I'm a black man. So you know I know what time it is, when my senses get tingling. Well...No alarms. No subliminal flashes. No lacking attention. It was great. The quantity of food and the taste, is good for the price. What else I saw, on a Sunday afternoon, was several older, older folks there. Management and the staff treated these people like majority stockholders. And the word must be around. Cause there was a bunch. Very nice to see that.

This was Horrible , philly cheese steak had no chees, raw onions and peppers, st patty melt was just a hamburger with onions, the queso looked more like clotted cottage cheese curdled, and worst of all , their version of shepards pie was a tiny bowl of potatoes covered withed grated cheese , and a seperate coffee cup with some soup or slopp that i assume was supposed to be the meat and veggies. Everything tasted bland and lifeless!

After a years long hiatus from one of my favorite places I returned to O'Niell's on Central Ave. with a guest for lunch. Still the same atmosphere and menu but my favorite paradise burger has gone from $9 to $16 plus a surcharge for using a credit card which really is gouging when the burger almost doubled in price. What I really don't appreciate is the onset of the Norovirus symptoms that both I and my guest are experiencing this morning. Needless to say that we won't be back to O'Niell's. REPLY to the owner... Looking at the menu I was aware of the current price and chose to pay it. The price is what the price is. I wasn't aware of the "penalty" charge for using a credit card until the check came and that would have caused me to walk out before ordering. If you can't make a profit charging $16 for a hamburger and have to gouge credit card customers then you might consider another business. My guest and I both getting sick after dining at O'Niell's is FAR more than a "disappointment" it was a week of severe discomfort.

What a disappointment. Looking foward to celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Food was incredibly small portioned, bland, and expensive. Especially being served on paper cups and plates. Not a lot of Irish drinks to choose from and the one we ordered not on the chalk menu wasn't made correctly. But I'm sure the numerous elderly couples enjoyed it. We had to go and find dinner elsewhere because the dinner we thought we'd ordered was appetizer size.

Less than mediocre food, atmosphere, and service. I cannot think of why a patron would willingly return here. The venue has the feel of a low-scale chain (think Chili’s) with less enthusiastic servers. I had the fish and chips, which came out somewhat warm, but not hot. They had likely been sitting under the warming lamp for some time. The first bite I had of the fish was only breading. I like breading, but I usually expect my fish and chips to contain fish. The fries were limp and soggy. I happen to enjoy limp fries, but I’m an outlier in that regard, and most patrons will want their fries both hot and crispy instead of lukewarm and limp. Both were largely flavorless. I had tried O’Niell’s once before and it was just as flavorless. I had to come back this evening for a social club event, but ideally it’ll be my last time. I suppose if one is tipsy on enough on their beer selection they won’t really care what the food tastes like. If you do, skip this establishment and go literally anywhere else.

I found this establishment to be wonderful! The food was wonderful! What stood out to me was the service. We brought our dog and the waiter was amazing with her! Very kind, attentive and cared for her beautifully! He was prompt with our order and kept our glasses filled with drink and our needs met. This was truly a superb dining experience and the wait staff were magnificient! Thank you very much!

I've been going to O'Nielll's since the 90s! When it is a lovely day for Guinness, they have a great patio Or indoor space, that can accommodate large crowds. The food is good with some unusual choices. The service typically isn't speedy but I don't go there when I'm in a hurry. Plenty of parking.

The best Adult Oriented Bar. (Good for family too) In the sense that you can sit, have a nice beverage with wonderful choices of food and enjoy the company of others. No distractions of constant televisions (TV) on or loud jukebox music. It's Casual Classy! In the nicest way possible.

We took our out-of-state guests and three dogs on a very cold night. The enclosed heated patio was warm and comfortable and the dogs loved the atmosphere. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked, not greasy and just the right size serving for dinner. One of us had pesto pasta and said the dish was very good and appreciated the vegetarian option. The Philly Cheesteak was tasty with crisp peppers. The waiter was efficient and attentive without being intrusive. The beer choices were perfect with the Elevated IPA being the favorite of the evening. This is the place to bring your well-behaved pets to enjoy a delicious meal with the family.

Awesome staff. Barkeeps make great cocktails, and give great service. They have the best ribs in the city (Friday only), and I found a penny in the parking lot. Best pub in town.

My friend and I came here for an early lunch or after hiking in the morning. We usually hit the early crowd so there were not a lot of people. Sitting at the patio can be quite a challenge if the restaurant is not busy. The servers might not come to check or refill waters as often. One good thing is that they usually bring water and a cookie for our furry friends. We ordered and shared nacho. The order was high and it can be a meal in itself. I ordered half Caesar salad and a cup of lamp stew. The salad was okay - I wish there would be a bit more dressing on it. The stew was a little disappointment. It tasted like carrot soup with lamp as its protein. I also wish they would give a piece of bread to go with the stew; those packaged crackers would not do their job for soup. The seating outside was comfortable. We tried the key lime pie for dessert and I think it tasted good. Definitely made from scratch...yum!!

The service is always kind and attentive. Been here many times and have never been disappointed. They used to have a lot of fun events too— I will be looking for those in the near future. Came after the annual Pride Parade. They had the place decked out in pride decor, the place was packed, etc. All employees were super nice and helpful. Food was out in a reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. Drinks were good as well.

Locally owned place in Nob Hill that is just absolutely phenomenal. Very nice outside patio with a warm crackling fire to sit at... or grab a booth outside. They also have a covered patio and plenty of comfy tables inside. The chef has daily specials, I think one is always a vegetarian option. The food is fantastic. From Mac and Cheese to burgers to salad. They have a great menu. I had the most amazing service tonight. My burger was cooked to perfection, and the green chile cheese fries hit the spot! Do yourself a favor and eat here, you will love it.

I was invited to a Holiday party so I never entered the actual bar as they have a side door for group parties. The party room was nicely decorated for the holidays and the staff was polite and attentive. A bartender manned the bar and there was a buffet (red/green enchiladas, fajitas, chicken wings and salad - the food was delicious!!! It was a fun night. Next time I go I want to enter the bar where everyone is partying.

Wow. O'Neill's has gone right down the toilet. This used to be a favorite spot! What happened!? As soon as we walked in, loud rock music started blaring. Honestly. I don't need to jam out at lunchtime. All the chairs had visible black grime, the tables were dirty and the menus were sticky. If the front of the house is this filthy, just imagine what the back of the house is like! Now imagine that in your food... Yikes! We left without ordering, and I filed a complaint with the health department. Gross!

Awesome food. Our server was really rude. Id definitely go back but not with that red headed waitress. I had the avocado burger and it was good. I'm usually a picky person but I do thoroughly enjoy these burgers with the side Cesar salad, the croutons are awesome as well

Do not come here if you want fried pickles! The pickle to fried ratio is way too high! They actually took a whole pickle and decided to only cut it into 4 quarters length wise before frying it. Please look at how Bosque does it and reform. Besides that, good Guinness. Will come again, just never ordering the fried pickles.

We enjoyed our meal here. Food is decent, atmosphere is very nice. Good beer selection We had fish and chips, and a wedge salad. They were both good but nothing to write home about. We especially enjoyed the art on display

Met with a group here for happy hour. It was my first time at O'Neills. The service was outstanding and the food was really good. I highly recommend the mac and cheese bites. The Celtic Punch was a nice combination of fruity and boozy. I'd definitely eat here again.

When looking for a venue to host our engagement party, we reached out to Oniell's. The gentleman who helped us coordinate the event was super nice and wonderful to work with. During the party, everything ran smooth. The food was AMAZING and shocked by how deliciously spicy the Salsa was. The price was very reasonable and staff was great! Highly recommend for small parties and gatherings. Try the salsa! Thanks again for hosting us!

I went on St. Patricks day and it was popping. The service was good and the atmosphere was just what you would expect from a pub. Food is okay and they have beer and liquor.

O'Niell's... I got fish and chips here. The fish was cooked well, but kinda bland. Luckily the tartar sauce helped with that. The chips were also bland, unremarkable, and undistinguished, as they weren't all that crispy. Again, thank goodness for the tartar sauce. I can't finish this review without discussing the menu. I can get Bangers & Mash and Shepherd's pie if I wanted to, which is good. Every Irish pub has to have those as staple menu items. However, what is the deal with Tacos al-pastor? Huevos Rancheros? Some of these menu items are as close to Ireland as I am to MARS!

The food was almost perfect. My Mac n cheese was more like a soup, but it tasted really good. I would have asked for a spoon, but our waitress was too busy staring at her phone while sitting at the bar to get us drink refills, let alone do much else for us.

Such a nice place! I saw it many times from afar and thought it looked small. It was a great surprise when I walked in, so spacious, chill and friendly. Food was good. Our bartender was so nice too!! His name was Wesley (I think) make sure to catch him!

Food was good. Service on the other hand, we could’ve just gone to food stand bc that’s about the extent of the waitress’s customer service. No personality? Fine, like hey maybe she’s just having a bad day. Then she brought our check and literally stood there and WAITED for us to pay for the food right then and there!! Then after I signed my receipt… mind you I was sitting by the wall… this waitress leans and reaches over everyone to get the signed receipt while my gf was still eating!!! Not to mention feeling like we were being eyeballed the entire time. I had to stare back at people and hold eye contact for a hot min before they finally looked away. 2 stars is being generous. Food was good, not great. We’ll be going elsewhere.

I really enjoyed this place. The food was great. The chili Cheese fries are the best! Great atmosphere for lunch. We sat in the indoor patio right next to Central on a Sunday afternoon, we got to see all the cool cars cruising down Central....I recommend this place highly!

The burgers are much smaller now (supply chain? inflation?) than they have been on previous visits. It tasted like a pre-made hamburger patty. We've enjoyed O'Neill's before, but it's off our list now.

I went with a large party of 16 recently. O'Neill's had a nice set up for us when we arrived. Our waiter, Wesley, was very good considering that he had to keep 16 meals straight. The food is always delicious here and we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is a nice place for meeting friends for food and a drink.

I was shocked that this random place in Albuquerque, NM has original artwork by Salguromero just hanging on the walls like, no big deal at all. Apparently he lives here or something.
