Excellent location in the heart of the city. The hotel is only two blocks from the nearest tube station and within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions. When we checked in the staff informed us that we got upgraded to a Premium room. Once we got to the room we discovered that the only difference between standard and premium room is the size of TV. The breakfast buffet was very good.

This place is 100/10. Amazing location, staff, cleanliness, and overall. I stayed here the week of opening and everything from breakfast (Beet latte is a must) to the beautiful gym to the nice view from the room. The room was one of the nicest I've stayed at in Europe. The facilities are beautiful. The contemporary feel throughout the hotel was sublime. The staff was very responsive and courteous. 100% will stay here again next time I'm in London, hands down the best Hilton I've stayed at in Europe.

New hotel room that we couldn’t get cleaned. When we checked in, we found items from the last customer. Papers, socks, and receipts throughout. We stayed 5 nights and the room was cleaned twice. They’d clean the toilet and make the bed. That’s it. Sink and shower always looked dirty. One day they took all the towels and did not replace them. It took over 8 hours to get towels after requesting them twice. We wanted to like this newly renovated hotel with a cool hip vibe in London City. The bus station is across the street and the Underground station is a block away. Food option is only Indian food. Cocktails were not good at all. We went to a nearby hotel for drinks the entire stay. The lobby and common area was overheated. Also, the air in the room auto shuts off at night. Had to get up each night to turn it back on.

I spend ten days at the newly opened Canopy by Hilton hotel. In the midst of a pandemic and staff shortages, this hotel was EXCELLENT! The staff was wonderful; making sure you were well taken care of. The food was very good, a beautiful CLEAN gym and room service was wonderful. Also in late spring of 2022, there will be a rooftop bar, which looks to be beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to the amazing city of London!

I stayed at the Canopy London early November and had a fantastic time. The gentleman and the front desk whose name I believe was Dhirin (forgive my misspelling) made me feel instantly at home during my first trip to a new country. He made my stay so memorable and offered great suggestions. The room was clean and spacious (pictured) and all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again for any future visits to London. I was so impressed.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the breakfast service at Canopy by Hilton London city and it was truly delightful. The spread of options was impressive, from freshly baked pastries to a variety of fruits and made-to-order omelettes. The attention to detail and presentation of the dishes showcased the care and thought put into the experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that every request was met with a smile. It was a wonderful start to my day, and I can't wait to return for another memorable breakfast.

Love everything about this hotel. Soon as we landed London, took an Uber straight to here. It was about £70 which is not bad considering it was rush hour and was in Uber for about two hours. Could have ridden a train too but did not want to deal with the transfers and all. Had an upgrade for having Hilton status, our room had a view of the Gherkin. Always kept clean and fully stocked. Had a fantastic breakfast or if you are on the run they have yogurt and fruit service. They have water fountain outside the room, it seemed free from the London tap water controversy. The staff has been welcoming and over the top the whole one week of our stay. The room is sooo comfortable and it helped with our jetlags and recuperating after all the walking and tours we did. Plenty of food options nearby within walking distance. Bus and train station nearby too. Also, the fact that they have a rooftop bar is a big plus!

Perfect location and stay. Rooms are very nice and I've never slept on a bed this good. Good shower and facilities in the room. Very quiet rooms also! Good connections for public transport. Bar downstairs was a bit messy, not enough staff or knowledge. Rooftop bar not open, this looks promising. Would love to come back for that when it's open! Don't buy the "breakfast" to the room with the paper bag. Not a breakfast but more a small morning yogurt (espresso size).

Had an amazing weekend in London in this hotel. They even decorated my room for my birthday and gave me a cute cake and a welcome letter. That was so sweet and really made my day even better. Thank you so much! The breakfast was great, although a little crowded. The guy at the bar, whose name I can't remember (sorry!!)was super nice and made us a cocktail "which we will like" and so we did! :) The location is awesome, just a short walk from metro and tower bridge. Overall, a fantastic stay. I would love to come again!

Perfection in every detail. I have not seen a hotel that cares so much about its guests for a long time. For a weekend trip on the occasion of my friend's birthday, I had booked a room and asked in advance by e-mail for a quiet room. In the email I mentioned that we were coming from Munich to London for the Abba show. What awaited us then on arrival, has made me speechless. Not only were we upgraded to a beautifully appointed, quiet Junior Suite, but the entire room was decorated with an Abba theme including balloons and cake. The entire team of the brand new, very stylish and high quality hotel in an absolute top location of London was motivated and friendly beyond measure. Breakfast is an experience and something for everyone. Many, many thanks Canopy London. Anyone who does not stay with you on a city trip to London is doing something wrong ;-)

Our stay at the Hilton London City was excellent. It is a beautiful hotel, with wonderfully helpful staff. We were able to check in early, which was great as we were transferring hotels in the city, and still jet lagged. Our room was large, with comfortable beds and a beautifully modern and clean bathroom. The Air Conditioning worked great (which we were grateful for) and there was lots of space to spread out and relax when we weren't out and about in the city. I loved that on check in with the app I was able to pick my own room and floor - that was the first time I've seen that feature in a hotel. Our room was incredibly quiet - did not hear any noises from the hallway or neighbouring rooms. Every part of the hotel was welcoming. Bus and tube stations are very close by (right around the corner), so the city is super accessible from here. I would highly recommend.

Just had my first stay at the Canopy and it was definitely a 10/10 experience. The hotel itself is stunning, it’s huge, the decor is beautiful and it’s very clean. It looks better than it does in the pictures! The staff were amazing, not only were they super helpful in making this the best experience for a birthday, but they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and special. The room was just perfect, the bed was probably the most comfiest, the decor was so chic and different to any hotels I’ve stayed in before but in a really good way, the bathroom was just as good. One of the biggest factors for me was cleanliness and it’s one of the many reasons I’d give this hotel a 10/10. The robes, socks and slippers in our king room were also a lovely touch! For the price, I can honestly say this was more than worth it. Overall, this has to be one of the best stays I’ve had. I’ve stayed in numerous hotels in London and this has got to be the best! A big thank you goes to all the staff for making this stay so special!

Our room was very clean and the location was great. We had two tube stations very close by and walking distance to many interesting places. The staff was amazing and everyone was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and the hostess at the restaurant was so nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Canopy by Hilton. Service was friendly, professional and exceptionally helpful. The room was amazing and very comfortable. We slept very well. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel is incredibly clean and attractive. By far the most stand out thing really was the team of staff who were so helpful, thoughtful and friendly.

Rooms (even the standard rooms) are quite spacious. The amenities are all there, nothing what I missed. The drinking water and ice cube stations which are in each floor are very good. The breakfast is awesome. The hot food is so tasty, the coffee is remarkably good. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help.

We were delighted with our stay at Canopy. From the moment we checked in we felt that our needs were well looked after. It’s not every day that a hotel goes above and beyond, and we felt that Canopy did that- it’s the small touches- a welcome card, chocolates hand-delivered to the room, and a complimentary personal drinks tasting provided by the bar, for instance, that added a personal touch and make guests feel specially catered for, and not just a room number. This is all on top of a stunning modern building with artistic flair and unique décor. Strongly recommend if visiting London!

My partner and I had a great stay here. From top to bottom this hotel is stylish, comfortable, and has great amenities. Our beds were really comfortable, the shower was fantastic, and I loved how they had unlimited purified water and ice just down the hall. That was a huge bonus! The breakfast is expansive and has anything you could want. We also really loved the people who work here including Ahmed and Rascim. They took care of us and always made sure we had what we needed. The location was also perfect for exploring the city center and is just a 5 min walk from things like the Gherkin. We really enjoyed every part of our stay here!

Lovely hotel with incredibly friendly staff who made our stay extra special. Spent a long weekend over my birthday in December and only just getting around to leaving a good review as they fully deserve it! Great location, service and room - can only speak highly of our experience.

We booked a twin room and got a barrier-free room, which doesn't really bother us. But the bathroom sink was too low and small. The shower area is flooded. The toilet is too difficult to flush. For this price category is just No-Go! (280£p.N) The entire team was kind and friendly, except for Mr. Greg at reception, please show a smile, the first impression counts and the last remains! The rooftop bar was great! The breakfast was all fine. The location was ideal.

Hotel is right next to an underground station and a bus stop, so very convenient when traveling. Rooms are modern, bathrooms are nice though a bit small. The showers could use a bit of attention when cleaning on the walls near the floor, as there were several mildew spots. Rooms had tea, coffee and biscuits/cookies available. Breakfast was standard. My vegan husband was able to find enough to eat, and there was either soy or almond milk available every morning. Apparently you are not allowed to eat outside food at the lobby tables, which we didn't find out until we had finished a quick meal. Overall, the hotel was nice and comfortable during our stay in London. We would likely stay again.

Dear Georgia, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional service you provided during our stay at Canopy by Hilton London City. Your thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. From the beautiful heart-shaped petal arrangement on our bed to the warm welcome letter, delightful assortment of sweet desserts, and decorative balloons, every touch was incredibly thoughtful and made us feel incredibly special. Your dedication to creating a memorable experience for your guests is truly remarkable. I would also like to mention that the hotel itself surpassed all our expectations. The stunning views, well-appointed rooms, and delicious breakfast options made our stay truly incredible. Once again, thank you, Georgia, for going above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration so memorable. We will definitely recommend Canopy by Hilton London City to our friends and family, and we look forward to returning in the future. Warm regards, Joaquin Ruiz

We were bought a trip up the Shard for Christmas by our kids and a stay at the Canopy overnight was superb. The hotel is fairly new and was mostly empty whilst we were there but the staff were very attentive and looked after us really well. The room was quite small but had everything we needed although the bare concrete ceiling was not to our liking.

I have been visiting The City for business for decades and struggled to find a hotel that meets and exceeds the needs of a business traveler and that demonstrates a real focus on customer service as well. And since the pandemic nearly every change I've experienced at hotels has been negative. But the Canopy stands out as steadily surprising in good ways: --there is still daily room-cleaning service and they actually refresh the coffee and biscuits and change the towels --the in-room paper products are high quality and they haven't removed the notepad and pen others have --there are plenty of outlets placed where you actually want them --they supply nice robes and slippers and a good iron --the automatic shades and curtain really do make the rooms dark and quiet, unlike many --the front desk is truly welcoming and well staffed and takes care of lots of little requests quickly as if they want to help instead of as if you are annoying them--they deliver packages directly to rooms, etc. --the fitness center is open 24 hours and is well equipped and the machines actually work, unlike as some fancy City hotels I've stayed at --they have loaner umbrellas --the elevator security system is good --the breakfast buffet is the best value in London, IMHO I wish they had a hotel pull in area for cars and drivers but that is a small nit.

Great location. The hotel is in walking distance of several restaurants and only two blocks from the nearest tube station. When I checked in the staff upgraded me to a larger room at no charge. If you have the Hilton app you can request a virtual key on your phone, so you don't have to keep up with a room key card. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

What can I say other than wow. This hotel is just incredible. Brand new, literally opened a few months back. The room was lovely and modern (thanks for the free upgrade!). The breakfast was just amazing, soo tasty. The service from initially stepping into the hotel was outstanding, even greeting us each and every time we walked past a staff member. This hotel and every member of staff is a credit to the Hilton brand. Shall certainly be staying here again in the future.

Lovely hotel. Cosy and luxurious rooms. With eye-catching decor. The most comfortable and large bed ever. Stayed one night with another guest. Well insulated rooms as I didn't hear anyone from next door or adjacent rooms. Lovely view of EC London. Would stay again. My other guest is a platinum Hilton member, so he frequently stays at this hotel midweek for work. This is a true reflection of the standard of this establishment.

Excellent overall, myself and my wife loved it. From the time we arrived, the staff were friendly, and gave lovely welcome gifts as we stayed in the suite room The breakfast was excellent, wide variety of choices. The staff at the kitchen and bar were very helpful and accommodating to any requests we had. Having travelled around the world in many hotels 4 and 5 stars, this is amongst the best Will visit again in future, excellent central London location, close to the main attractions

What a stay! If you’re thinking of booking stop thinking and BOOK!! You will honestly not regret it. The hotel is amazing and the service was impeccable. Melanie at the reception was wonderful and the whole team were so welcoming and thoughtful. It was my partners birthday and they went above and beyond to make it a memorable trip. I’m honestly so blown away at the kindness we received. Everyone we encountered were so lovely. Thank-you to the great bartender who took his time to take some photos of us. The drinks were great too! The room was soo comfy and the place is wonderfully decorated. I love the fact there are so many sockets, I always struggle as there are never enough for my hair appliances. We had a great nights sleep & the bed had great fluffy pillows and I love the decor and the lighting throughout. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was lovely, the food was great and the hot chocolate recommended by the lovely lady was so yummy I had two! I love how modern the whole hotel it is with great places to sit and enjoy the space. This new hotel is fantastic and everything is so well thought out. I’ve already started raving about it to everyone I know. Check-out was also a smooth process and Alberto at checkout was so kind. I will absolutely be back in future! I could write and essay on how superb everything was. My new favourite hotel!!! Thank-you to the wonderful team!!!

Overall good stay. New property and so rooms are spacious and well furnished and maintained in spic and span condition. Service is good and each of the staff was helpful.breakfast was good but lacked variety. The rooms don’t have any dental or shaving kits, bath robe or footwear so please carry them. Very convenient for public transportation with two tube stations and multiple bus stops very close by. Many convenient stores and restaurants nearby . Very close to insurance hub with Lloyd’s nearby

Check in and out of the hotel was very easy, and all the staff that I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and mine was very clean. This was my first time staying at a Hilton hotel, and my room was upgraded because I was chosen as a guest of the day. After a long day of travel, that was surprising and appreciated. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the underground Aldgate station. Also very close to several restaurants/cafes and basically shares a street corner with the bus station. Great for solo travelers, families, or business trips.

New Hotel, Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was great, the room was clean and comfortable. Algate station is nearby for easy access to the City. The only reason not 5 stars, was that the upper levels are not complete, which are larger rooms for families.

Visited here in mid June 2022 - our first holiday post pandemic so lots of travel expectation. This is a really new (less than 6 months at time of writing) hotel so everything looked fresh. The building itself is an architectural gem in the neighbourhood, which is close to the Thames and the Tower of London. It is also within easy reach of a number of tube stations and a major railway station. The rooms are really fantastic - clean, uncluttered with some nods to the industrial heritage of the local area. There are some reviews about the corporate decor but seriously - this is what you need after a bustling day in London, calm neutral colours! The bed was a full king size with amazing pillows (heaven!). The rooms are generous for London standards but I admit I was a bit of a cheeky customer (!!) for a number of reasons but they changed rooms for me a number of times - each time without complaint (thanks again for your understanding) Service is excellent at reception and at the cafe (I didn’t eat at the restaurant - so many options outside!). It is very competitively priced compared to others in the same area.

My daughter & I spent 9 nights here before the beginning of her study-abroad program. We'd selected a hotel in eastern London to be closer to the Goldsmith's campus; this was lucky for us as we happened to be there during the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II (thus we were well out of the way of the crowds and closed-off streets). The room was comfortable and had a great shower. Loved the comfort of the beds and pillows. Room service was fast and great. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel is 2 or 3 minutes from a Tube station which was very convenient. The Tower of London/Tower Bridge was about 8 minutes walking time away. Felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood and many pubs & restaurants were within 20 minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

I spent a couple of nights midweek in the Canopy by Hilton and really enjoyed it. It was in a great location, so close to the tube and plenty of food and drink nearby, and within walking distance to popular places. I chose it because I had to catch a train from Liverpool Street Station and it was only 1 stop away. The place is new and was always bustling in the lobby area, but also I found to be very quiet once I got up to the room. I asked for a quiet room after traveling all day and I was at first worried about the wood floors and possibly hearing guests' footsteps in the room above me, but either it was empty above me or the place was just built well- it was very quiet and I slept very well and the bed was SO comfortable! The room is nice looking and new, and from my window I could see the old and new of London- the Gherkin but then also Georgian buildings and an old church. I guess that's just London, but I thought it was cool. A couple of things in the room could have been cleaner, like one of the towels seemed to have a stain on it, and one of the glasses didn't look completely clean. It was only me, so it wasn't a big deal and I just used the other available towel and glasses, but that's probably my only critique. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to London.

My new favorite hotel in London. New and modern rooms. And solid shower size with great water pressure. A must after a long day walking lovely London! Nice bar in hotel lobby and breakfast helped fuel me up for a day of touring.
