I
had
an
appointment
today
Friday
at
17:25
in
the
Lewisham
branch
and
they
treated
me
like
rubbish.
I
arrived
to
the
shop,
and
had
to
wait
in
reception
to
be
attended,
while
the
client
in
front
of
me
was
being
attended
by
a
member
of
staff.
After
a
while,
the
staff
member
had
a
moment
to
ask
me
if
I
had
an
appointment
and
he
then
went
to
find
a
colleague
to
take
care
of
me.
I
walked
with
her
to
her
desk.
She
took
her
time
to
check
all
my
details
in
the
computer
and
then
asked
me
what
time
my
appointment
was.
I
said
17:25,
and
her
answer
was
that
I
was
late
and
they
only
allow
5
minutes
to
be
late.
So
she
went
to
ask
the
optometrist.
When
she
came
back,
she
asked
me
to
leave,
because
the
optometrist
was
not
going
to
see
me,
as
(according
to
her)
I
was
12
minutes
late,
and
they
only
"forgive"
5
minutes.
I
explained
that
I
arrived
to
the
shop
quite
a
while
ago
and
I
had
been
waiting
in
the
reception.
But
she
repeated
that
I
was
12
minutes
late,
and
that
I
had
to
leave.
I
reiterated
that
I
was
waiting
for
a
while
in
the
reception
for
them
to
attend
me
(btw,
you
can
check
in
the
cameras
the
time
I
arrived
there).
She
repeated
I
was
not
going
to
be
attended.
Then
she
looked
back
to
the
computer,
ignoring
me.
I
said
bye
to
her,
she
continued
ignoring
me
and
I
left.
Today
in
this
appointment
I
was
planning
to
make
the
whole
eye
test
plus
the
OCT,
as
I
need
a
new
prescription,
new
glasses
and
new
contact
lenses.
I
was
going
to
try
and
buy
new
glasses,
new
contacts
and
some
contact
solution,
all
in
that
shop.
Obviously
Specsavers
in
general
and
Lewisham
brand
in
particular
have
a
lot
of
clients
and
they
don't
care
to
lose
some
of
them.
My
partner
uses
glasses
and
contact
lenses
too,
and
she
is
a
client
of
Specsavers
(but
not
anymore
from
now
on).
That's
fine,
losing
clients
and
money,
but,
please,
stop
treating
people
like
rubbish.
It's
vital
to
be
kind
and
to
show
respect,
especially
working
in
a
customer
service
role.
I
left
my
job
early
to
travel
to
Lewisham
and
I
spent
money
in
the
train
to
go
there.
Also
my
partner
did
the
same,
as
she
was
going
to
help
me
to
find
new
glasses.
But
it
turns
out
it
was
a
wasted
trip
for
both
of
us.
I
feel
like
I
was
treated
unfairly
today
and
that
an
excuse
was
given
for
not
keeping
my
appointment.
I
know
I
was
not
12
minutes
late,
arriving
to
the
shop,
and
it
was
a
long
time
after
my
arrival
that
it
was
pronounced
that
I
was
12
minutes
late.
I
feel
really
upset
about
the
way
that
I
was
treated
and
it
really
did
ruin
my
evening.
I
won't
go
back
to
any
Specsavers
shop
and
neither
will
my
partner.
