Roe has a great location in Belmont Shore community of Long Beach. They offer street side & outdoor seating in the back patio. Julianna & Chase are the best. Very professional and always have a smile on their face. Make sure that you request them for stellar service. We really love the inside decor that is bright and airy. We enjoy sipping on their cocktails (ask John for off menu cocktails) as we people watch & enjoy the great weather. A definite place to go to when you are in the area and enjoy their great food. Love the artwork on the walls. Great Happy Hour.

Trendy seafood restaurant and bar right on 2nd st with modern vibes, and a patio in the front and back. Had the fried chicken sandwich and it was great. All white meat, lightly fried, with a sesame flavor. Pickles and slaw gave it a perfect crunch. Served w a side salad for $19.50.

Friendly staff, super nice interior. The food was terrific, especially the mains — we all had seafood, which was perfectly made and nicely presented. The dessert was good, but not at the level of the mains. They had live music, which was nice, but a little bit too loud for conversation.

Came here for happy hour on a Friday and it was out of this world! The food was absolutely delicious and the deals were amazing! Nothing we had was more than $7-$8. The drinks were also delicious and the cocktails are such a steal. It’s a great environment, the service is on point, and there was even live music. I hadn’t been here in years but I’m thinking this might be my new happy hour spot from now on!

We just spent a week in Long Beach and we had the opportunity to dine here with our Son who lives there. We went to brunch because of recommendations from family and the availability of outdoor dining. (My wife is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment, so outdoor dining or delivery are our only options). We were blessed with beautiful weather. Our wait staff Mary took excellent care of us. Our coffee mugs and water glasses were kept full. All of the staff were very attentive. All four of us ordered something different and every single dish was amazing! We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back on our next trip to So. Cal.

We were there at 5 pm on a Saturday and got sat pretty quickly. The inside of the restaurant is really pretty. I would recommend parking in the public parking lot a little down the way. The food and service were great. We ordered the poke nachos, fish and chips, the Mexican grilled shrimp, and two cocktails. The poke nachos weren't on the menu but we had seen a lot of pictures online and asked if they were still serving them and they were. Definitely recommend this place. Lots of places to walk around afterward.

Primary criteria, freshness. Second, perfectly cooked. Well made items that impresses, check. Good ambience, check. Good service, check. The sashimi is perfectly fresh and cut well. The fisherman stew ingredients are perfectly cooked, not under not over. The chef slightly undersalted the stew so that it compliments the lightly salted baguette that accompanies it. Very well done. Cerviche is good with the baked tortillas, would be better with smaller chips but no complaints here. Scallops freshness can be tasted from the sweetness. Oysters are great. Perfect afternoon snack! Good fusion of Peruvian and Japanese in a California style seafood restaurant. There's a counter-served fish market next door for to-gos and self service dining if one needs a quickie meal.

5 stars for Creativity, Taste, and Execution! Oh My Gosh, their poke-ceviche nachos are unlike anything I have ever eaten before but it works! Literally, the perfect mixture of two different worlds of flavors. The way the nachos soaked up the juices but weren't soagy, the chips used are perfect. The fresh slices of jalapenos were needed but not overwhelming. The sauces flow together so nicely. The fish roe adds such a subtle contrast in texture and flavor to the sweet, lime, savory flavors already present. I will definitely be back. I am crazy it as I write this. Ridiculous. Seriously, one of the best things I've ever eaten. I'd only critique location for this place and set-up. It is more grab-and-go style, which wasn't ideal when I went. Fortunately, it was a nice day to sit outside. The picture does no justice!

Delicious seafood stop. This is the takeout side of Roe's so there is no table service. The service was quick and the food was cooked well. There's a small amount of outdoor seating. A tad on the pricey side but it's on par for the area.

Went here for lunch and had such a great experience. You were greeted by friendly hostesses that had such great style. Our server Ray was literally a ray of sunshine. The cocktails (mezcali) were perfectly crafted. I got the friend chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and was not disappointed. The DJ crushed it and played such great vibes. The indoor aesthetic is also stunning.

Dog friendly! Was looking for a great restaurant near the beach that was dog friendly. This was perfect. Nice atmosphere. Good staff. They even brought our pup some water. Food was fantastic and they even had good Bourbon. Would definitely come here again. Overall great experience.

What a lovely restaurant. I heard about it because my nephew works there. It was fantastic. All of the food we ordered was amazing - perfectly cooked, full of flavor and texture. It was also beautiful to look at. The bartenders were really helpful in selecting drinks for me. They knew their liquor! We will definitely be back.

I have great memories here - I’ll always cherish them. They used to offer half plates, not anymore. I used to enjoy the calamari fries, poke nachos, clam chowder and a few other things. I enjoy a variety of options which is why the half-plates made this place so special!

A very interesting place. This is the first time I see live olive trees inside a restaurant. The soup is excellent, perhaps tastier than on Pier 39. Live music, in general, I recommend it for visiting safely.

This place really exceeded my expectations. The food was spectacular. I love all of the different pairings. The Poisson Cru was to die for! I can only describe it as a mixture of coconut curry and ceviche. Overall, super impressed with the quality of the food.

An absolute delight! The fusion of flavors in every dish is a testament to the chef's mastery. Attentive service, coupled with a cozy atmosphere, makes it a memorable dining destination.

Everything was delicious! Parking was a little rough but we found some street parking in the residential area behind the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend if you like seafood. We had the spicy steamers starters, the sea bass and the black squid ink linguine.

Great atmosphere and beautiful outdoor seating in the patio. The food is very good. Shrimp cocktail, chicken sesame, superb clam chowder and ceviche tostada. Great happy hour selections and prices. Would definitely recommend to experience for yourself.

The food here was pretty good. Had the poke ceviche, clam chowder & mini crab croquettes for starters, then ordered the sea bass & clam pasta for mains & even had ti-roe-misu for dessert. Husband & I enjoyed everything except the clam pasta, however since we didn’t eat it our server was gracious enough to take it off. Definitely will be back & 10/10 recommend.

We really enjoyed our time here. Scallops were great, oysters were good. Nice arugula salad with a tasty spice. That gin drink though... soo good, and the Poke Nachos were perfect. Poktchos? Maybe I'm getting it wrong.

Best fish tacos anywhere. À la carte is the best deal. This would be 5 star but they've messed up our order a couple times and they've brought in unused salsa to go cups from the tables outside and put them back in with the fresh ones.

What can I say? Everything was perfect. The food menu had so many things that looked good--and then they brought out food out and it was crazy-amazing! Everything was plated beautifully like art. The service was great. All in all, we had a fantastic experience here.

As much as I love the food I have to say I was disappointed about the lack of cleanliness in the outdoor seating area, those orange chairs are plain black and with grime. Those seriously need a steam wash or something, I hope they see my review and do something about it.

Made a reservation for 8 on Yelp and were seated promptly when we got there. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area in the back. Server was attentive and friendly. The fish and chips and fish burger were the biggest hit in our group, followed by the crustacean omelet. The Roe sauce went really well with the fish and chips. We will be back!

Amazing fish and chips! The fries come with vinegar and the dipping sauce for the big chunks of fried fish you get are PERFECT. There is a small selection of fresh and cooked-to-order seafood inside the store. We ordered a grilled salmon ($22) which was perfectly cooked with a crispy skin 😍, also delicious was their clam chowder and raw oysters. But honestly the poke cevichos are way overhyped. They were recommended to us by the server and ended up being the least favorite thing we got. There were way too many chips, and the sauce was also overpowering. I’d much rather have the fresh seafood that we got other than this appetizer rather than be overloaded with chips and sauce. The servers were very nice and had a great outdoor seating atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back for the fish and chips!!

Great spot, I was impressed with our service, atmosphere and quality of food for pretty reasonable prices. We tried the rockfish ceviche and the tacos, both were delicious! I was partial to the blackened shrimp versus the mahi mahi. The chips were great and we were especially impressed with the salsa. We brought our pup and the hostess was kind enough to bring a water bowl for her. Something to note, there is both a sit down restaurant and a cafe style counter service - you have the option of more casual should you wish. We were told they served the same menus for lunch.

The food here is good and the place is beautiful. However I am leaving a low review based on how the restaurant accommodated us. It was mother's day 2022, and we had booked a party of 7 reservation. I had called a month before to make a reservation and I expressed interest in indoor seating since that was where the live music is. I was told over the phone it was fine. When we got there we were seated outside in the sun. When I mentioned we had indoor reservations they said they had no record of it. We stayed anyway because it was mother's day and finding another restaurant would have been a nightmare so we made the best of it. The outdoor patio was nice but they could have had more umbrellas. Also I notice the food and drinks come out a little slower outside too. Like I said the food is good so it wasn't all bad. If you do go, I hope you aren't hosted by the girl with the dreadlocks, she's no help.
