I would like to dissent to what Ms Anna Baig has written about the Lodge. The place is cleaned regularly between bookings and hundreds of reviews confirm this. The Lodge has never had the pleasure to get thousands of pounds for a single booking. Further, prices are set at time of booking and are considered fair for the type of accommodation offered. Ms Baig is entitled to her opinion but not to say things that are not true.

The room was lovely. Very nice, cutely decorated but not covered in stuff, clean and neat! Our host was a delight. Very kind and helpful. Breakfast was continental and had plenty to choose from. We were provided a key to come and go as we pleased. The shower was a little smaller than I’m used to, but perfectly fine :) the bathroom was very clean and we had excellent water pressure and heat. The bed was very comfortable. The room and road was quiet. Location was very convenient to the bud stops and train station.

The lodge is situated close to all amenities with its own reserved parking spot. The room was immaculate with cute, tasteful decor. Julia went above and beyond to assist my husband who is in a special diet. The breakfast has a large choice to suit all tastes and plenty of it. Will definitely be staying here again if we go down to London.

Great place. You get a fantastic hotel room with all you need but more than this you have a fantastic host offering a splendid service as well as superb Italian coffee. Highly recommended.

A lovely place, with a friendly welcome, your own reserved parking space, a spotlessly clean and quiet room with a walk-in shower that I'd love to have at home. No cooked breakfast, if that's your thing, but toast, spreads, cereals and some very nice pastries to save until lunchtime.

The owner couldn't have been friendlier if she tried. She looked after our every need and I really enjoyed the sat.

This is a wonderful place to stay, most likely the best in the area! Julia is one of the loveliest, most hospitable people I've ever met and she goes above and beyond for her guests. My partner, our cat and I stayed here for 3 weeks due to a moving house mishap and Julia truly made us feel at home. I've never imagined I could feel so much at home at a hotel room, she was very supportive with everything we were going through and was a true friend. The rooms are lovely and immaculately clean, the location is great and there is only good things to be said about Rowan Park Lodge!

The room was filthy. Under the bed hadn't been cleaned in years as it seemed. Juilia is a patient host. It's a small hotel, however the seasonal prices were ridiculous, and left my partner with a £11000+ bill. Your better off booking at a real hotel. The prices will be the same if not less.

Amazing host, very friendly. Lovely little touches in the bedrooms and decor. Breakfast a little disappointing, freshly baked croissants etc would be alot nicer than packaged one.
