I was in the area for work so decided to check this place out. It is really beautiful. I especially like how there are religious statues but it isn't disrespectful or distasteful, which you don't get a lot of recently. You can buy food and drink and plenty of space to sit down. There is a little bar as well. Friendly staff. Overall really nice place to chill!

Great place to visit and the neon signs are beautiful and a great place to take some photos. Got some coffee here but it was not hot but warm, drinking temperature straight away, think it could have been more hot. There is a toilet here which is great.

This was a great experience, seems so surreal taking in all the amazing, creative and colourful neon art work and displays. The owners are very friendly and chatty. I was surprised to see there was a cafe inside, so I treated myself to a yummy lunch and coffee.

Hands down one of the coolest spots in London. Even though I wish it was bigger, there is so many unique signs to look at, you could easily spend hours in there just staring at it. It has such immaculate vibes it made me feel so cool just being there! 🤩 The music, the art, everything was just perfect. And it's for free which is just mind-blowing!!! Definitely a must-see!

Really cool, free thing to do in London. Lots of really interesting neon pieces and other junk items turned into art. The cafe also has a tasty cream tea option. For afternoon tea, make sure to book in advance.

A must see if you're in London or like Neon lights. The cafe could do with some healthier and vegan options though. There's a secret garden area at the back with plenty of seating which is nice for the summer. There's also a large seating area indoors near the cafe and bar. If you want good photos without people in the background visit on a Friday as soon as they open. Some of the signs have famous origins such as the rainbow sign that appears in a Tom Cruise movie. They aren't all referenced so you may need to ask the staff for details.

This place is absolutely amazing! It is well worth the visit. Their collection of neon signs are out of this world. We had a drink and wandered around the space, checking out the lights. And if you have 20p the giraffe will give you a great ride ;)

Funky place !! By the Atmosphere, One will feel like that he is in the era of 70s or 80s. Inside, there are many neon arts / designs made from neon lights. Atmosphere is usually filled with 90s rock music mostly. Most/ generally available drinks/cocktails are available if you want spend time with friends. However entry is free and it's not required to buy drinks just for being there. Note: as the name suggests- 'junkyard' - so everything that you see inside / has been kept inside- by the looks it may feel like they all are picked from a junkyard :)

Very cool place to visit and has lots of pictures Rather than that a place like that is supposed to have a more vibrant people at the bar….instead I found zombies with NO ENERGY AT ALL!!!

Hard to even explain how good this place is. The staff and owner are genuine kind people and nice to converse with. The place it’s self is very visually striking and every time I turned my head another piece of art popped out. They allowed us to film despite giving 0 notice and only having an explanation of what we’re doing. And the carrot cake was undoubtedly by far the best cake I have ever eaten in my life (sorry mum). A glowing 5 star review in all areas, an absolute gem of London.

A must see ! Not only is this place gorgeous but it's also an amazing place in which to have a drink. There are a lot of beautiful, funny and cheeky neon signs of all shapes and forms every where. The place is very chill and you have different small seating areas where you can enjoy a drink from the bar. There is a variety of cold and hot drinks, as well as cake and small treats. The music is really cool. Overall a really good experience on a weekend.

A modern day mecca for those after a sensory experience. Was very grateful one of the guys who makes the signs showed us around a bit and pointed out the various films that the signs were in. There is also an on site cafe for a bite to eat or beer amongst all the neon signage. There seemed to be lots of missed opportunity to monetise the place a bit more but perhaps that's what gives it extra charm. If you want to go when it's dead quiet, Friday mornings is the time to go apparently.

Interesting place to buy neon signs and just have a look around. Free entry. Cafè is quite nice and there’s a good amount of seats inside though they don’t do chips. Worth a visit.

Such an incredible place to visit. Rarely busy, so it's easy to wander through and lose yourself in the incredible neon jungle. The artwork is mind-blowing and there's a fab little café / bar to kick back in. Highly recommend a visit and picking up a copy of the book telling the story of how it came to be.

Funky, colorful cafe bar/art gallery in Walthamstow, at a 10-minute walking distance from Walthamstow Central Station. I was here a wintery Saturday afternoon, hence it was busy. People come and go, since this is also a art gallery. Rock music was playing, which gave the place a good vibe and completed it. I was there for about 30 minutes and all seats available were busy so I couldn't stop for a drink. I will visit again in summer, since the Cafe is surrounded by 2/3 breweries that I want to try. Loved this place! Made me feel back in time. 🕺🎸🎷🎶

Utterly amazing place with enthralling and eclectic neon installations curated beautifully. No charge to enter and the most fabulous food made from local produce that will delight all tastes, including vegetarian dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are incredibly friendly. You can even hold private parties here. While we were here there was a private due and although this meant food service stopped early, we didn't feel at all rushed. This shows how well the staff here manage their time. Thoroughly recommend and I will definitely be back! Ps they even have their own beer!

Loved this little hidden gem of a place. An eclectic collection of neon signs that look amazing. A wicked little coffee shop too with their own brand of lager. Very amicable owner who was very helpful. A great place to visit with a brewery opposite. Plenty of parking.

Venue was a bit of a walk from the station. Thankfully the weather was perfect for this. Friendly chill staff. Kitsch vibe with lots going on on the walls and every nook and cranny of the building. Certainly worth a gander around the venue. Most of the food had run out by 3pm on a Sunday so we had a limited menu to select from. Some of the food presentation looks a bit 'basic' but don't let that put you off because it all tastes absolutely delicious. We had the burgers, nachos, halloumi, and cake! The cocktails were also a delight.

This place has been on my list of places to go since I moved to London. My boyfriend and I travelled from South West London to visit- I must say it wasn't really worth it. Don't get me wrong, the lights are cool, but I'd recommend it more to people that are very local. Definitely wasn't worth the time we spent travelling. We didn't order from the cafe so can't comment on that. The reason I'm giving this place 1 star is because I was so appalled by the disrespect towards Christianity. I'm not a very strict Christian but I was shocked when I saw some of the displays and wanted to leave. Even if you are not religious, I'm sure you can appreciate that the displays are offensive. I really doubt that the owners of this place would have similar displays of other religious figures, however it seems that when it comes to Christianity you can be offensive as you want. There was a strange little nook which had a statue of Jesus holding guns, and other religious memorabilia placed amongst skulls. A few statues of Mary- not offensive on their own but just seemed really out of place amongst the other signs. One Mary statue was dressed in Louie Vuitton clothes. Possibly the most offensive of all was a little seating area, full of 'adult' neon signs, and hanging from the wall were lots of crucifixes with Jesus. I was very upset with the placement of the crucifixes, but was even more shocked when I saw an upside down crucifix with the number '666' and pictures of baphomet amongst the Christian crucifixes. A blatant display of satanism and hugely offensive to Christians. I hope that the establishment will listen to this criticism, I can see from the reviews that I was not the only one offended by this. I certainly won't be returning.

Great place with cool music and lots of fun neon signs to take pics of. It was definitely worth a visit, even though it is quite far from both central London and from Walthamstow station.

What an absolutely amazing place. My friend took me here as a surprise when we were in waldenstow and I was expecting a junkyard however it is the most beautifully decorated establishment with the most incredible neon lights that will bring back memories everything from top of the pops to the fairground. Nice cafe to just take in the ambience.

one of the coolest hiddem gems of london! far from the central parts of the city (but very easy to get by the tube), it is the perfect excuse to know a lesser-know area. the place itself is amazing with the neon lights shining all over. you can spend hours looking for the best spot for pictures and finding the best signs. they also have a nice cafe for food and drinks (even with their own beer!) so it is really a must. just go :)
