Nature preserve

👍👍 Absolutely beautiful place to walk or just relax by the water. Lots of ducks and geese so take bird seed. The trees are lovely and reflect in the water.

This is a mix of pond and wood area, which has easy access from the road through by walk, bus, train and car. There is no specific parking but Kemal Road side would be the best place to park fir free. The environment is very calm but full of bird's chirp. This park is suitable for all age groups and dogs. The road by the poad is frequently used by the runners. The wood land and grass area inside the woods or the area by the pond is a very good place for picnic, or simply sit and enjoy the glittery water relaxation in the leaf. Lots of new arrival in the duck family made it more pleasant. There are limited number of rubbish bin and pet litter boxes. Enjoy 😊

This is my 3rd report at Chrislehurst. 1st Prickend pond, 2nd open space on the common. This a 1min walk from open space Rush Pond. This also is a lovely place and worth a visit. It is on the edge of the Common/ Woods. That why l give it 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Delightful little pond. Usually quiet, with dog walkers and runners a minimum. The surrounding woods are filled with painted stones left by children to brighten a walkers day. Found a fairy garden and a mum and her ducklings too!

Always great to be able to walk in the wild during the long work days in front of the pc. Paths are almost dry now and plenty of wild life

The pond has suffered over the many years that I've frequented the place. Lately it's had money thrown at it by Bromley Council presumably, for cosmetic upkeep. It's always been a place of beauty and relaxation, I hope it stays that way

Rush Pond nature reserve is within Chislehurst Commons Nature Reserve and is situated the junction of Heathfield Lane / Ashfield Lane on the Open Space of Chislehurst Common. ( ref.Mentioned in my review on the Open Space Chislehurst Common). Very popular beauty spot with plenty of walkways to engage in across the Common. Visited here with my wife on Tuesday 2/8/22.
