Stayed for almost a week. I felt uncomfortable in the hotel, but besides that, I just expected more from a 5 star hotel. If this place was advertised as a 4 star, my review would be higher The hotel sign is in a strange angle, such as you can only see it if you are right outside, so the hotel might be hard to find if you don’t look at the number. The elevator is very small, a bit too small for an entire hotel. The room was very small, which is kind of expected in London. However, it was the distribution of the space what bothered me the most. The bathroom was huge, yet there wasn’t a lot of space to place your cosmetics. The mirrors were small and positioned in a way that a tall person would have a hard time staring at them. The worst about the room was that the closet was small, and that one of the doors was not openable because it would hit the night table. This is a fatal design mistake and it made me extremely upset. It was so hard to get things in an out of the closet. Inaceptable for a 5 star hotel. The bed was comfortable Breakfast was very nice. However, if you wanted a latte, you had to pay for it. I couldn’t believe it, you are giving me all the salmon I can eat but you are going to make me pay a latte? Well it is what it is.

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and provided everything we needed. It was small - but many hotel rooms are in London. All the staff were very attentive. Great location - lots of cafe bars/restaurants close by, tube station is only a 5 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again,

A boutique hotel in South Kensington. The first thing that struck me was a picture of Che Guevara in the reception. I assume that the irony of an image of a communist revolutionary in a supposed 5 star hotel has been lost somewhere... Anyway the hotel itself is a quirky little place full of artistic flair. My room was a little on the small side and the foot or so space either side of the extremely comfortable bed made access to the wardrobe very difficult. They gave me two bottles of mineral water each day plus chocolates, biscuits and crisps which was a nice touch. Unfortunately there was no fridge. The room was very well serviced but strangely half a pack of gum had been left on the safe. Somewhere to hang your jacket would be good and there's ample space behind the door. The shower was hugely powerful and the bathroom was spotless with high quality toiletries. I very much enjoyed breakfast. Well worth a visit. All the staff that I encountered were first class.

Such exquisite surprising design! Room is a bit small but that is to be expected. It had a balcony and the decor is so fantastic and cozy you forget it's small. I felt VIP there! It is definitely a Good Vibe feeling hotel! Good value and great location. I really love this hotel and will stay here again! The only food option is pizza which is really cool.... But..... The pizza isn't very good. If they changed the pizza chef it would be awesome!

Now the only London hotel I’ll book! The location is perfect and the hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. We loved the decor from top to bottom. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The staff, especially Chigo at the front desk and Amalia in the lounge, are so helpful and friendly-they felt almost like friends by the end of our stay!

Really average. Style over substance. A bit disorganised although depends which staff are on duty. Could be cleaner. (Especially during a pandemic). Not as quiet as you'd think it should be.

The experience from beginning to end was outstanding. It was my 60th, a surprise birthday from my partner, hotel in on it and made up the room with a few surprises. Hotel Staff fabulous, friendly and helpful. Hotel decor loved it quirky, imaginative, unique and attention to detail exquisite. Bed and pillows so comfortable I had the best nights sleep in months, no alcohol involved either just pure comfort. The shower was fantastic, heat of room to your own taste easy to use. Very clean. The best hotel I have stayed in. We will be back. I did not want to leave. Great access to London, lovely little market shop round corner beautiful and can recommend Rocca Italian restaurant 5 min walk away, fresh pasta, great staff. Best hotel experience ever. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to a great team.

Just wow! Just want to start off by saying have lovely and attentive all the staff were! The vibe and feel of the hotel was on another level. This was a birthday treat for my partner. When we were all checked in we headed up to our beautiful room. Safe to say we were blown away. The room had been decorated for his birthday. Thankyou for making us feel so special.

An interesting hotel… was not sure that it was 5 stars, but certainly wasn’t too bad. The location is great, but the rooms are tiny. The air conditioning for the room didn’t work too well so it was a bit stuffy in the room.

This is a pleasant enough hotel, but it's no way 5-star like it claims. It's more like a quirky, arty B&B. It lacks the usual hotel services (e.g. restaurant)and is a bit DIY in its quality of interior/rooms etc. To be honest, it's overpriced and a bit overrated.

Excellent location on a fairly peaceful street right in the heart of South Kensington, stone's throw from the tube and museums. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and really helpful. The decor is quirky, although it often felt like they're trying *too* hard with it (external sign orientation illegible unless you're standing under it, claustrophobic completely astroturfed lift etc). Our room was tiny, which isn't unexpected given the price and location, but it just wasn't at the level you'd expect for a 4 star hotel. Only one small mirror in the very dimly lit bathroom, too far away from any plug sockets to use an implement like a hairdryer in front of. Dodgy exposed wiring for the LEDs in the shower. Could go on, but overall we still thought the hotel was good value for the area - just could do with a few improvements!

Lovely hotel. Probably wouldn't say it was 5 star but still a very pleasant 2 night stay. Continental breakfast was spot on 👌 Room facilities weren't 5 star, paintwork in bathroom wasn't done to high quality and paint missing in places, but it was clean and serviceable.

Whoever decorated this hotel must have had a lot of fun because it is an unexpected collage of objects, colors and shapes. The hotel staff was very attentive and the bartender was a riot. We had a room with a small terrace and full minibar. Only complaint is that the lighting over the sink is inadequate for make-up/shaving. Breakfast was excellent.

We booked a 6-night stay in a superior double with balcony, and it was a great experience. The staff were kind and helpful (one of the front desk folks even gave us breakfast at 5:00 a.m. while we were waiting for our car to the airport), and we loved our room. It was, unsurprisingly, a little on the small side, and it would have been helpful to have had more storage space for our long-ish stay. That said, the bed was incredibly comfortable (even for my 6'4" husband), the room was dark and quiet at night, the balcony was pleasant, and the bathroom was wonderful. I'm going to miss that bathroom for a while--a deep tub with a seemingly never-ending supply of hot water, great water pressure in the rainfall shower, and I think the floors were even heated. And of course, the art makes this place extra-special. Location is excellent--nearby access to the Underground, easy walking distance to the Royal Albert Hall and museums, and a number of good restaurants within a stone's throw. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location and very nice staff, but the rooms are small, the bed is way too near the wall, the mirror is in the closet and the breakfast was poor. I know it's a boutique hotel but it doesn't looks like a 5 stars hotel, but you pay for the location.

I was in London for business. My room was OK. In particular I liked having the balcony which was a good size and at the rear of the hotel, hence peaceful. However in the room there was no proper desk and chair that I could use for work.

Amazing exhibition going on at the moment, absolutely love the artwork. Looking forward to breakfast there and seeing more exhibitions in the future. Perfect place to meet up for a coffee or brunch.

Very welcoming stay for a weekend in London. 5 minutes from tube station. Area around hotel was quiet and Hotel was well presented and modern. Continental breakfast was the only option but plenty of choices. Bar was reasonably priced and you can order pizza throughout the night. Rooms were quirky and spacious. Proper coffee machine also. Will book here again.

Great hotel design and service. The location is amazing too in the posh Kensington neighborhood next to great restaurants and stores. The rooms are a bit tiny though.

Everything was impressive as it was value for money for the location, 15 min walk from Harrods etc. The balcony was wide enough for us to sit and enjoy our coffee and it was quiet at night for a good nights sleep. The only thing that let the hotel down was the cleaner who decided to hoover and start cleaning at 8:30am, not being very considerate of guests sleeping. She was speaking loudly to her colleagues to the extent we heard everything they spoke about, and it just seemed unfair as we got in super late the night before and it was a Saturday morning for gods sake. I know you want to let people check in earlier etc if the room is cleaned BUT dont let that be at the expense of other peoples peace. I was fuming because I genuinely couldn’t fault the location, friendly staff and CLEAN rooms… however, being woken up on a Saturday morn, with hoover noises and loud voices was a total let down. Many thanks to every single staff member on shift 17th Nov (after4pm) specially the young lady who helped us and told us about the important stuff we needed to know 24hr room service was AMAZING to have. 24 hr pizza is amazing! Decor was quirky and I loved that.

What a great hotel! From the large Bull in the entrance, the front desk made out of books, the eclectic interior, and the artificial grass in the lift, this was a great place to stay. Situated close to museums, pubs, shopping, and a couple of tube stations that serve Heathrow, it is in a good location for travelers. The check-in was easy, the front-desk staff were very knowledgeable. There gave us some good tips about the neighborhood and oriented us to the hotel pretty quickly. The rooms are European sized, meaning that you have only a couple of feet around the bed. The bathrooms were very large featuring a tub and separate shower, though the lighting was a little low making it a challenge for the wife to do her morning routine. There was coffee an tea service in the room along with a television. Bed was extremely comfortable and the curtains kept the light out effectively. There was a small closet to hang things, an iron, ironing board, and an in-room safe. There is art throughout the building with each floor decorated differently and some interesting art in the stairwell. Morning breakfast is pretty good, and the hotel bar is great for pre-dinner drinks. We stayed twice during the same trip, both rooms were equally pleasant, one just with a green motif and the other with a red motif.

Excellent hotel, location is spot on and just off the main roads for it to be nice and quiet later on. Rooms excellent, little small but to be expected in London. Staff were excellent from start to finish

Absolutely excellent. Got a good rate and had a lovely clean, classic room with a generously sized en suite. Customer service was superb too.

Lovely hotel, very quirky decor. Hot tub in the room was amazing and the Halloween decorations shown in the photo were very cool- a mixture of vodka and food colouring to create the rainbow jars behind the bar! The pizzas were delicious as was the lychee and Disaronno drink I had. Great location, just around the corner from the natural history museum and walking distance to tube stops. Would recommend a visit and would definitely stay here again.

Great location, confused check in, bedrooms a bit small. No way to easily restock room supplies, coffee, tea etc, when room not serviced.

Nice place! We stayed in a room with a balcony, which was great. The room wasn't huge but was nicely decked out with a really nice bathroom so that the overall size didn't matter so much. Good bed, clean, nice friendly atmosphere and attentive and helpful staff. Will stay again for sure.

Room was somewhat smelly and worn down. Not sure about 5 stars, but it's totally fine for the price. They have a bathtub in the room, which is great. Noize isolation is poor, unfortunately

Major noise issues at night from the next room, and a neighbouring property. (ie. a private flat with very loud music blasting through the wall right next to the bed at 11.30pm. Of course the hotel can’t control the neighbouring property occupants, but I explained the situation to the night manager, who came in to the room, heard the noise and told me there was nothing he could do as he didn’t have any other rooms. This meant the only option left was to book another hotel and move across London at midnight. The night manager confirmed I would receive a full refund that would take 3-4 days to go through. After a week, I still hadn’t received that. I followed up to receive a reply from Sarah, the general manager telling me that the night manager had not offered me a refund (lie) and she instead offered me a £30 voucher towards another stay at the hotel from my initial £300 booking as a “goodwill gesture”. Are you actually serious? They will undoubtedly refute these claims as they have proven themselves to be consistently dishonest. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, in fact this is the only negative review I’ve ever left - but I felt I should warn others about this situation. Do not trust them.

Super friendly attitude towards a customer. I had to cancel 2 rooms in a very last moment. Giving a full explanation, I was reimbursed in full. Very professional and will be me definite choice for the next time!

Good price for the quality of the room. Staff need some training. On their personal mobile phones on the reception desk not paying attention to guests. Not great customer service. Rooms are 5 star, service 3 star. Great location

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in March 2022. The hotel was querky and very interesting. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room we had was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Had the best 2 nights sleep in this place. I would 100% recommend this hotel . Thank you

I think they have decent rooms and the specific room I had was the "Drop dead gorgeous suite" that's usually booked months in advance... All I can say is Wow! Superb experience and I've started all over the world, the room was roomy considering the size of most rooms in London, there is service of needed, the bar has an happy hour in the evenings, it Ajayi has your typical London breakfast either enjoyed downstairs or brought to your room. The only downfall to be was using stays to actually get to your room but I do believe that's typical once again for the country. My room has a jacuzzi inside with a TV and unique sound speakers, well lit, shower wit multiple points of splash, rainfall, mist, and handheld sprayer. It's expensive but fit a special occasion, worthy. The staff is helpful even with recommending local restaurants and there are many eateries ask within walking distance. The museum is also about a 5 min walk but it wasn't easy leaving the room. My a/c writhed fine in the room no issues. It's definitely bin and stay here again.

I stayed at the squint splash suite which I booked for my boyfriends birthday treat. The rooms are bit out dated. The bed really needs replacing as the mattress was all lumpy and woke up with backache. The worst beds I've slept on in a hotel! Although the bathroom was the best part, spacious big bathroom and the hot tub/jacuzzi was very nice however the hotel needs a bit of updating for the price of the room.

Nice hotel in good location. Stayed in Trash city room which is a gimmick and lights were not working in room. Bed was not that comfortable. Nice drinks at the bar though for a hotel playing music with sweat words was very unprofessional. Breakfast was extremely poor. Don’t book breakfast as served to room lots of nice cafes near by.

It's a fun design. The reception team were good even if the night reception didn't offer me any breakfast order as I checked in at 10pm (orders before 8pm 🙄 only ) Next day at check out the Manager didn't even bother with a greeting at midday - oh well.

WAY TOO SMALL. Room 205 has only 1 foot of space on each side of the bed and 2 feet at the end of the bed. Only by moving furniture could we make space to lie our suitcases down and open them. But by moving the furniture we could no longer open the door fully. And, the suitcases blocked the narrow walk way so we had to climb over the bed to get to the other side. The space is so narrow that there is no room to pass your companion, so you have to shuffle around together. When the closet doors open they touch the bed! The room is essentially unusable and should not be made available to guests. Similarly in the bathroom there are shelves but they are too small to hold a toiletry bag.
