I had the most wonderful anniversary celebration at Lansbury Heritage Hotel! Abdul at the front desk was truly amazing, welcoming us with a warm heart. Our check-in was smooth, and our room was beautifully decorated, creating a gorgeously romantic atmosphere, thanks to the hotel staff's attention to detail. We enjoyed the well-equipped gym and the serene sauna and steam room, where we relaxed for quite some time. The bar served great drinks, and the peaceful garden was the perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend this place for a special getaway! 🌟✨ #AnniversaryBliss #LansburyHeritageHotel

The gorgeous hideaway Hotel and Spa is just delightful. The decor is elegant and regal. The place is very open and fresh. I had the pleasure of having a spa day experience with my beauty therapist Tanya. She was super attentive, very kind and a great energy. She listened to the concerns I had about my skin and reassured me every step of the way. An array of premium product displays and the feel of Pure luxury can be absorbed the moment you enter. Would certainly recommend as they have a variety of packages even for teens too.

I was here for a week on business and we has a room on 2 levels, the stairs were steep to the bedroom the bathroom downstairs not ideal in the middle of the night! I had to leave a desk light on downstairs so I could negotiate the stair in the dark! The left 2 small bottles of water in the fridge to last 5 nights and once gone it was £1.50 a bottle, my room was £163 per night, you couldn't make that up! If a different person was in the room each night they would have 2 bottles each day so why they can replenish I'm not sure but smacks of greed. The breakfast was very nice and the lady in the breakfast room very pleasant. It was handy for Canary Wharf but apart from that I'd avoid this hotel or ask for a room on one level.

Hotel very welcoming and clean - staff couldn't be better, we stayed in the Octigan room and it surpassed my expectations with a coffee machine, tea making facilities with fridge stocked with water and milks, they thought of everything including cosy dressing gowns and air conditioning which is a must at the moment in the hot weather, and the room was furnished to a high standard. Breakfast was buffet style but still catered for every need including cereals and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. I look forward to staying in this hotel again.

Stayed on a Sunday going in to May Bank Holiday. First impressions were good, the hotel is immaculately presented and stylish, with high ceilings and good quality marble bathrooms, which should have made it a bargain price. But we found this hotel rather noisy and I doubt we would stay again. Our room (G7) was on the ground floor at the back of the property and we were woken at 6:15 by the bin men putting on a virtuoso performance of throwing the bins all over the place. The air conditioner in the room gurgled joyfully when turned on and whenever someone turned a tap on or used the bathroom in the rooms around us we could hear the water moving through the pipes surprisingly loudly. The people upstairs seemed to be practicing their leaps, so we felt very aware of everything going on in the hotel. I also found the room perfumes used in the hotel very cloying and headache inducing.

The smallest room I ever stayed in my life. Can’t believe this hotel is rated 4-star. Some things that awarded 1-star review: Steam sauna smells of mould. The shower in mens sauna changing room - glass doors stayed in my hand, went off hinge when I tried to open it. Shower gel in the other shower cabin was empty. Usually the guests are provided with two water bottles, but they were not there. When I went ask to the reception, a receptionist guy told me that we can drink the tap water from the bathroom. Eventually after speaking to the receptionist lady, we got the water bottles. The door handles in the room / bathroom had such sharp edges, that when walking by me and my partner got injured having skin scratches to the blood. If that would be a running child, it could cut his forehead open easily. H&S risk. The breakfast had almost no healthy options, maybe some fruits and oat flakes, warm milk was only available from coffee machine when pressing repeatedly the button :-). Food was predominantly unhealthy loaded with sugar, white bread and fat. Bacon super salty. Probably a perfect breakfast for people that don’t care about eating healthy food. I hardly ever complain, it was overall ok, we survived three days. Yeah there are better hotels. Hotel service was really good apart from the guy that wanted guest to drink tap water from bathroom, and they were very compassionate to hear about our experience and feedback, they said they will check it out. Especially the door handles in this room. Wishing all the best!

Loved it 😍 The decor of the hotel is amazing well maintained. The staff was courteous and fun they love people taking pictures which is a big positive. They decorated the property so well and creatively. They provide complimentary sauna and gym. Cons not really but good to know: The rooms were a bit small but I love that they were technologically nice with a electric fireplace. You have to change the lift to reach 3 rd floor and lift was too slow but looking at the heritage hotel Providing you with lift it’s not so bad. But I won’t mind the cons as they have maintained it really well feels like royal.

A beautiful modern boutique hotel. Our room was lovely. The only criticism of it was the poor supplies of milk. Minor, but for the price of the room I think a few more of those tiny pots of milk would not have broke the bank. We turned up early before our check in but was told the bar only opened between 7-9pm. Must have missed this on their website but again this is a bit poor. Overall, it was a nice stay and good spot for Canary Wharf and the O2 Arena.

We went for a spa retreat. I can't say I was impressed. The sauna was very small but hot. The steam room was ok but the facilities pretty much stopped there. No plunge, no pool. We did get the occasional whiff of stagnant water that they tried to cover up with really strong air freshener which was not nice at all. The room was clean though the heating controls were at reception so we had to ask them to make adjustments from the desk but the night service receptionist didn't know how to do that. The other observation was that there was no shower glass in the room so the entire floor got wet requiring one to remove socks or wear shoes to use the toilet. I'm sorry I don't have anything really positive to say

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Lansbury, the building is beautiful. Our club room was immaculate, beautiful high ceilings, loved the controls for the lights and thermostat via the TV remote. The staff were also so friendly and welcoming which really does make all the difference. There was nothing I would have changed and we will definitely be coming back😊 Thank you all at Lansbury Heritage Hotel!

Good location and a fabulous heritage building. Staff are professional and friendly. Had initial problem with damp smell and got moved immediately, to similar room which seemed a little more tired. Room carpet needs cleaning and bathroom needs re sealing around bath. Breakfast a tad disappointing as not enough healthy options but made acceptable by amazing home cooked bread. Second nights sleep very disturbed by selfish guest having alarm ringing in middle of the night followed by slamming of doors. Not the hotels fault but really needed to sleep. Overall 4 out of 5

Great little hotel. Very nice staff. The rooms are amazing. Very modern lights etc but all while maintaining the character of it. Close to the tube. And close to bars and restaurants in Canary Wharf. Would stay again. Comfy beds.

It was a nice visit at the Lansbury yesterday. The hotel is small but with brand new looks, yet carry an antique impression! The special design of the wooden loft in the hotel room is what impressed me. It is an unique building in the neighborhood!

Wonderful building tastefully and intelligently converted. The room we had was good, but badly let down by the state of the carpet. Noise proofing could be a lot better. Breakfast was a buffet which was tired and dry by 9.45.

Unfortunately, my generally positive experience with the rooms was overshadowed by the lacklustre service I received from the hotel staff. On the day of check-in, I arrived at the hotel with a significant amount of luggage and young children. I was struggling to manage everything, and it was quite evident. However, not a single staff member offered to assist me with the doors or luggage - even though they could see me trying to enter the hotel from where they were positioned at reception. The next day, I approached the reception desk with a small item I needed to dispose of. Instead of allowing me to use the nearby bin, I was directed to go outside of the hotel as the one right next to him was a "staff bin." This seemed like an unnecessary inconvenience and a rigid adherence to a policy that was clearly inconsiderate. There were other occasions in my short stay that felt as though they continually prioritised trivial policies over kindness and general courtesy. I at no point was asking for the extra mile, but just a few centimetres and that seemed like it was entirely too much. I believe that a hotel experience should encompass not only comfortable accommodations but also attentive and helpful service. Unfortunately Lansbury Heritage Hotel fell short in this regard. I would not recommend it to others, and I am unlikely to return in the future. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and strives to improve the level of service to match the quality of their rooms.

Avoid. I had a booking at this hotel with a free cancellation window. About 15 hours after the free cancellation window it became evident that due to pregnancy-related illness we will not be able to travel and had to cancel our trip to London. I contacted this hotel on 2 different platforms explaining my situation and was met with zero empathy and a patronising tone. My request for an act of grace to waive the cancellation fee was rejected. Not even a discounted cancellation rate was offered. They said I could rebook my stay, however, there was a deadline on this, which, given the nature of my pregnancy I definitely won't be able to meet. On top of this, I was met with patronising tone where staff said in a message: 'congratulations on being a mother'. I'm in a genuine situation and I explained this to the hotel, even while revealing some very personal details. My email that I sent to the hotel has been ignored. Having read the reviews, this hotel appears to respond mostly to positive reviews and choose to ignore the constructive feedback provided. I'm very upset by the lack of understanding but also about how someone decided that it was okay to say to a pregnant woman 'congratulations on being a mother'. 4 star service? I don't think so.

I have stayed here a few times, and I have to say the building is beautiful, and the rooms I stayed in have been nice apart from an issue with the bathroom fan not turning off in one and a bit of a musty smell. The location is also pretty good for proximity to canary wharf. The issue I had was the service and the hotels policy on "damages." I completely understand that damages have to be paid for but to be charged 1/2 the room rate for a small patch of spilt wine on the bed linen (which would be washed out) and the floor is ridiculous. This charge was also taken without me being notified or invoiced and when I queried it, I was told thanks for my feedback but this is policy, they have to charge for specialist cleaning and they sent the invoice to the wrong email. I have attached a photo I was sent which shows the mark is smaller than a Mobile phone. As a hotel, I would have assumed they would account for small accidental spillages from things like food, drinks, makeup ect. I would definitely not feel comfortable staying here again as I would now worry if I accidentally dropped something like foundation while getting ready, would I be charged again

Spotless and beautiful building. Truly unique hotel in the heart of London with great public transport connections that are local. Staff are amazing and super welcoming. I've stayed here many times and it never ever dissappoints.

This wasn't a 4* hotel for sure, just the looks of it's interior are kind of reminiscent of that. Let me say that the staff was very friendly and helpful at all times except for the fact that we stayed a couple of days without room cleaning service except for when we asked to and the air-conditioning unit needed to be serviced and was most likely missing fluids. Other than that though the breakfast was just beans, bacon, sausages, mushrooms and hash browns plus a few pastries. Also due to us being on the ground floor we couldn't open our windows to let in some fresh air. But the worst was the food from the restaurant, we got served multiple plates that had just been heated up and what's worst is that half the food was still cold! (Try eating cold chicken wings and tortillas). All in all it was a poor experience.

Cozy and clean hotel with a nice duplex room. Located relatively close to the O2 venue (less than 15 min drive). I enjoyed the £15 full breakfast and the complimentary mini bar.

Spotlessly clean and modern hotel, friendly staff. Located around 15 minutes walk from nearest tube station in a quite area. Well priced for London. Only irritations being AC and lighting overly fussy to control with weak AC output, shower room fan noisy and ran a long time after the light was switched off.

  • 3/5 Ian D. 2 years ago on Google
Nice location for the O2 arena and high class look. Comfy bed and a good quiet room. Water tepid at best so no showers for us in the morning. Reception not available to report my concern on the phone, and my comments about it in check-out were received with disinterest and certainly no reduction on rate etc. apparently it’ll be looked at… So no I would not recommend it and would not stay again for this reason alone.

Lansbury Heritage hotel was our oasis in the buzzing of activity city of London. It is wonderful place to stay, our room and the bathroom were big, the team is very kind, plus we enjoyed the spa center, this service was included in our rate. The location is good, close to public transport and restaurants. We will be back. Thank you.

The impressions of the hotel were positive, the disappointment came later. For over a week now, I have been sending e-mails to the reception of this hotel asking for my deposit back. The hotel staff wrote to me information about refund - 7 working days. Unfortunately nothing has been sent to my account. So I started to post again on this, and I am now talking to a completely different person. This person claims these funds are in my account. Unfortunately I didn't get them back from the momet when I left the hotel. It's a nice place, but it is a pity that contact with the reception is so difficult.

I’ve stayed here a couple times and the room is perfect for a 1-2 night stay. The massive window is a perfect feature allowing so much natural light into the room in the day. The room layout can be a bit strenuous as the bed is up a set of stairs, so every time you wish to use the bathroom you will have to make the trip. I wouldn’t recommend doing that too intoxicated. For that reason this hotel is more suited for a business stay or a couples break. They have a sauna, steam room and gym. It is usually pretty quiet so you can get the whole area to yourself. Staff were really friendly and each time I have stayed here they will even bring your outside food deliveries to your room.

Me and my fiancee stayed for 3 nights Sunday to Wednesday morning we loved it. The room was amazing everything was great the only small thing was the shower cubicle was on the small side but that is clutching at straws. We didn't get time to use the spa or the restaurant but we intend to do that on our next stay. The location is perfect 5 min walk from canary wharf underground station we throughly recommend!

Very lovely room and hotel from what we seen, unfortunately we checked in late and did not get the use most of the facilities. The staff were really friendly and welcoming we checked in late and had to call reception to adjust the air conditioning which was no problem at all. The only points for improvement I would say is the room was very warm and the air conditioning once adjusted made the club room we stayed in just comfortable and there was no option to stream onto the TV which would have been a good addition but not a deal breaker.

Fab hotel, great staff. Rooms a little on the small side but generous well-appointed bathrooms, soft bathrobes and very comfortable bed. If you're exploring the docklands and east London it's perfectly placed esp for the bars and restaurants of Canary Wharf. Westfield Stratford a huge shopping mall is only a short bus or train ride away. All in all a great hotel and would highly recommend.

Our go to place for a local date night. Classy boutique hotel in an amazing historic building. Love the split level mezzanine rooms on the first floor and they are well worth the extra few pounds. Don't be put off by the surrounding area, once you are inside the hotel, you are transformed to another world. Lovely friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Shame the restaurant is still closed as the food is really nice here and reasonably priced.

I stayed for two nights Friday to Sunday for my birthday in August. To begin it was pouring with rain and I was not assisted with the door or my bags at the door. Stayed in the octagonal room (Canary Wharf views was a bit a stretch through wired mesh) bathroom was tiny and room had funny smell, not fresh like most hotels I have stayed at. Due to a surprise party I needed to leave early but was denied this unless they found someone for the room. I had to chase them as the manager doesn’t work weekends and no other staff could authorise this (shambolic). They had no one booked so I had to leave my own party early and drive back from Kent so my money wasn’t wasted. Customer service is the weak point and will never stay nor recommend to anyone. Unfortunately due to covid I wasn’t able to access spa or food. Will be adding review to trip advisor too to warn others!

It was ..... ok. Given the wrong room key to start and had access to some else's room. Easily sorted but never the less not brilliant. Room.was clean and modern. Only issue was the heating didn't work, staff didn't move us nor act upon the issue until 24hrs later (with a oil radiator) not what you would expect from 'luxury hotel' again never the less I cant grumble. Bed was super comfy, food was excellent l, facilities amazing and hotel location and appearance 9/10..one niggle to add... parking is not overally close and the car park is very tight to access. Do you research and book accordingly. Would I return, based on my stay NO there is better for the money. However that being said if its a weekend in London your after, no car... and without the issues we had. I would recommend 👌

Great boutique hotel, all staff members were very helpful. Daniel and team provided me with such pleasant stay. I will definitely be returning with my partner again.

A short but sweet stay - we didn’t get to experience much of the hotel as it was more of a bed for the night after an evening out in Canary Wharf but what we did see was great - lovely room, comfy bed, powerful shower. A special mention to Daniel who was a super host and also gave a fabulous recommendation for a bar before our evening event - thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was looking for a Hotel and Spa as close to Canary Wharf as possible without staying IN Canary Wharf, The Lansbury Heritage ticked all the boxes, it's regal, affordable, has off street parking, and is about 15 min walk from the Wharf. I booked a club room, it's small but lovely, with the bed being on the first floor and the bathroom ground floor (not so ideal if you have mobility issues, which my wife does have a bad back, a bit of an oversight on my part but she loved the room all the same), it has one large window and an extremely high ceiling. The staff were courteous although we did stay during storm Eunice so the hotel did seem quiet. The bed is comfy, rooms quiet, heating/air con holds the room temp extremely well, turn down service was fine although dirty teacups left behind and no new ones replaced, not the end of the world by any means but had to go to reception to get my top ups, So why the 4 stars and not 5, well I booked through booking.com, which is my usual go-to but I didn't see anything about having to book the car park 24 hours before to get a space, it's very small, like 10 spaces max, I might have missed it but was in contact with the hotel a few times regarding early check in, a heads up would have been appreciated, or just this being more clear to customers. The bar and restaurant are still closed due to Covid which is odd but this didn't effect my review as I was aware of this before making the booking and was planning to be doing most of my eating and drinking in the Wharf's choices of restaurants. I didn't manage to use the spa, as again it's a book in advance rule, 48 hours in this case, (I thought it was 24, so I got that wrong too, so that was a little disappointing. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure, I would stay again myself with better understanding of the booking rules so as to maximise my stay.

Great stay, lovely hotel at a good price. Stayed for a week, had one or two issues but we’re very quickly sorted via a WhatsApp message (nice feature) without any complaints. Daniel was fantastic very welcoming and very talkative. Highly recommended!
