Beautiful lake! You can rent a boat or bring your own. There are 2 swim beaches accessible by car and 3 more beaches accessible only by boat. There are picnic areas, bbq grills. The entrance fee $15. Rent kayak $15 per hour. Rent a boat from $45 for 2 hours, $100 all day. Other prices are in the pictures below. Camping $20 per night.

Pyramid Lake is a beautiful lake right off hwy 5. Do not take the exit that signs tell you to. Continue on to the Smokey Bear exit. Seems to open at 7am. I got there about 10 min before and waited in the car line that was already there. Don’t forget if you have ANY water craft that you need to get it inspected (it is right off the road). It got windy pretty early (around 9am). Lots of people there to fish and speed around the lake. Since I paddle board, this, plus the wind made it pretty rough. The woman at the inspection site and the woman at the fee kiosk were super friendly. Sheriffs were in number. I have attached the most recent fee schedule. I wish the conditions were more calm on the water, but I can see why this is a great place for people to visit.

Great place, but don’t follow google maps! They take you to the wrong entrance, it leads you to the Del Lago Education Center, you have to go down the Smokey bear exit to get to the correct entrance. On a side note, the Del Lago Education center is a lovely place and def a good stop if you have kids!

This place is GORGEOUS. Its only 45 mins from the city & its an easy drive/straight shot. The beaches are shut down due to COVID-19 but the boat rentals are still happening for now. The prices are reasonable & its only $12 to access the park area where you can sit and eat, relax by the water, fish, chill & enjoy the Sunshine etc. The park area is REALLY clean. The mountainside area, not so much. The whole area is really dope & a great location for photos as well. I've found a new relaxation spot & couldn't be happier with my first experience there.

Love coming here for a nice weekend get away. not too far from LA. It’s a lake so there’s day use areas, first come first serve. There is overnight camping at a location just down the road. This place is great for friends/fam Pets. Suggest renting the boat and taking it out for a spin!

Our 1st time here and lifeguard Brandon sure gave us a great experience. Very helpful, friendly and truly shows his passion for making sure everyone has a fun and safe time at the lake.

Dog friendly swimming area, but currently experiencing remnants of an algae bloom (July 22), so the dogs were not able to be near the water and it was too hot to be there otherwise. Was able to get a day pass refund, so that was very nice.

Beautiful lake my family and I have been coming to since I was little. Water isn’t very warm but still great to take the boats out on. Clean and wonderfully maintained!

Fun area and even with the algae bloom the water looked pretty nice. Just no swimming which was a bummer. Rented the deluxe pontoon boat and we opted for the 2 hour rental. You pay $350 and then if you bring it back early they recharge charge for $125 (2 hours plus $55 each extra hour). Two hours was enough to cruise around the lake tho not enough to get out and explore. The pontoon says it’s 40 hp which translates to 6mph max speed on the water.

This place was absolutely beautiful. My partner and I stopped in for a little adventure. They have picnic areas, beaches, restrooms, boat rentals and plenty of area to explore. We spent the afternoon soaking up the sun and enjoying each other's company with an amazing view. 10/10 fully recommend....

Water levels are fairly stable. However, jetskis are allowed throughout the whole lake and make for a very frustrating day when trying to relax.
