Amazing food! Triple Apple Fritters as one serving. Green Cheddar Biscuit and Baguette French Toast, all delicious and awesome!

Found this place for lunch one day while visiting Albuquerque. Staff was really friendly and willing to give recommendations not only on the food but also good places to hike. I had the mac and cheese and added grilled chicken and chilies. It was so good. Not too rich, great flavor. The brunch menu looked really good, so will be back to try that soon.

Dining and Catering services are excellent. We've been regular customers in the restaurant for years. This past weekend, Myra catered a reception for us. We received personalized planning and creative, delicious food. My guests were highly complementary and raved about how pretty and colorful things looked.

This is a downtown gem! The food is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito and the fried egg sandwich. The covered outdoor area is comfortable and dog friendly. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

Lovely setting with one of the best breakfast experiences in ABQ. Delicious robust coffee, fantastic hash browns, warm service and an inviting patio. Loved the little fly fans for shooing away the pests. And oh yes ..cloth napkins.

Loved having brunch here with my friends!! It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio. Our food was bomb. I had Katie's eggs with both red and green chili and there was so much flavor in every bite. I highly recommend the mimosa bucket. We got to try the orange, grapefruit, pomegranate, and prickly pear juices. Staff was very sweet and attentive as well.

Nice little Cafe tucked away on a quiet street within an easy 10min walk of the convention center. The green eggs and ham omelet was sizable and delicious. My side of bacon was delicious and delivered extra crispy as requested. So good I went back a second time during my time in town.

Champagne brunch! Get there early or make reservations if you must to dine on the patio. It's a small space, but quite a loud crowd; since everyone chats - good times! Champagne was the attraction factor for us. The grubs were just some fillers; as we had a day planned ahead for more winde tasting. If you plan on doing thr same, welcome yourselves to start your leisurely day out at Slate Street Cafe. Do enjoy the outdoor seating!

A cute, inviting space with indoor and outdoor seating under a covered patio. SSC has counter-booth seating, large booths, tables, and outdoor seating on a covered patio. There’s street parking available that’s free on the weekends. I was visiting SSC for brunch on a Saturday and found street parking right out front, and was sat immediately without a wait. SSC offers iced coffee, which is nice as some brunch spots don’t. The service was friendly and checked on us through the meal. I had SSC’s fried egg sandwich for $13, which comes with white cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, and a fried egg over-hard on ciabatta. I added green chile to the sandwich. White cheddar hash browns come with the meal on the side. The sandwich was good, and I enjoyed the heat of the chile and the crispy bacon. Unfortunately the hash browns were so salty I almost couldn’t eat them. Since I had the hash browns first, the sandwich initially didn’t seem to have much taste compared to the salt bomb I just finished. I’m glad that dissipated and I ended up enjoying the sandwich. I like SSC’s environment, service, and vibe. I also enjoyed the sandwich. I’m hoping the hash browns were a one-off, because I’m interested in trying SSC again at some point.

Just discovered this place for Brunch. I had the Baguette French Toast with fresh berries. My friend had the Huevos Rancheros with Xmas chili. Both were scrumptious!! Yummy cocktails, lattes and coffee and delicious apple fritter. Service was very nice. Attentive, but not intrusive. Atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant!! Will definitely go back again!!

I LOVE Slate Street. They're my go-to brunch place in Albuquerque. The food is delicious and can serve a broad variety of people; their mimosas are great; the bottomless coffee has def saved me during brunch before. I've never been disappointed or underwhelmed by food I've had here. Really really delightful place! Even when there's a wait, it's still not obscene like it is at other nice brunch spots here. Plus there's seating outside to make it easier, which is a kindness.

Fantastic breakfast/brunch and cocktails! Just what we needed for breakfast! Fresh, delicious and the menu reflects New Mexico very well. This place seems very popular for locals so plan on a little wait. But totally worth it!

This is a nice quaint resturaunt with a charm that the staff bring out with their smiles and friendliness! They are only open from 9-2 but the food is amazing! Definately worth going and trying!

The only thing saving me from giving this place one star was a previously good experience here. Went in on a Sunday for brunch, and while it was 1, I was surprised that they were out of almost everything. No Dutch Pancakes, no fig sticky buns, no specials etc. We waited 10+ minutes before we were even given water. As a server, I try to have as much grace as possible. But our server was awful. Bad Attitude, rude and inattentive. When we finally received our meals, our burger and steak were over cooked (both were supposed to be medium rare.) Apple fritters were dry and tasteless. For the prices they charge, please make it worth your customers while.

An absolute gem! First time I’ve been here and it was amazing! The host and servers were in great communication together! The food both looked and tasted delicious. The pomegranate mimosa was just the right amount of dry and sweet. I was skeptical that the grits and shrimp was going to be either to hard or to overcooked. Absolutely not the case! The grits were cheesy and savory the shrimp was cooked to perfection. Followed by a lemon blueberry cupcake that was dense and nicely sweet. Our server was so kind and attentive! Will return for sure!

We went here on a Sunday morning after hearing wonderful reviews. We were pretty disappointed at the blandness of all the food. The presentation was beautiful, the food looked good but lacked flavor. I had the cheddar biscuits with turkey sausage. The biscuits were dry and the sausage was burnt on bottom and all the hashbrowns were drowning in butter. The other food we got really was presented well but everyone thought it was mediocre at best. Sorry Slate Street, we wanted to like your food.

Very nice an cost place to go. We tried their champagne tasting night and it was so good. We had 5 different glass of champagne with see scallop appetizer. Then we had 4 different dishes that I can tell fried chicken was the best. All dishes were good but not special. Then we had desserts that was little bit disappointing! Just different cupcakes. I am not saying cupcakes were not good but I am not fan of cupcakes! For now I give them 4 ⭐️ and for sure I will go there more. Thanks 🙏🏼

Food was fine, nothing bad, nothing to write home about. The server was great. The issue is that a party of 6 (2 adults and 4kids) were put at a table for 4. While other tables were open. We quickly realized that the other table in the back section where we were seated also had a child. And so despite not really fitting at the table, we were shoved in the back at a too small table because of our kids. A server who was not ours asked how our meal was, we told him we were squished. He said nothing and walked away and that was that. So the bottom line is: Ok food, decent service. Don’t come if you have kids. Be prepared to be shoved in the back at a table that’s too small. Edit: called and spoke to the manager who basically chided us and told us we could have sat outside. We would have happily sat outside but that was not offered to us. He then said well you would have had a 30 minute wait if you didn’t want the table (the too small table)- again no one offered us any options. Honestly just save yourself the time and skip this place if you have kids.

Not bad. Like their selection of food. Everything was cooked well. Bacon wasn't burnt to a crisp! (Only say that because it seems to be a theme in NM). The wait was long, but I think they're under staffed right now.

My wife and I usually really like this place. But today a huge disappointment and a display of extreme incompetence. We walked in at 9:30 and got sat. A table next to us got sat shortly afterwards. The table next to us got greeted almost immediately. We waited patiently as I know restaurants these days are struggling. 10 minutes passes and nothing. Not a greeting, nothing. Another few minutes passes and I decide to ask the hostess if we are going to get service. She says that she'll get our server. Mind you, there are many servers walking around and many tables are getting service around us. Many that have sat down after us. We wait another 5 minutes and nothing. We decided to leave. Totally unacceptable. No ownership from the staff. No apology as we were walking out. Whoever was here managing the floor was obviously oblivious. We've decided that this will be our last time ever going to this establishment and we will let everyone we know about our terrible experience and waste of time that we had here. Extremely disappointed.

Beautiful, intimate little restaurant for brunch or lunch. Our server was not overly friendly, just polite and to the point. The Mediterranean Salmon was seasoned to perfection and the vegetables were incredibly fresh. They also allowed me omit the quinoa from the dish which was nice. I will certainly be back and look forward to doing a wine tasting there

Had a great breakfast and it was close to our hotel and can sit inside or outside. Food was piping hot when it came out, delicious and all the employees were so nice. Highly recommend if your staying in the down town area.

I absolutely love this place. I've been taking everyone I can and telling everyone i know about it. Food is wonderful and service is on point. I highly recommend. Mimosas are amazing.
