Great place! Visited it multiple times and will be going there more. Wizard school and 221b quests were really interesting and challenging. We enjoyed the puzzles and the atmosphere in these quests a lot. I’d really like to check the other quest there. Decorations for the Flying Dutchman looked amazing!

Loved the escape room. Was so much fun doing the Butchers Liar, it was inspired in some details of Silence of the Lambs. We were just two but still so much worth it! We didn't finish on time but they allowed us to do the final clues to finish the game. Will definitely return for the other rooms!

We went there at the weekend. The staff is nice and friendly. Gave information and guidelines clearly which I really like. The room is nicely designed and decorated. We played the theme- the butcher’s liar. We like the story outline, but the designer of game is slightly straightforward and not feeling challenging. We spent less than half hour to escape but we expect more than that. Thus, hope there is some improvement on this regarding the difficulty of the traps. But in general it is good.

Visited as a group of four. It was my first time trying an escape room and I was convinced by my family visiting from Ireland. We escaped the Wizarding School with 21 seconds to spare. The puzzles were varied and engaging. We did need help on a few occasions but found that we were generally on the right track. The room itself is very immersive. The staff were friendly and welcoming and seemed genuinely invested in making sure we had a good time.

Tried the Dutchman with my Brother. Very detailed fitting, decoration in the room. Cool Puzzles, had really fun. The Stearing Wheel was difficult if you know how to sail in reality. During a puzzle the music stopped abruptly. Would come again.

We went to this breakout room especially for the wizards room. All in all the puzzles and clues were great, they included things from Harry Potter which is exactly what we needed, however, the experience fell short due to the electronics/functionality as we had completed certain things and wondered why the game wouldn’t continue, we only found out after asking for clues which lead the game master to realise that something hadn’t worked. This greatly affected the experience as we doubted the following functionality of puzzles leading to waste even more time. I hope this is addressed in future.

We did the Flying Dutchman room as our first experience of doing an escape room as a 2 (we have previously done them in larger groups). It was challenging enough that we did need some clues but the staff encouraged us to ask for help when needed. This is much better than escape rooms where you have time taken off for asking for help. The mechanics of the room were very well thought through and there were some unique features that we hadn’t encountered in escape rooms before. I would definitely come back to try some of the other rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful both before and during the experience.

My favourite escape rooms in London. My partner and I did almost all of the rooms and they're consistently great, very immersive, and incredibly well designed. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. Definite recommend!

I've done quite a few escape rooms in my life and I'm sorry to say but did not enjoy this one at all. We did War on Horizon Alpha which sorry for mild spoilers but contains a total of 4-5 puzzles (and stuff didn't even work well). I really enjoyed 1.5 of those. Strictly linear (hard to do otherwise with this amount of puzzles) and fortunately there was 3 of us, don't know what more people would've added. Very little stuff in the room, a weird built-in hint system that keeps cycling and makes it even more confusing, no real logic to some decisions where you just have to guess until one works. Definitely not recommend.

While the escape rooms are well designed and engaging, the escape masters are not up to the level. I've done two of their escape rooms now and I won't be returning, because both times I was there, we were given the wrong clue, due to the fact that the escape master was clearly not paying attention to what we were doing, and this made us lose time. This is literally their job, but I have the feeling that they just chill and talk to each other instead of paying attention, which is unprofessional. If you can escape without any clues, go ahead, otherwise, go somewhere where they actually value their customers.

Nice room and atmosphere, however for one of the clue you had to frame a picture with a tablet under a torchlight, it was extremely fiddly to get both the torchlight and the table at the right angle, then you had to step back with the tablet just to see the whole clue appearing on the screen and not just part of it. Staff was not very friendly. (Didn’t tell us what puzzle we missed). One of the worse escape room we’ve done.

My friends and I did the Wizarding School room and it was simply mind blowing! The attention to detail is awesome and the puzzles are super creative. The staff is very helpful and fun and they really get you immersed in the story. We will definitely be going back!

I can understand that the design of the rooms is well done, and it might've been good at some point, they feel worn down and tired now... Do NOT come here if you have any sort of sensory processing issues or accessibility restrictions.. the waiting area is so incredibly loud and echoing that by the time we made it into the room, the two autistic people in our group were completely overwhelmed... not to mention getting snapped at by staff, for trying to do what their colleague told us to do... Then once in the room you could hear music from several other rooms, and incessant beeping from the walkie-talkie docks in the main area. We also called ahead, and were told that music could be turned off in the room, after explaining that we had people in our group with sensory issues.. only the find out once we were there that this wasn't possible. They also don't specify ahead of time that the room relies on sound ques at several points.. meaning my hard of hearing friend missed these ques and had to rely on us to explain to her, despite again having explained this when calling ahead. Sadly there were also several puzzles in the room that were not reset, and were already solved. We were told on several occasions by staff that they were short staffed, so I guess that was the cause, but maybe take less bookings then.. I guess this was also the reason for the toilets being disgusting. In the end the experience was so draining for half our group, and our friend ended up with an unfortunately very public autistic meltdown, we ended up having to cancel the rest of our day. It's sad to see businesses still getting accessibility so wrong in this day and age.. a ruined birthday could've been entirely prevented if the person on the phone had given honest and accurate details in regards to sound levels. *Side note.. the cute costumes you see in the pictures, you are not allowed to wear in the escape room.. it's only for posing in front of a badly lit wall at the end. Kinda weird, but ok...

We had the BEST time here!! I won't say too much as it'll spoil the experience for others. We did the wizard room and we had so much fun. Lots of surprises. We did have to ask for help but it still kept the mystery of it all. Our other group did the ship room and they said it was awesome! Staff are great as well. Really warm welcome. Will definitely be heading back to try the other rooms.

Their timing policy is not realistic. The reason being that they book the rooms 1.5 hours apart which leaves almost no buffer for them to re-set the room, debrief, and intro for the new group. They rush through the story and rush through the debrief. It doesn’t feel immersive in that way. The game master seemed to hate her job, and it kind of ruined the experience. They should really tell you that you booked for a time that they want you to show up, not tell you that on time means late after you arrive. I’ve been to dozens of escape rooms. They are the only ones with such a draconian policy, and they are quite salty about it. Shame as I wanted to try all the rooms here.

My significant other and I have done nearly 50 escape rooms previous to coming to Breakin Escape. We did both the heist plan and the wizarding rooms and had an absolute blast. These two rooms easily sit atop our favorite rooms of all time. Our game master, Digby, was amazing and the rooms are loads of fun. Definitely recommend giving one of their rooms a try! You definitely won’t regret it!!!!

We had a great time doing the Wizarding-themed escape room here!! We were a team of three siblings with only a small amount of escape room experience, and we found it super fun and challenging but not stressful which was ideal. We escaped the room but we did have quite a few hints – if you are more experienced and don’t want clues, make that clear to your games master as ours helped us unprompted a few times. We didn’t mind that though as we were just there to have fun and were keen to complete. The room itself is really detailed and cool, great attention to detail and plenty of “magic” as per the theme. Joe our games master was hilarious. We definitely have the escape room bug now and look forward to escaping our next one without help next time!!

Absolutely love this place! Have been so many times and enjoy it every single visit! It never gets old or boring. Prices are reasonable, rooms are great fun, challenges teach you new things and staff are helpful! I only have 2 games left to play, so really looking forward to more exciting concepts! Would be lovely to see a little restaurant / coffee shop opening up at the back with themed items on the menu! Parking isn’t always that easy to find but the tube station is a short walk away. Babies are allowed if child care is not an option and picture opportunities with dressing up items are waiting at the end!

An absolutely great experience we had as a group of 6! We had friends over for a long weekend and decided to try escape rooms for the first time for all of us! We loved it so much that we came back for a second escape room 2 hours later! The staff were great explaining everything beforehand, and all the way through when we needed a bit of a push in the right direction! A great time and we are looking forward to trying different rooms soon!

I've done three of the escape rooms here : Wizarding School : brilliant theming, great puzzles and ambience. Sherlock's Despair : tricky but really fun - a challenge to complete and very satisfying. Joker's Trap : fun, but quite short, didn't feel as immersive or have as many intricate details as the first two. Overall, a great venue and well worth a visit if you enjoy puzzles and teamwork.

Excellent team running it, we enjoyed the pirate themed escape room which was a level three, and I agree it was a level three as we do one every month. The location is easy to get to but do ensure you take a drink with you as it was quite warm! There are lockers you can store your stuff safely.

Terrible experience, host was moody (0 energy), we lost 15 mins of the full 60 since we were 5mins late due to traffic/parking, clues were given out regardless if we asked for one or not. Out of the many eacape rooms I have been in, this one was by far the worst experience.

  • 5/5 Sultana M. 1 year ago on Google
My sisters and I did the sherlock Holmes one and we throughly enjoyed it. I have to admit we needed to ask for a few hints to help us along the way. Service was impeccable and highly recommend it.

My friends and I have had so much fun playing these escape rooms! We have done 5 of them now, and we plan to do the final two, as well. Butcher’s Lair and Wizarding School were by far my favorite so far. The staff are all so kind and the rooms have some really cool designs and features to them. Definitely recommend. Shout out and gratitude to Noel, Brian, Ed, and Gia for helping us out today, you rock!

Really disappointing experience. As a team of 2 we took on War on Horizon Alpha. It's a Star Wars themed room that on first impression looks pretty cool but on inspection is very run down. The level of finish on the decor is really poor and definitely feels like a room that's been played for 5+ years. The puzzles also needed some love - interacting with the computer yields no feedback so you can't tell if you're doing anything. The puzzles didn't naturally lead one onto the other and were more about fiddly precision than thoughtful problem solving. The staff were perfectly lovely, but weren't as immersive as other rooms I've tried. And the game masters didn't seem to be competent using radios as they were super distorted when replying to requests for hints. I'll consider doing the Harry Potter themed room, but otherwise I'm not convinced I'll return here as there are better options available at the same price point.

Done a few team building days here from work. Few good rooms to get out of. Like a 60 minute crystal maze challenge. Would recommend improving ventilation but all in all a good experience.

very amazing place. although we were slightly late and came with less than we had ordered they still allowed us to play and even gave us some extra time as we were very close to solving it after the hour had ended. would definitely recommend.

Never really had a bad experience with escape rooms. This one was no different, really nice and simple one room escape room, but expected it to be slightly harder as advertised and a bit more interactive.

  • 4/5 Vitaliy K. 2 years ago on Google
Had a great experience doing the wizardry themed room with my wife. There were many challenges to solve and unfortunately we didn’t manage to solve them all within the allotted 60 minutes. The assistant informed us that the escape percentage was around 50%, so it was to be expected. We weren’t sure what to expect exactly but the whole experience was great. The staff were very friendly and were on hand to answer any questions we had. Some of the puzzles didn’t work first time despite being correct but overall worth a visit for sure. Would recommend more than 2 people for the wizardry room though, as there are quite a lot of puzzles to solve.
