Great local coffee house! Serving some amazing "real" coffee, so much so, an Australian from Melbourne rates this as one of his favourite spots in Clerkenwell. Great selection of coffee, slices, biscuits and soft drinks for both sit in and takeaway. Locals in the area/owners who are friendly and welcoming to all who visit. Great bit of chat if you're up to talk and happy to leave you be if you're not.

Barista Daniel was a lovely bloke, funny and kind. Amazing coffee with great pastries to boot, where else are you going to get a red velvet cookie?

I’m a regular here because the coffee is seriously amazing; smooth and a perfect temperature, with the added bonus that it’s served by lovely people. (I don’t think the last (and only!) 2 star review is a fair reflection of this place - I imagine the only reason they aren’t open today is due to the national train strike!). If you’re ever nearby, I thoroughly recommend getting your caffeine hit from here, you won’t regret it.

Probably the nicest frothy hot chocolate I've had! Great little spot, decided to come here as I wanted to support smaller businesses. Also the brownie was so good, will be back for more!

Amazing coffee and friendly staff. It's my regular pit stop to work, and one of the best coffees in the city! Owned and managed with love by a couple who put every little ounce into running this gem! Support neighborhood cafes post covid and give this a try!

If I could give more than five stars, I would give them to EC1 Coffee! The quality of their customer service, coffee, and cookies is truly special. The chocolate and walnut cookie was to die for, and second only to my daughter's baking. Daniel and Joel truly made our day and I would highly recommend visiting EC1 Coffee. Thanks Daniel and Joel!

Amazing coffee but recently no idea what's happened to the place! My friend Wade & I always cycle past to check status but it seems closed all the time. Hope the place hasn't gone for good!! Miss the miso white cookies and cracking oat milk lattes!!
