Horrific GP! Worst receptionists ever they make my experience horrific every time I speak to them. I suffer with anxiety and depression and i express this when I speak to them as they are all very quick to shut me down and hang up on me. If you do shift hours and cannot call to wish for an appointment each day at 8am RUN FROM THIS GP, they won’t even help you if you struggle online. Its really challenging for me to come back to the GP and express my concerns, I’ve been calling for 4 days to get help, I was spoken to extremely rudely by each lady, the same on multiple occasions whom when I told her I was worried I was going to die she told me ‘ok, have a nice day’ then hung up the phone on me.?! I didn’t catch her name, she answered the phone to me 9:23am 22/03/2021. I felt mortified to phone back knowing their receptionists would rather hang up on someone who fears dying than help them. The lady I spoke to this morning- Emma, was very rude, I told her of the treatment I received previously and she topped it off by also not caring and hung up the phone on me mid conversation. Worst GP EVER!! I can’t find a complaint form online, this needs to be dealt with seriously. I have been going to this GP since 2018 and it’s horrific, the receptionists make it the worst experience I’ve ever had in a GP.

I'm writing a formal complaint to my GP and the practice after yet more rude, aggressive and unhelpful behaviour from one receptionist in particular (same one as always). I will return to write a detailed version of this review once I recover. Nobody who is unwell should have to be subjected to degrading and hostile treatment when calling. It's not a one-off, it's a constant thing. As other reviewers have pointed out, you need to hire staff who can talk to people like human beings and without being constantly angry and aggressive.

I agree with all the other comments here - the doctors at this surgery are excellent but I cannot continue to use this practice because of the shocking rudeness of the reception staff. I am a brand new mother and every experience I’ve had trying to seek care for myself and my baby they’ve been difficult, unhelpful and rude. The postnatal period is obviously very stressful and you would have thought they would be sensitive to that but they are absolutely not and it has left me in tears and too scared to come back.

Website is utterly useless. After going round in circles trying to make an appointment, I am told the details of my name, date of birth and address don't match those held by the Surgery. Those details have not changed since I first registered with the Triangle Group in 1996. What details do you hold for me? Probably explains why every time I speak to a doctor you ask me if I'm still smoking. I gave up 22 years ago! I was trying to be helpful by making an appointment online. I won't bother in future.

I can’t speak for the doctors but the receptionists are VILE. Incredibly rude and should not have a job in a doctors surgery if they do not know how to appropriately communicate with the public. I’ve seen most of the reviews on here and there seems to be a common denominator. My mother cares for my elderly grandmother and called for an appointment as she unwell, she received complete attitude from 2 receptionists, one even shouted at her. I then called to complain about this and i too had the same experience. Disgusting.

If I could give 0 I would! Reception staff are incredibly rude.... they've always let the surgery down! They talk over you on the phone and state they know nothing about their website. The new system of only taking appointments on the day, each and every day (no online or advanced bookings for appointments) is ridiculous and means everyone tries to call at 8am, then when you get through all appointments have gone for the day so you have to go through the same process the next day. Farcical to say the least. The website says they are no longer taking online appointment bookings so who knows if they will go back to that system.... removing online appointments is like going back to the cark ages! 👎👎 Do not go here. Absolute shambles.

I have been a patient at this surgery since a child and I'm a grown adult with children of my own now. The receptionists, particularly Amanda are unnecessarily rude and obstructive. I had an appointment booked for my son, who had been unwell for several weeks. His appointment was cancelled two weeks in a row by the surgery, with the excuse that the practice nurse was ill (any duty doctor could have carried out the care that he needed). Then on the day that he was finally supposed to be seen, I had been up all night because he was unwell, I rang and let them know that I was running late. I walked over a mile to get to the surgery, which was a struggle for me as i have knee problems and because I turned up 1 minute later than their 10mins rule, with a genuine reason and through no fault of my own, he was refused his appointment. Amanda was aggressive, rude and harsh and I have seen her speak to other patients this way too. I made a formal complaint to the useless and incompetent practice manager, who sent a ridiculous and unprofessional letter back to me. Instead of adhering to duty of candour, looking at the bigger picture and taking some accountability. He stated that he had spoken to 'all of the doctors and they have claimed that I have 'embellished' details in my complaint'. Despite me clearly stating that my complaint was about how Amanda had behaved toward me and the fact that my son was refused his appointment despite there needing to be some flexibility, given the situation. I stated that the doctors are mainly skilled and helpful and now I take that feedback right back! Health care professionals and staff members working in healthcare who have any common sense takes heed to the fact that they are not a law unto themselves. They can and will be held accountable for any statments that they make, their behaviour and for neglecting patients. The triangle group practice has become a disgusting excuse for a health care setting and I will be escalating my complaint to the ombudsman. What amazes me, is how confident they are in behaving in such an appalling manner, this is supposed to be a doctor's surgery, but instead it is an embarrassment to the NHS, there is no sense of pride there at all. They think they can treat particular people however they like, but I think they will shortly find out that they cannot! I strongly do not recommend joining this surgery and will be looking for a better one for myself and my children asap.

My mum went into the surgery to make an appointment. The blonde receptionist gave her an appointment and wrote down the time and date for her to attend. However on the date of the appoointment my mum arrived to be told, you have no appointment with the nurse practitioner a doctors appoinment has been made he'll call you. Sort of funny that as my mum don't have a phone, she got rid of it when she was hounded by the practice and NHS over Covid. She literally couildn't cope with the constand bombardment of text messages and calls. So... How's the Dr gonna call her? How's he going to deal with a private personal matter over the phone... he has no idea who she is whats gone on in her life and how she reacts to male Dr's, Very clever...NOT Anyways the woman who made the appointment in the first place checked the system and it basically looked like the appointment had been cancelled. After some choice words they rebooked another appointment for the next day. The old bird behind the desk seriously needs to retire, shes nasty. Plus if she spoke like that to me (the way she spoke to my mum) I'd have pulled her through the plastic.

The doctors here are really good, however the nurse is so rude, cutting me off 3 minutes in to my telephone appointment saying she couldn't deal with anything else as she has to write up consultation notes, it was a 10 minute appointment. Not impressed with her rudeness at all, I have never received that kind of treatment from any of the doctors here. I believe some customer services training is required.

My encouragement: write to PALS as the complaints fall on deaf ears. There are two particular receptionists here who are combative, confrontational and rude. I have also had two experiences with the young male doctor where he outright was dismissive and dishonest when my complaint was investigated. Given the last few years one would think they would have had some training & increased empathy/efforts in creating safe spaces for the varying identities that they serve, but no. Their staff team has taken on a few new members of African and Caribbean staff but I'm not sure their voices are utilised enough because these receptionists? Are downright abusive of their supposed power. It's taken me long enough but I need to go elsewhere.

Been coming to this doctors since a baby. The doctors are very good and helpful. I do find some of the receptionists can be very blunt/rude. But recently I spoke to Amanda who was lovely and very very helpful. So I wanted to leave a review as she helped straight away with what I needed doing.

I usually see Dr Bina Pai, who is incredibly kind and caring, actually listens and genuinely tries to help! She is the only reason I have stayed registered with this practice for as long as I have. As previous reviewers have stated the appointment system of everyone calling at 8am is really not working and we are moving backwards here, it's incredibly frustrating. This morning I called to ask for a prescription, I was told to speak to the pharmacy who would request this for me. I called the pharmacy who stated they needed the email address of the practice to request this (this is not on the website - which, by the way, looks like something a teenager set up in 1993), so I called them back and was told I cannot be given the email address as I am a patient and this is only for pharmacists. They did give me a fax number, as apparently we live in 1976. When I called the pharmacy back they quite rightly also said this was ridiculous and they now have to call themselves to get the email so they can request medication for me. The reception staff is very rude and makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable, I've actually avoided speaking to my GP at times when I could have used help, just so I don't have to deal with this as I have enough stressors in my life. There is info on the website referring you to the NHS Ask app, which I downloaded, but every single service I tried on there comes up with the message "your surgery does not provide this service, you will have to call them". Really not helpful. The actual GP is wonderful and I feel safe and heard with her, the entire structure around this, though, is really letting it down, sadly.

1 star only because otherwise cannot post. The doctors are ok, but the receptionists are definitely doing the wrong job. I have booked an appointment on Ask First and the doctor has called me 30 minutes before it, when you are advised that your appointment could be late, not early. Obviously I have missed the call, as I m at work. I call in and all I get is an abusive woman telling me that they never give you a time, and that the doctor could call you at any time. To which I have tried to explain I had an email with the confirmed time, as she goes on shouting at me, that she works there, and she knows the rules. Never had someone angrier and more miserable. I called again to ask for the practice manager email address, and they could not share it with me, so I have been asked to write a letter and bring it in. I will report them to PALS because they are not only rude, useless and patronizing, but also trying to prevent me from complaining to their manager. How appalling!

Awful! Been with them years as we live right across the road so still here through convenience cos noone wants to travel when they’re unwell right? We are not a drain on resources here but when we do need an appt you can’t get one, phone line often says ‘unrecognised’ when you manage to breakthrough the engaged line. Appts gone within a few mins each day. I saw a doc for a hearing test referral and she was so unhelpful suggesting ‘maybe I was tired’. She also said if her referral was rejected because something about me being under 55, there’s nothing she could do for me…? Why would a doc referral be rejected in the first place? Totally perplexing! Each time I try and use the service I am more enraged with the attitude and lack of empathy of the reception staff. I’m not sure how this surgery can be allowed to continue to operate in such a way

I have only just looked at the reviews on this site and I was absolutely horrified. My family have used this surgery for decades. On occasions the Reception staff may seem in a hurry but I can imagine the mornings are seriously hectic with the phone constantly ringing with appointment requests. I have seen many doctors from the time of Barbara Jacobs and Ann McNair to the present ones and have always been more than satisfied with the treatment I have received. I would definitely recommend this surgery to anyone needing a doctor. Thank you to all at the Triangle Practice for your help over the years.

They don’t care for their patients, I’ve had friends and family go there and they refuse to give them professional help along the proper treatment/medication that would be best for them, they will tell you to wait for months because ”they can’t do anything unless the problem has been there for over 5 months” and tell you to go home in discomfort because it will “eventually” pass. Don’t go here and don’t let your circle of people come here they don’t help and if anything they let the problem get worse till it’s out of their hands and you’ll have to go some place else.

Do not register at this GP if you are a working person and especially if you do not work from home. It is not possible to book an appointment ahead of time. You have to turn up to the practice at 8am and stand in a queue to be added to a list for a GP to call you. They say you can call at 8am to get added to this call list but ignore this as I have tried a number of times and there is no answer. When you are in the queue asking for an appointment they ask you what it is regarding which feels a breech of confidentiality. Cannot comment on the expertise of the GP’s as have still not managed to get an appointment. I will be registering with a new surgery.

The GP receptionists are the worst people i have encountered. They called my attitude disgusting when the receptionist promised me a 9am appointment and another one said they dont do timed appointments and i have been waiting 2 hours. I told them this is about a important issue and they continued to patronise me and talk condescendingly as if i am a child. I called back and they hung up on me. Do not go to this GP!

I have been using this surgery from at least 2002. Every doctor that I have seen throughout my time visiting Triangle Group Practice, has treated me with respect and never rushed me. I have also learned that competition is making people at every business leave negative reviews at their competitor. Google needs to follow facebook and remove every fake review or find a way that people cannot leave fake reviews on any business using google. I am so glad Dr Raheem has joined Triangle Group Practice and I hope he only leaves Triangle Group Practice when he retires. He is such a good doctor. I wish him all the best on his future.

Reception staff are ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Phoned at 6pm once I finished work to confirm a blood test form was there for my poorly mum. Reception staff straight away dismissed the question and told me they close bang on 6:30pm. I said I understand that, but I want to make sure the form is there before I travel from Welling to collect the form as my mum is too sick to leave her home. Phoned at 6:20pm to say my Sat Nav is saying I should arrive at 6:33pm. Reception staff were rude and unwilling to wait 3 mins even though I explained how poorly my mum is and the reason for me collecting the form and not her. I had to park my car and run in a suit and shoes to the practice to be there for 6:30pm (I arrived at 6:29pm) otherwise the staff would have been gone by 6:33pm. For this reason I am transferring to another practice as talking to a brick wall would have been more helpful. Both receptionist that work on Thursday need replacing!.

I would like to thank the receptionist on duty this morning (18th September) who was incredibly helpful in finding appointments for my family. I have actually found the reception staff and the doctors to be very caring and helpful in the last couple of years. Yes, it can be hard to get appointments but this seems to be a common problem post-covid! 😕

👍👍 I cannot recommend heartily enough this surgery, I left my previous surgery of 20 years due to them going down hill. From the moment you enter, all staff are polite, helpful and listen to you.
