selma's excellent service made it even more enjoyable.

We stumbled across Callahans when looking for drink and nibbles. What a lovely refreshing experience. We had a simple nibble of sharing nachos and wings along with some enjoyable cocktails. As nice as the food was it was the service that stood out for us. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, there was one young lady that stoid out for us. Temi was our initial server, she was interested why we were visiting, listened to us and went out of her way to get us a map with attractions and gave us some of her own suggestions. After chatting with her we discovered this young lady had only been working here for 2 weeks and it was her first job! My god with a work ethic and high standard of service at a young age Callahans are privileged she is working for them. Thank you

Wow. I truly had an incredible experience here at Callaghans. A real hidden gem. I walked into 5-6 pubs to find a seat to watch the Liverpool vs Man City match, all with no luck. The bartenders even told me I wouldn’t find a place to sit. I wouldn’t accept that. Off we went to Callaghan’s, with 2 minutes to kickoff. A last ditch effort. Sure enough, there was tons of space to lounge in comfortable chairs and watch the game from multiple screens. A small crowd (thankfully all Liverpool fans) made this a truly special and memorable experience. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious crisp pints. And a beautiful football match. Plus the onion rings were delicious.

I visited a peaceful and serene pub on Sunday afternoon and had a delightful time. The highlight of my experience was the warm and friendly service provided by Selma, the waitress. She greeted me with a gracious smile and made me feel welcome. I intend to make it a daily routine to unwind with a refreshing glass of beer at this charming pub after work. Highly recommended!

Service was terrible. Waited forever to even just get silverware which came AFTER the main course was served, which came BEFORE the starter we ordered! Ate here for convenience to the hotel, but not worth it. Food tasted like it was a microwave dinner. Better to go to the quickie mart down the street and pick up some sandwiches with a whole less attitude and screw ups from staff. Do better.

We had some very nice evenings at Callaghan's. Gunay was a great guy to talk to and with the recommendations he gave. having excellent beers, delicious food and the opportunity to watch NFL games on the big screen was great.

The prices they charge you are not what's on the menu. One glass of pinot wine should have been £7 15 but I was given a receipt for £7 43 but they took £8.20 off my bank account The 2nd glass I had I had with a so called portion of chips There were about a dozen skinny chips in a tiny bowl and was charged £14 58!!!What a fiddle it all was. Don't go here the staff are overcharging and giving you an actual receipt but taking more out of your bank account and this was to sit outside!

Holiday Inn London - Bloomsbury, an IHG Hotel London staff was rude, terrible customer service We visited callghan's bar in Saturday for dinner, we were 3 people and sat in the corner table, where we ordered food and drinks from our table. The food all came out at different times . I sent my food back twice as it was cold which still didn't come out hot. Our food came before we had cutlery and that took ages to get for us. When we try spoke to the waiter badge says" harun"about the food NO SMILE came to us did not care he said 'I have had a long day, so whatever emotion all over his face ' this is when we paid up and left. Avoid this pub, the food and drink was overpriced and the service was atrocious. "terrible terrible terrible"

Visited on a Friday night, they insisted on table service and added 10% service charge. Most of our group agreed that the beers didn't taste right and we weren't sure that we had received the right product. There are much better pubs in Bloomsbury, go elsewhere.

Really bad experience eating here; specially since we are guests at the hotel. We were ignored from the beginning by the staff and even had to get our own drinks from the bar OURSELVES!!! Ordered an appetizer which came after the main course was brought. Had to wait for forks and knives and napkins as the food was getting cold. The only time the staff checked on us was to see if we wanted the exaggerated overpriced horrible service bill of almost $100 pounds. Very disappointed; worse dining experience in our holiday visit to London. Learn how take care of your customers properly. Never eating here again.

Chicken wings are delicious and Ollie is a STAR. Great place to watch sports events or just chill out after a hard day work. Big terrace, plenty of space for smokers, close to Russel Square Underground. Beers are cold, food is nice and staff is friendly and wellcoming. Great place 🙂

So in love with the place and I had such an amazing time this past weekend. I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The beautiful terrace and stunning weather were breathtaking. And specially Selma, our hostess, who provided us with brilliant recommendations and exceptional services throughout our visit. She made our experience even more memorable. Overall, Callaghan is a must-visit spot for. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. Certainly coming back.

I came to Callahans bar, to have some dinner. The food was amazing. My waitress Tania was very kind, and made sure I was looked after. It’s unbelievable how she’s been working there for a short period of time . Her professionalism really showed. I hope she goes far in life
