Very sweet little cafe. Independently owned and the locals love it. Fantastic coffee, lovely pastries and great bites. Home made cakes!!! The lady behind the bar is so kind and knowledgeable(sia?). They dont have a ton of alternatives for dietary needs as it's a small establishment but the coffee... Wow - they understand the roasts and blends. They will take care to warn you of the effects of skinny red milk on coffee flavour - this is the real deal.

I’m so glad I found this adorable place. The coffee is absolutely the best in the area, they have all the vegan options and a very good selection of cakes and pastries. And the people running the cafe are always so warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience incredible. Strongly recommend, especially if you want to show some support for an independent, local business.

They don't have any milk alternative apart from oat milk which is a bit of a bummer. The place itself is rather tiny and it's noisy in there so definitely not ideal if you're hoping to read a book or get some work done. The decor's nice enough, though, and the gentleman offered us free pastries when he closed the cafe. (They closed at 4 pm instead of 6 pm as stated above.)

Best coffee experience ever! I've been living in the area over 6 years and when these great, smiley guys (Sia and Theodore) took over this coffee-addictive nest, I've been a regular ever since. Excellent service by both Theodore and Sia, who always welcome you with a big smile and warmth and who are, by far, some of the best baristas I have ever come across in London! Coffee is fragrant, flavoursome and refined. Highly recommended for the ultimate coffee (& pastry) experience !👍👍👍

Cup tales is my favorite place in Bowes Park. The cappuccinos are consistently perfect and I consider them a daily treat. I'm VERY picky about my coffee, but they've got it just right. I write there almost every day and Emmanuel and Evita are so kind and welcoming. They also make the best salads for lunch. LOVE this place!

This really is a little diamond nestling in the surprisingly active Myddleton Rd. Sia and Theo as hosts are super friendly and 2 visits makes you a local. The coffee is superb, grub's not bad either. Don't tell anyone. Only those worthy of peace, coffee and reverie should know.

The place looks cute and the staff are nice, but unfortunately the coffee was bad and it was all served in takeaway cups, despite staying in.

Cuptales is a gem. Sia - the owner - makes a great coffee and also makes everyone feel welcome. This is a go-to place in north London.

Pretty cozy place, staff is very nice and polite. Loved the coffee and pastries, the twisted spinach + feta cheese pie is the best!

The best cafe in Myddleton Road, they have a good selection of pastries and sandwiches as well as any drink you can expect from a cafe. The regular workers there are always delightfully friendly

The loveliest place for coffee, cakes and chats. The coffee is delicious, as are the homemade cakes and treats. The service is always spot on - Sia is warm, friendly and welcoming - is always smiling - and seems to be able to remember everyone's orders! We love going to Cup Tales for our morning coffee - it makes our morning!
