The Earl of Dartmouth, who made the land available, laid the foundation stone on 26 October 1857 and on All Saints’ Day the following year (1 November 1858) the Bishop of London came to consecrate the church. Very easily approachable, just near the Blackheath Station in the middle of the village. There are a large number of restaurants in the near about area.

Beautiful church perched on the edge of Blackheath. I believe it is very old indeed but am unsure of the details. Regardless it is a pleasure to walk around on a lovely summer weekend.

What a beauty, but I've never caught it open yet, and I've been there pretty much at any hour of the day. Still a gorgeous piece of architecture, I'm very fond of this view!

This is the most amazing church ever, such a beautiful church inside and out and the location speaks for itself, me and my partner are getting married here in September and I can't wait, highly recommend visiting this beautiful church.

On a sunny evening, this is clearly the ‘Church of the Setting Sun’. It is a glorious view from quite some space around. It is a historic Church and is open only till 3 pm. Find yourself a lovely seat in Greenwich Park and watch the surreal sunset reflect on this landmark!

Probably one of the most iconic buildings in Blackheath, and certainly the best location.

Nice little church from the 19th century. On the edge of Blackheath, just before going into Greenwich Park. You can park for free from 7pm, otherwise you could pay in the app, PayByPhone I believe.

👍👍 Magnificent church designed by Christopher Wren as the prototype for St. Paul’s Cathedral - a must see if you’re in the area of Bank in London - a short walk from the tube station - it is where the Samaritans were founded. The temple of Mithras is just across the road.
