Been a member of this twice recently joined again and the best time to come is after 10pm. Its about 10% full. Only one thing I've found an issue is the fact loads of gym weights never get out back and you will see 6 to 8 dumbbells around a bench.

A big selling point for me was the free 3 hour parking, since most of my training sessions are just shy of 2 hours. Unfortunately, they have reduced this to 1.5hrs. If head office had any brain cells, they would understand that most people are in the gym for more than 1.5 hours. Now we have to literally rush to warm up, cool down, stretch, shower and leave. And forget about have a little talk in between sets ...otherwise you can look forward to getting fined. Attached are the new parking rules. "We will have to adjust to it", we've been told Predictably, l'll get the standard response. Some version of "we're sorry for the inconvenience but we don't own the car park" blah blah. Clearly, head office have zero negotiating skills. If they cared, perhaps knock off a few £ from my monthly fees. Or give me some perks of using other gyms at no extra cost. Far as I'm concerned, this is just another example of treating your customers like cattle. The only thing that stops me from giving a one star is the gym staff. They are a lovely bunch. This is a head office issue, and they are lucky they don't work from a building in Kingsbury.

Preferred the old Fitness First, when Simon and Ricky were running the show. Now it’s just robotic and like a prison with pin entry. A positive is cheaper membership and monthly fee.

Do not join this gym if you are interested in classes, classes often cancelled on the day with no warning. A positive is the 3 hour free parking, however this is shared with Aldi, however it is a one way system often this takes ages to get exit at peak times, Saturdays and Sundays. Good Machines, weights and free Wifi however no personality, just a shell with machines. Having to enter in a code to enter and then another time to enter the changing room is a waste of time.

All was good, but it seems that changes are underway as paper towels were removed to cut waste and now I need to cancel my yanga add on as for the last 3 weeks, coconut and pineapple flavour are not available just water instead. 2nd picture with rules of cleaning the equipment with sanitiser and blue paper alongside the notice for blue roll paper looks well next to each other.

Very well equipped, everything from free weights, lots of machines to 10+ treadmills. Poor air-conditioning near the treadmills so very uncomfortable if you plan to run. Changing rooms need a deep clean.

Have been attending the centre for the last 4 months and have had a reasonably pleasant experience. Doesn't really get too busy. Early mornings at around 5am are ideal. 3- 8pm are usual peak times. Only complaint is the lack of initiative from staff in dealing with maintenance related issues. Ceiling was leaking while users next to leak were using heavy weights. Could be easily a slip hazard for a user. Otherwise it is a reasonable gym with the basic gym equipment. There are a range of classes from circuits and yoga sessions which run regularly.

There's a weird atmosphere here, I can't quite put my finger on it. The other gym members are nice, but I don't think I will be going back.

I’ve been training here for a couple years now and haven’t moved. The gym has everything you need to grow and get fitter. By no means is this a powerlifting gym but with dumbbells up to 50kg, most people will suffice here. Great new equipment added over the last year as well with more space and plenty cardio machines for all you fiends. Cheap, local and friendly staff, why train elsewhere.

The most I love about the management of the gym is, they really do listen to people! I am not sure whether there's been change in the management, or old management applying improved techniques to better the gym. They reach out to people for their feedback and work on it to improve the gym. I can see this gym getting better every day in front of my eyes, it's an amazing thing to witness 🙌🏽 😍 👏🏽 👌🏽 😀 thank you! You all are doing great! Keep it up!

The worst visit to this gym was on September 30th 2023. As a regular member of another The Gym Group (fantastic staff etc). I purchased a day pass to gain access to the Kingsbury branch, but my access code/app QR code failed to activate. I rang the bell several times with no response, and other gym members even attempted to draw the attention of one of the staff members (Ali Rezaei), who was rude and arrogant. He aggressively reacted to the other gym members who attempted to assist while I was still stranded and waiting outside, and he responded "what do you want me to do about it?" Another gym member had to call the manager's attention (Dereck Factor), who eventually came to help and let me in. With all that, couldnt register my car on time, got a parking ticket after all that negative experience. I will never return to this branch.

Top equipment and updating their equipment and space very frequently to make sure users are satisfied! Very friendly staff that are always willing to help and make sure we have everything we need. Open 24 hours and always clean for members to use. Top quality gym with top quality staff!

The best gym I have found in my area. Its worth the price range because of all the equipment, friendly staff, cleanliness and good environment.

  • 3/5 J C. 1 year ago on Google
Reasonably priced. Good gym overall with all necessary equipment for weight lifting and cardio. Significant delays in repairing equipment in the rare instances where there is a fault. Can get very busy and unusable at peak times. Good gym for off peak use.

Under current management of Jay Smikle and Antita Varga, the Gym has become a toxic unsafe environment. Tools are left by the gym equipment. Access to fire extinguishers are blocked. Equipment such as treadmills regularly break down. Those working are only 50% fully functional. Experienced staff have left with new inexperienced staff replacing them. They just lost a senior PT recently. I no longer use the TGG Kingsbury and terminated my membership. A shame as Kingsbury had a lot going for it pre-Covid lockdown.

I think that the gym group Kingsbury is a great gym to go to . There's always parking facilities and management is always looking out for the wellbeing of the members . JAY and Anita are very welcoming and always keep the gym clean and safe . I attend the gym regularly and they have a wide variety of classes available . Monday evening is the boxfit class run by the amazing Anthony who pushes you and is very motivating. Wednesday I attend Sim simma class and it is a great conditioning class with a mix of afrobeats/ r&b and old school jamz. Sim is a powerhouse and is like the energizer bunny that never runs out of energy and does this with a smile on her face. I have seen so much changes in my body through the help of these people . LAMIA is also very welcoming person and also Tania . The team is amazing

Nice gym but the music is absolutely horrific. It is actually demotivating to listen to whilst working out. MAKE SURE YOU BRING HEADPHONES!!

  • 4/5 Isha M. 1 year ago on Google
This gym has a good variety of both upper and lower body machines and I’ve heard they will be adding quite a few more machines soon too which will be great! There’s lots of floor space in front of the mirrors for warming up and cooling down! The manager and the staff are all very lovely too! The only downside I’d say is the lack of deadlift platforms; there’s only one in the entire free weights area. Although for me going during off-peak times I haven’t had to wait around too long to use it, I can imagine it gets pretty busy during the peak hours. Nevertheless, with the space they have they have done a good job to provide a decent range of free weight activities including 2 squat racks, 1 bench rack, 1 smith machine and lots of free benches. Have enjoyed using this gym for the last month and feel like I’ve settled in well there now!

Very good gym. Quite neat. There's parking which is superb. ALDI is on the ground floor so we can do shopping with a gym session which is handy. Can get busy but that's quite normal anywhere.

  • 3/5 Amit V. 4 years ago on Google
Smells pretty bad sometimes, not enough weights machines

  • 4/5 AJ 4 years ago on Google
Good cheap gym with free parking (3 hours). Parking can get super cramped at peak hours as it's also shared with Aldi shoppers. Furthermore, there is a good range of equipment and a decent sized free weight area. Downsides: the men's toilets are usually dirty. Also, quite a few of the lockers don't seem to work properly.

Clean place, free parking at the ALDI car park, good selection of machines and free weights.

  • 3/5 Sandeep H. 5 years ago on Google
Good gym. My regular. Doesn't have all the equipment which others have, due to the size of the gym. However the price also reflects that.

  • 1/5 Adrian Granados R. 3 years ago on Google
None of the staffs are cleaning anything. I was there for over an hour and they didn't clean anything. Bins were full of blue paper from people cleaning the machines. I would have thought the gym had better cleaning procedures considering the current situation.

  • 3/5 Sayyed Amin S. 4 years ago on Google
The gates are not enough. They do not have upper-chest or lower-chest and even standing calf muscles exercise machin. The dumples are not always clean and they are not in order. For example if you want to find a 6kg dimples you have to search every where. I do not like this experience. Furthermore, the smith machine is ussually occupied. They should add another one.

I only really go there for the free Yoga sessions on Saturdays, but the staff are kind and helpful. The location is well place with a tesco and aldi nearby as well as bus stops and a train station opposite the gym.
