I
registered
with
this
practice
about
four
years
back
when
I
first
moved
to
London
as
it
was
the
closest
and
most
convenient
to
where
I
lived
and
was
recommended
by
my
landlady.
As
far
as
I've
been
told,
once
registered
I
should
have
been
asked
to
come
in
for
a
full
check
up
and
blood
work
to
be
done
so
that
all
pertinent
information
with
regards
to
my
health
would
be
on
record,
but
this
never
happened.
I
filled
out
some
forms,
submitted
them
and
that
was
it.
While
this
wasn't
an
issue
at
the
time,
the
need
to
see
a
GP
for
whatever
reason
now
is
apparently
moot.
Fast
forward
to
today
and
the
practice
seems
to
be
using
the
pandemic
as
an
excuse
to
avoid
accepting
any
sort
of
patient
care.
Attempting
to
walk
in
to
even
book
a
future
appointment
will
just
lead
to
you
being
turned
around
by
the
reception
staff
and
told
that
they're
full
on
bookings
and
that
the
only
way
to
secure
one
would
either
be
online
or
through
the
phone.
Booking
online
is
an
impossibility,
as
their
site
looks
like
it
hasn't
been
updated
since
the
start
of
the
pandemic,
full
of
dead
links
or
ones
that
loop
you
back
around
to
other
pages.
Booking
online
through
the
Patient
Access
app
tells
you
that
this
practice
has
no
online
booking
available.
Attempting
to
book
through
phone
will
have
you
waiting
in
queue
for
hours,
always
starting
at
the
tenth
person
in
line
and
maybe,
just
maybe,
getting
closer
to
a
response
if
you
have
enough
time
in
the
day
to
wait.
There
was
one
instance
where
my
number
went
down
to
9
then
back
up
to
10
after
some
time.
I
was
later
told
by
reception
that
online
booking
was
only
available
between
7
and
10
am,
which
is
simply
not
true
as
I
have
tried
numerous
times
to
book
within
those
hours
with
the
same
results.
Even
if
you
could
get
an
online
consult,
you
would
then
only
receive
a
phone
consult
and
maybe,
just
maybe,
you
might
be
allowed
for
a
face
to
face
with
an
actual
human
being.
There
were
only
ever
two
instances
where
I
was
able
to
get
ahold
of
someone
over
the
phone
and
both
were
emergencies.
One
of
them
required
me
to
contact
111
and
letting
them
know
that
I
needed
immediate
assistance
and
that
my
GP
was
unavailable
and/or
not
responding
to
my
requests.
It
took
them
contacting
my
GP
to
secure
a
phone
consult
to
get
a
prescription
for
the
necessary
meds
to
treat
the
outbreak
of
shingles
I
had
developed.
The
second
instance
I
apparently
had
a
stomach
virus
and
was
told
by
the
GP
to
just
ride
it
out
and
adjust
my
diet
accordingly,
which,
fair
enough,
but
could've
saved
me
two
days
of
agonising
pain
had
they
responded
when
I
needed
them.
The
practice
itself
and
the
waiting
area
are
almost
completely
devoid
of
life
and
the
building
seems
mostly
empty
at
all
times
aside
from
the
two
or
three
people
behind
the
reception.
This
is
despite
the
allegation
that
appointments
are
fully
booked
and
the
practice
is
slammed
with
patients
for
the
foreseeable
future,
preventing
booking
in
advance.
I
am
currently
experiencing
health
related
issues
that
are
affecting
my
job,
forcing
me
to
take
time
off
of
work.
My
bosses
have
advised
me
to
seek
out
my
GP
for
consultation,
but
I
am
unable
to
do
so
because
of
all
this,
which
is
something
so
ridiculous
that
they're
finding
it
difficult
to
believe.
I
understand
the
NHS
is
underfunded
and
the
country
is
going
through
some
tough
times,
but
using
the
pandemic
as
an
excuse
to
avoid
face
to
face
consultations
after
we've
essentially
returned
to
normal
life
is
farcical.
Healthcare
is
a
basic
human
right
and
need;
if
we
can't
see
a
physician
for
health
related
issues
within
a
reasonable
time
frame,
then
what
even
is
the
point
of
having
public
healthcare?
I
have
never
left
a
bad
review
on
anything
in
my
life,
at
least,
none
that
I
can
recall,
but
this
is
something
so
egregious
that
I
feel
it
necessary
to
address
in
the
hopes
that
it
brings
attention
to
the
issue.
