walking into the establishment, there was an unwelcoming odor. It reminded me of a dirty floor. The restaurant was a third full. It took about thirty minutes to get our appetizer (chips and salsa) and another fifteen minutes after that for the entree to arrive. The food was okay, not memorable, nor did it create a craving to want to come back. The Philly was dry. The tacos were okay. Going back to the comment above, as we waited for the appetizer, we watched two different parties walk in to the restaurant, sat down, and then abruptly left.

Nice place. Staff was reasonably friendly. This is not a place you want to come when you're on a schedule. Service was very slow, both in service and in did prep. They're either understaffed or very busy. Had the southwest burger, which was good, but a little over done. If the burger is covered in cheese and green chili, I don't need lettuce, mayo and tomato too. We had a fight of their local beers, which was excellent. All six were delicious. Whoever is managing the alcohol is doing a great job.

High Point grill is doing it right! I enjoyed some delicious Mac n cheese with perfectly cooked to order (medium) on top! The flavors were so well balanced and leaves you scraping up your plate for every last bite. I also tried the chile cheese fries, Christmas style, and those too, were phenomenal. Although, I think an actual red Chile sauce instead of powder would make these really pop! The location is sort of odd but worth the effort to get to. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a great time at High Point grill. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I walked in, because the setting is just a little relaxed. But that really made for a fun atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had a burger with cheese and bacon added. I wasn't sure about the garlic aioli, so I had them bring it on the side. And I ate half my burger with the garlic aioli which was delicious! The other half with mustard and ketchup which was also delicious. But, it's my standard Burger dressing so I expected it to be good. The burger was cooked just right, and the bun, which I think was brioche, really complimented the flavors. I would definitely have another one of these. My wife had the Cobb salad. Frankly, I was a little envious. I have burgers quite often but that Cobb salad was a real delight. I think she ate most of it, but I finished it off. When I go back, I'd like to try that Cobb salad myself. After the meal, we had bread pudding. And it was fantastic, too. It was big! I took half of it home. They have quite the selection of beers here. So, if you're in the mood for a variety of beers and great food, give this place a try!

They experimented with taking tacos off the menu and putting their amazing hand made pizzas on the everyday menu. Many customers asked for the tacos back and wow, they sure are! I love the steak taco. So we also tried the steak pizza, and found it amazing. Picture at the top the Steak Pizza, with balsalmic reduction as a savory drizzle, center left, the Queso and chips (spicy Queso, hand made, with a zing of cayenne - I loved this - not your usual Velveeta paste, real cheese and a melange of flavors) Served with a side salad with blue cheese dressing - dressing made in house with blue chese crumbles.

I got the southwest burger. It was ok. The green Chile's were falling off. The fries were meh. My friend got the Mac n cheese and it tasted a little raw to me. Compared to the price, I expected better.

The burgers were amazing. The buns were perfectly toasted and the patties had the right amount of sear on them. And the side of mac and cheese was bigger than I expected.

The best burger I have had in the Albuquerque metro! They have a nice beer selection and as an added bonus they have sweet tea! I didn’t take a picture of my entrée, but here’s the turtle cheesecake.

Great food and comfortable atmosphere! Cobb salad was INCREDIBLE, so full of delicious flavors and ingredients that kept giving and giving! The pizza was flavorful, fresh and the chicken was amazing! Cumbre beer... YES! Props to the chef making it all happen in the kitchen! Fantastic service and a local business. Just GO‼️💯

Came on a Sunday evening. Had a vanilla Porter and a blue cheese burger with classic fries. It was perfectly cooked and delicious, the skinny fries were also very tasty. Our server was very attentive.

The prices of this establishment need to be reviewed. The food was a total disappointment. Mac and cheese had no flavor to it at all. The burger was dry and honestly just bad. There are many options near here including fast food choices that will serve you better food, for half the price. Also, we waited an hour to be seated, an other 45 minutes for our food. It was so awful.

Sports bar with great service. The food, however, not so much. $13 for a salsa, guac, and queso plate. Keep in mind this is a New Mexico. It was all from Costco, and there was no cheese in the quest.

Place was awesome! Wife and I came for dinner for the first time. Some wait for 2, early Friday night. A party of six was told a 45 min wait. 2 spots opened up at the bar, and the bartender who served us was fantastic, fast and very friendly.

This was a gem that we found as we were just looking for a place with a black bean burger. Staff was attentive and friendly, atmosphere was casual gastropub, loved the paper on the table for coloring and writing out my beer flight names... Very reasonable prices and high quality fare (and hefty portions). Hearty burgers with lots of flavor. The wait time seemed long, but ultimately worth it. The cheese sauce on the Mac was creamy and the noodles were not overdone (as I usually expect with restaurant Mac), but I would have loved a little more flavor to the dish. I'd go back again to try out their wings or fancy Mac n cheese entrees!

A delicious Birthday Lunch with kids, a pleasant and delicious experience. Burgers are superb, salad was fresh, loved the vibe with the paper on tables and crayons- family friendly. Green Chile Cheese fries are awesome! Dessert was to die for. Service= top notch. Great selection of craft beer as well as plenty of wine options.

Nice bar & grill, ample selection of beers to choose from. The proportions are large & flavor was on point. Pricing seemed more than fair for quality & quantity. Also nice to see a local spot instead of just another chain. That being said, the interior seems a bit lacking for a bar & grill. Wait service was friendly enough but seemed short staffed, a fact also pointed out by help wanted signs. I imagine due to this busier days will lead to long wait times and beverages remaining empty for longer. Also parking was rather pitiful in the strip they are located in. Overall I'd say 4.1/5 stars.

Phenomenal burger and fries. If I am going to cheat on my diet, this is the place. Fantastic service too. Great selection of beer and wine.

Went with my family the other night and the food was absolutely delicious! Their kids menu is no joke, all three of the oldest kids ate all of their food, which is unheard of for them! My sons had the chicken tenders and grilled cheese and the tenders were fantastic and the grilled cheese was on Texas toast with several types of cheese and he ate all of it! My youngest got the buttered noodles and they were fantastic, nice and buttery and garlicky, she loved it. So not only was mine and my wife’s food fantastic, the kids’ food was as well! I fully appreciate that this place doesn’t phone in their kids menu and serves Kraft Mac or some half hearted attempts at tenders like a lot of restaurants do. The kids raved about the place and want to go back, one said he wants to back for his birthday. So when I say we had a great experience, I mean it. Our server was fantastic (can’t remember her name, but she’ll know who she is as my kids were regaling her with dad jokes. 🤣) The point I’m getting to his Go. Eat. Here. It’s delicious and the whole family can go. Enjoy! ✌🏻

We've watched this location turn over multiple times over the years but hadn't yet had a chance to try High Point so decided to stop in tonight. Not too busy for a Friday evening so we weren't sure what to expect. The atmosphere isn't bad but very simple decor. Service was very good: we were seated right away at the bar and Emily took good care of us. Nice selection of mostly local craft beers. The food took a while to come out considering it wasn't very busy but everything was very much worth the wait. The Southwest Burger (green chile cheeseburger) was excellent. Chile had a nice heat that wasn't overpowering. I upgraded to a side of Mac n Cheese since that looked to be a signature dish. lt was delicious and the portion was big enough that I had to bring some home. My wife had a chicken sandwich with fries and also said that both were very good. We'll definitely go back.

Went to their Valentine's Day fine dining experience and was pleasantly surprised at how they pulled off a 4 course meal. The first course was a cold borscht, that hit with the flavors of amazing sweet beets. I would've preferred it warm, but it was wonderful cold. The bread was hard as a rock though. Was barely edible even dipping it in the yummy borscht. The second course was a flatbread covered in brie, arugula, an amazing balsamic reduction, and honey. I had real issues with this course. The Flatbread was hard and inedible around the edges. He could've done well with half the size and making it somewhat soft so the whole dish could be enjoyed. The flavors were spot on though. I especially loved the choice of brie and honey. Third course was perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp on a bed of insanely tasty romesco. The sauce was almost a show stealer. There was also mountain of yummy purple potatoe "puree" on the side, which was actually a mash with hefty chuncks in it. It was perfectly seasoned and I ate all of mine. My wife had to leave half on her plate. The final dish was an "Elvis mousse" which was a beautifully smooth peanut butter mousse served in a really cool chocolate cup. It had perfectly sized crushed toffee, giant over cooked pieces of bacon(these were not good folks), and an sat-out-for-a-while banana sticking up from the dish. All in all, an amazing night my wife and I both enjoyed. Some nitpicking for the fine dining experience, more silverware than just a table knife, teaspoon, and a standard fork. Also, these really should be changed out every course rather than expecting the diner to wipe them down every time with the fast food style paper napkins. Lastly, try splitting up the tables. There was a whole bunch of people having to sit shoulder to should with other diners on a long bench. Seemed more a BBQ joint than fine dining. Just my worthless two cents lol. Thank you High Point for the wonderful evening and I hope you keep trying out fine dining. You guys really can do it well. Some more practice and you should see some awards in your future.

Tried the special, a pork loin boh mei sandwich and was extremely impressed. Lived the sauce and fresh ingredients on delicious bread. Wish it was on the regular menu. Love most everything here except the green chiles, very, very hot.

Amazing food, servers and ambiance! We’ve been here multiple times since 2021 and everything has been so consistent. The food wait time takes a bit but, because the food is SO GOOD! The Bang Wings are the best.
