I ordered an Old Fashioned. I got something back with alcohol and Crushed Bar Ice. It got me drunk. Long Live Bar Clacson. The things I would do for a Mezcaletti with an enormous Ice Cube and in a bar with an abandoned Bocce Ball Court.

This place is friendly & makes the atmosphere so much better. The whole place is just incredibly well managed. Expect to go back for more, recommend to go during the day & stay all night ❤️‍🔥.

Arrived here today at 1:10am on 8/6 and was rudely kicked out at 1:45 when google states bar is open until 2am. Security said bar closes at 1:45. Which is fine… I guess, but we purchased a drink during last call which was at 1:30. Received it by 1:35 and was forced to chug it. (Which we didn’t) but such a waste of money. If the venue closes at 1:45 so last call at 1am! Let us know! So unprofessional.

Been here multiple times & usually always a blast but last night was not having it, The vibe atmosphere was great as always. But the drinks the bartenders gave me were pure dog **** Asked the girl (who was very sweet & polite) in the front for a mojito tasted like water & mint no flavor at all drank it but would not order again, asked the guy in the 2nd bar for a tequila & sprite does not even taste like sprite! drink taste so watered down & unappealing, also this time infront of me he adds water 💦 arrowhead infront of me, Returned it got a shot (Jack Daniels) with a coke chaser Coke was warm too the touch & melted all the ice half downed it so nasty warm soda 🥤 Asked for a margarita & I’m not even kidding when I say it tasted like an old shoe 👞 (Again guy was very sweet & polite Asked if I wanted something else) I politely declined Paid my 60$ dollar tab (as u can guess not worth the price) & left Great place but the drinks where’s hands down the worst I’ve ever had in my lifeeee definitely drinking somewhere else Fom here on out

What a cool place. I don't drink - you don't have to have a good time there - but even I was amazed at how cool the drinks looked. They have indoor and outdoor spaces for any preference regardless of the weather. And I don't sing, either - but even I was impressed by their karaoke song selection. It's a terrific place to hang out after watching a show in the Theater District or just meet a friend or both. Looking forward to coming back.

Alex was more than just knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Truly, made our experience. He even recommended a taco truck (tacos El pecas). Now we're full, happy, and ready to try more. Atta boy, Alex.

I don't think they offer food. But the entrance is Fabby's Sandwicherie and their tortas are delicious.

So I just walked in here because after a 30 min Uber ride to get dt I really just needed to use the washroom - I was intending on staying and having a drink after but as walked in asked if I could use the washroom - got the most unwelcoming look from the lady behind the bar and a stern rude ‘no’ end of conversation response - with a little look of disgust thrown in - not sure if it is what I was wearing - my not being white - the bar thinking I was there just to use the washroom but really what a horrible and unwelcoming attitude to a visitor from out of town …. Would say this is an indicator of the ethos of this place and just wanted to ensure that attitude and complete unwelcome was reflected in a review… all other bars been to in LA were so welcoming and lovely … hopefully management can talk to the Karen behind the bar and ask her to maybe just not judge people walking in asking to use the washroom they might actually want to be a customer ! Prob just get a response saying ‘we don’t let outside people use our washroom though’ …

We felt really offended when the manager suddenly asked us to leave because we had an alcohol in the shop, which we put in the counter with the security lol. It ruined our night experience...

Lovely little hidden gem. We thought it was closed due to the front portion actually being closed, but chatterbox is a cute little hidden speakeasy feeling bar in the middle section of the building. The fella working last Saturday night was wonderful to us, knew a lot of history about the business, and made us wonderful drinks. (Can't remember what they were called but they're on the happy hour menu and they were awesome!) Patio was great to be able to people watch. Very mellow setting, will definitely come back next time we're in the area.

I really enjoyed this bar. It had a locals vibe about it and the design was minimal yet effective. The cocktail list was extensive and the ones we chose were delicious. All round great vibe and when in DTLA once more, this establishment will be on my list!

Great ambiance, excellent service and great drinks! A bit pricey, but worth it! I love the booths!

We went to this bar to kill time before dinner down the street. It was more spacious than we expected The bar is on the right side when you walk in. There are tables on the left and also a booth on the right. When you walk into the other room, there are more tables. There was even an outside area. Lighting is dark, but not too dark. It was just right

Great fun and creative spot. I came here with my friend because I've seen lots of pictures on Instagram and decided to experience with location. When we arrived we told them we were planning on eating so they just said go head and see yourself.

Alicia is awesome! Came here for my 30th Birthday and she made it amazing! She gave us off the menu drinking and everything this girl touched was gold!!! Come check this place out! Ambiance is fabulous, drinks are better!

Love this place! It has such a good vibe and excellent selection of drinks. The bartender "T" was knowledgeable and any drink he recommended I had :) The bartender was energetic and friendly. The location is right by the Americana. This place was very clean, has lots of sitting space and good music. Music isn't too loud perfect if your having a conversation :)

This is a really cool place! Delicious and fresh food. I like the ambiance and the pricing is just right. People working here are all nice. I commend Pua who served us the last time, she was really nice and professional. Will be back here with my friends this weekend :)

Shannon (aka the best server) made our Basin experience so enjoyable. When I asked what's the best drink/food to get Shannon did not disappoint with her recommendation. The truffle Mac n cheese and the whiskey sours made me want more! The service simply put is the best and they put a lot of work in the drinks/food that are simply delicious and wonderful. I'd recommend anyone to this place because it caters to all types of bars. It has a dive bar feel with flash and cleanliness of an upscale, and the service to match any bar.

Such a cool place! The atmosphere is very cool and I like a themed bar. The parking is just wherever you can find and it's not a well lit area but the bar is nice and good drinks. The location is a little small and can be tight but they have an outdoor patio too that has some seating and a fireplace. We ordered the scorpion bowl which was huge but good for sharing! Super strong but was cool to try!

Celebrated my birthday and other events here I've gotta say Brian and Dante, the bartenders are awesome. This neighborhood establishment is a perfect place to hangout with good friends along with good drinks and good appetizers. This friendly environment is very welcoming with great happy hour prices. A great addition to our close knit neighborhood.

If you're looking for fantastic music and a welcoming staff, be in this lounge! They had really crafty bartenders who will make and serve you their signature cocktails. They've got my favorite tacos too!
