Beware of booking with Best Western Chiswick Palace. After our flight was cancelled out of London, we scrambled to book accommodation for the weekend. Through Hotels.com, we attempted to book on a phone while in transit with spotty internet. After hitting confirm we realized the calendar dates had jumped by two weeks. Upon realizing the mistake we immediately contacted both Hotels.com and Best Western Chiswick to attempt to correct the error and move the dates to the upcoming weekend. Best Western no longer had both weekend days available and refused to refund our booking. They cited their no refund policy. I understand why these policies are often in place - people cancel last minute and the hotel would lose out by not being able to rebook the room. In this case our booking was more than two weeks out, we contacted them immediately (the booking didn't exist 30 minutes earlier), and there would have been ample opportunity to rebook the room. They wouldn't even offer a compromise - perhaps meeting us in the middle and refunding only one of the nights. Regardless of their policy there is always flexibility for decent and good customer service given an honest mistake. It made a particularly stressful travel situation worse. Given our interaction with, and inflexibility of Best Western Chiswick Palace, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Stayed 27th July - 10th Aug Great location.. public transport very convenient and within the vicinity of the hotel.. lot of food options around too.. More of a budget hotel since most guests are corporate customers. Our room was just perfect for us.. Enough space for everything in our luggage.. Housekeeping was good.. with daily cleaning.. Ironing facility available on 2nd floor.. No room service available.. Laundry service not available but laundromat few blocks away.. Overall, a good hotel and nice neighborhood..

Sehr alte, doch recht saubere Zimmer. Überschaubares Frühstücksbuffet. Freundliches Personal. Perfekte Lage mit sämtlichen Einkaufs- und Essmöglichkeiten. Allerdings durch diese Hauptstraße sehr laut

The staffnis very friendly . I found the room extremely tiny . I paid for double room and thre is no space to open one suitcase. Toilet is tiny. Clean rooms and bathroom. Great breakfast. Lot of restaurants arounds . Two underground stations on both sides 5 mins walk .

Great location and not too expensive but the rooms are small, beds are uncomfortable and the rooms are not in good condition. In our room the toilet bowl was cracked, the bathroom cabinet doors were rotting, the shower leaked into the bedroom causing a damp patch on the carpet and the kettle didn't work in the wall holder, though a separate base was supplied. There is also no proper bar, so reception suggested we went elsewhere for a drink. Does have a (small) car park at ÂŁ12 per day which is a bonus. You get what you pay for, so if you are happy with mediocre quality for a reasonable price then go for it.

Was good for 1 night. Clean room, although a couple of stains on the carpet. Could be a bit refreshed, taking into consideration the price, but not too bad. I was able to turn the heater, which was very helpful, as it was cold outside. Good shower. Cookies đź‘Ť

Wonderful hotel and staff!! Just ask for a room away from the main road as it is quite noisy all night long. Breakfast was wonderful and worth adding with your stay.

The drains made our bedroom smell awful.shut the foor and left the extraction fan on while we went out and the double le bed matress was awful..had collapsed one side. For the money we paid we expected at least a comfortable nights sleep.

Nothing negative to say except that if you're overweight you may be squeezed between the wall and the shower cubicle when sitting on the loo. The radiator needs bleeding as only a small lower fraction of the radiator gets warm. (Room 210) However, it was comfortable and conveniently located.

It’s a nice hotel with a great breakfast, all though there are a lot of sounds because it’s place by a busy main road I enjoy my stay so far

Crazy prices for a 3 star Hotel. 200+ ÂŁ a night without breakfast! London is, in essence, one of the most expensive and low quality vs. price cities in the world. Spacious room, with a view on the bins of the hotel, sadly. Bathroom microscopic. Cleaning lady distracted: we found our room door not closed after service, once we came back to the hotel late afternoon! Possibly we are not going to repeat.

Perfect days in Wimbledon and returning to the hotel for a good rest, but upon entering the room again the couple that lives in room 306 are fighting loudly!!!! My son looks at me because he can't stand listening to this violent couple, that the son is also screaming... unacceptable statement that he tepites himself in the morning, yard and night.

We were looking for a hotel with a parking place at a reasonable price which was not that easy. Here we found one. The hotel is located in a nice area with many restaurants and a good tube connection to London city. Everything in the hotel was good (room, tidy, breakfast). One star less because the noise from the street was bit annoying when you try to fall asleep. Anyway we will return to this hotel as our base for our London trips.

I have been traveling a lot and this has probably been the worst hotel I have stayed in. The bed was hard like a stone, the room was tiny, the bed was made for dwarfs, my feet were off the bed basically. There was constantly a water running sound all night.. I just dont even know where to end with all the things that were terrible.. I have stayed in a few best western hotels but this one wow!

Good location and rooms however it was still warm and our air conditioner leaked, they promised to fix it over four nights and never did so we had to keep turning it off each night and getting a promise if someone fixing it the next day. They never did and we got little sleep. They said there were no other rooms to move us to, offered us no compensation or anything to make up for it. So beware.

It is a perfect place to stay if your not going to be in your room all day. It is the perfect size for two people. Very clean place, friendly and location is amongst the locals not tourist which is what I loved the most. Lots of eating and coffee around. I would definitely recommend this place

Location of this hotel was really good. Lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops close by. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good too. The downside is it is on a main road so is pretty loud at night if you happen to be in a room facing the road. Also it was 100% clean. Stains in the floors and black marks on the bathroom roof. Not the cleanest hotel I've stayed it

Surprisingly nice. The place is very clean, and maintained to a high standard. Rooms are comfortable, and although its on a high road you don't really hear anything. Well located for the amenities in and around Chiswick, and with some parking spaces - although limited so book before you arrive.

Welcoming and helpful staff, off road parking (nominal charge), very clean and bright room with en suite shower room, plenty of hot water, tea/coffee making facilities, comfortable beds, great choices of buffet style breakfast and a very good location for transport links and amenities. We have stayed previously and will no doubt return.

A great hotel if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of London and close to the tube station - the reception staff were excellent and helpful throughout our stay - the room (111) was at the front and a little noisy, however, you are off a busy road in W London, therefore, mitigation is accepted - some great little restaurants on their door-step and will review after this. Parking was a little tight due to the pavement being sorted at the front of the hotel - however, this did not detract from a nice place to stay. Would recommend.
