Love this place! There's a walkway that runs along the edge of the bluff and benches you can sit and watch the ocean. You are bound to leave feeling peace, tranquility, a connection with nature and humanity.

Parking is a challenge, but it's a nice, long, park. The sunset views can be incredible. The beach is right below you, along with a playground and public bathrooms. The Queen Mary is is visible, as are the Thums Islands (colorful oil platforms).

So so pretty. The perfect place to go for a run, play volleyball, jump in the water, or simply take a nice walk. This beach is so clean, I had no problem letting my two year old run around. There are bathrooms and drinking fountains, but bring your own drinks if you plan on staying awhile as the amenities are further back from the shore.

Street parking only, but it's free. Watch for fast moving traffic because it's narrow. The park is also narrow, but it's long. The views are nice.

Spring break and nice weather created a log jam for parking but I got lucky this evening. It was a nice night out for us. Calm breeze and warm air. Love the beach.

Piles of garbage and debris everywhere. The ocean littered with every type of junk food wrapper, ironic....Only good thing is that it's not crowded(wonder why?!?) and I did collect a bunch of washed up bamboo for various projects, so I'd return for the bamboo. At least your body isn't covered in sticky, tar like globs of oil when you get out of the water, like it used to be back in the day.....

Love this Park! Spend every sunrise and sunset there if I could. The views are incredible. There's always parking and the FREE yoga class 2x a day makes this pretty close to heaven on Earth.

Beautiful park to walk, skate or scooter. Not too terribly crowded since we went on a cloudy/rainy day. Seems like it would be a nice place to enjoy sunrise abs sunset. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but doable compared to LA.

I like to take my dog up there in the evening. Great view all the way to the Queen Mary. Relaxing walking enjoying the sunset is the best time. Or early morning. Peace be with you and in your life. Willbytheway

Beautiful views. Well maintained. City park staff have their hands full keeping the park clean, but do an excellent job.

The water was dirty. If you're spiritual or conservative in your values this isn't the beach you want to go to. It wasn't the place to take my family to. If you understand the word fitnah, then by all means avoid this place.

Great place to relax and have good time. Family friendly, pet friendly, everyone friendly. Parking on the street can get busy during the day but not too bad.
