I
am
able
to
visit
LA
(from
Europe)
about
twice
a
year,
each
time
I
come
I
always
make
sure
to
visit
this
wonderful
bar
as
many
times
as
I
am
able.
The
range
of
beers
is
great
(something
new
for
me
to
try
every
visit),
the
staff
are
both
knowledgeable
and
friendly,
all
in
all
it’s
a
really
great
place!
I
don’t
normally
make
the
effort
to
write
reviews,
but
something
special
happened
to
make
me
want
to
‘break
my
rule’
as
I
think
the
bar
management
went
out
of
their
way
recently….let
me
briefly
explain.
During
my
last
visit
(August
22)
I
wanted
to
take
some
beers
away
in
a
growler
that
we
had
bought
from
Southland
previously.
Unfortunately,
we
were
told
that
this
was
not
possible
anymore.
I
admit
that
this
confused
me,
so
on
my
return
to
Europe
I
wrote
via
their
website
to
ask
why
this
had
happened
(and
to
express
mild
frustration
that
it
had).
I
was
utterly
DELIGHTED
to
hear
back
really
quickly
from
Tim
with
an
apologetic
but
full
explanation
as
to
why
this
was
no
longer
(legally)
allowed.
This
‘going
the
extra
mile’
to
answer
my
question
so
politely
and
fully
was
an
example
of
really
first
class
customer
service,
thank
you
SO
much!
I
can’t
wait
to
come
back
(hopefully
February
‘23)
to
enjoy
some
more
special
times
in
this
special
place!
