This
first
time
visiting
“the
Hatton”
pub,
arrived
around
4
on
a
Friday
night
to
meet
up
for
a
drink
with
work
friends
from
far
and
wide,
the
pub
was
quiet
to
start
with
so
drinks
were
easy
to
get
at
the
bar,
their
was
a
large
works
Christmas
party
that
turned
up
later
this
meant
the
bar
became
incredibly
busy,
the
bar
staff
were
working
really
hard
to
get
to
everyone
but
it
was
slow
but
nothing
they
could
do
the
staff
were
working
really
hard
to
get
to
everyone
as
quickly
as
possible.
The
atmosphere
was
buzzing
in
there
that
Friday,
with
lots
of
laughter
and
everyone
being
friendly
and
enjoying
their
night
out,
the
seating
area
out
the
front
of
the
pub
was
large
mostly
undercover
and
would
be
a
great
place
to
enjoy
a
drink
or
food.
I
personally
didn't
eat
there
but
the
food
did
look
very
nice.
The
downstairs
bar
was
also
booked
out
for
a
Christmas
function
so
didn't
have
the
chance
to
go
in
there
but
that
looked
nice.
Will
definitely
be
making
this
a
venue
for
another
drink.
Being
in
the
print,
hence
why
I
chose
the
Hatton
a
few
of
the
older
guys
remember
the
pub
being
built
so
there
was
lots
of
talk
about
how
it
used
to
be
a
department
store
before,
the
printers
and
engineering
staff
if
the
print
didn't
really
go
in
the
Hatton
as
they
didn't
like
them
wearing
their
overalls
in
there😂.
Still
great
pub
did
get
loud
in
there
towards
the
end
but
this
all
added
to
the
atmosphere
